I wish I could give Luis 10 stars! Long story long, my husband and I were stuck in an unsafe spot on I-80 at mile marker 230 in Iowa City when a red warning light came on. Our van's coolant was dry even after adding a whole 3.27 liter bottle. We called AAA and scheduled a tow and received a 2 1/2 hour estimate. After waiting the 2 1/2 hours, we called to ask when they would arrive and was told they cannot provide one because no contracted companies accepted the job. I became absolutely hysterical thinking about the possibility of having to wait further especially when it got dark! I was told to call Teo's Towing and spoke with Luis who kept calm as I was hysterically crying thinking I would have to be on the freeway another few hours until he could get a driver to us. Meanwhile, my husband started the van and began backing up to the freeway on-ramp entrance, which freaked me out even more! Luis was patient with me staying on the phone about 10 minutes as my husband slowly and carefully backed us totally off! Luis was actually 60 miles away but was ready to come get us but was fine with us calling around to see if we could find a local tow truck company which we were fortunate to find. I had a VW Beetle go into the media and stuck in the mud on I 80 They charged me a little over $1750 for the tow . They invoiced me for three tow trucks to pull the car 15 ft back to the road . I actually could see my car on I 80 from there yard . The car was at there yard for 2 days and they charged me for 3 also . Great service but the price was HIGHWAY ROBBERY . Our Peterbilt had to be towed to the shop yesterday. ATS road service contracted these people to pick up and tow it less than 5 miles. Rod waited over 3 hours for them to arrive. Rod and another driver unhooked the trlr and the trk was ready to be hooked and towed when the wrecker arrived. This morning we find out that they charged us $802.50 - several phone calls later we are told the driver reported he had to wait 3 hours and unhook the trlr. A TOTAL UNTRUTH. ATS paid this bill (using our money) without questioning WHY the bill was so high and without calling Rod. Don't know where the tow truck driver was but obviously he didn't want his employer to know either. Rod and their dispatch are on the phone arguing. Even with Rod telling their dispatcher that they took 3 hours to get there, that the trlr was already unhooked, etc. they insist their bill is accurate. Not offering to question their employee, not offering to adjust the bill, nothing! Do NOT call this company for assistance. There are other tow companies in the area. read more

We blew a tire on the interstate coming back to Omaha on Sunday. My wife called Teo's and they had a truck to our location within the hour. Willy was fantastic getting our car loaded on to his flatbed. He even let us sit in the tow truck while he was working so we were in a safer location. This put my wife and son at ease! Willy helped us figure out where we could get a new tire and then drove us back to Davenport to the Farm & Fleet. With it being a Sunday, Willy made sure that our tire could be fixed before closing time. He waited in the parking lot as I discussed our options, and he didn't set our car down in the lot until he knew we would get what we needed. It was reassuring to know that he was looking out for us. He was even willing to drive us to another service station if he needed. My family is greatly appreciative of Willy and Teo's Towing. They helped us out in a bind and got us to where we could get our tire fixed. While being broke down on the side of the interstate is never an ideal situation, Teo's Towing and especially Willy made the situation much less distressing. read more

They were extremely friendly, and suggested some diagnoses, but were quick and quite easy to deal with in good humor despite the situation. read more
