The two lovely ladies at the front desk were calm, collected, welcoming, and professional. The wait was not too bad. They were able to get everyone in and out within an hour and a half. There was roughly 7 or 8 people who had come in and gone since my visit. I required an EKG and chest X-ray. The young lady who first visited me was professional and reassured me along the whole process. Despite having to undress, she made me feel comfortable, which to me is a big deal! The doctor was wonderful! I wish I had caught her name. She was very detailed in her check up. She was attentive and gentle, she asked many questions, even about preexisting injury's or health concerns to ensure all the information was accurate. If you have an injury, I highly recommend coming here ! 10/10

Doctor didn't feel it - I thought okay, maybe not. Mentioned it at my next visit - and was told it would be counter proactive to get imaging done. Well.. fast forward to when I got imaging ordered and.. I have 3 hernias! If I had got imaging done 2 years ago when I first felt the first hernia then I could of started physical therapy way back then. Though, I guess that would be counter-proactive. 2. I had been sick for a while. Doctor told me to take... 1. Cold relief - 2. allergy relief - 3. flu relief meds over counter while also taking prescribed 4. anti nausea, 5. anti cough suppressants, and 6. inhaler. I was sick coughing for 7 weeks total. I know not to always believe google, but "Coughing too much or too strongly can cause a hernia." Anyways, My mom went to her doctor, the cough didn't get better after 1-2 weeks and they put her on a nebulizer. They also tested her for pneumonia. Doctors at KMG never ran a test. I feel being on 6 different medications is not good for you. I did not feel right on all those medications. 3. I had mentioned how I have seen a dermatologist but still am not happy. I went to a new doctor and the DOCTOR suggested (without me asking ) that I try a different creme - wrote that script that same day - as well as mentioned and changed my birth control to a brand that has helped other acne patients. I sort of just felt like I was just a number there - and not really actually cared about - besides the nurse there! I wish I could recall her name.

The lady who called from their office simply said the doctors chose/select who they want to see and when they decline a patient they never give the reason!

The gals NEVER fail to Greet me when I come in, always by my 1st name (YEA! They remember) and always ask about me,with a Genuine concern! My Doctor at "MM" is a legend in the Medical profession, is "Dr Vernice "Denny" Ragsdale or Dr Rags" as I endearingly refer to him, is an"Vintage" Dr having served in the Medical Profession for around 55 years I would imagine, and is a :HOOT" as well as a DAMN FINE DR! Dr Rags is always quick with a joke, and expects one in turn...he listens intently to what I have to say,and quickly formulates several avenues of testing, treatment and recovery. I can't say enough about Dr Rags except I highly recommend him, and if I don't, he'll schedule me for a "Colonoscopy! LOL All kidding aside, Malabar Medical provides Superior Medical Services, at a VERY Reasonable "Out of Pocket" costs, as well as all Major CreditCards. I should know, I've been coming to MM for several years, and wouldn't return if they were less than Great! Plus, I LOVE The Dr Rags Show! LOL.....Dennys a GREAT-guy and and Exceptional Physician! The location was a bit smaller than what I have experienced in the past. Sitting down at a community table to discuss my therapy & to have my bandage opened & changed among everyone else there was something I had never experienced before. Private health information & wounds were always cared for privately. Of course, the therapy itself was in a large open room similar to the one at Hale Hand Clinic... Karen was very kind and knowledgeable. I was pleased with my therapy & my progress thus far... Can't wait to see her Friday to show her what I can do now!! MARCH 2025 Review: PAPERWORK... Should be offered to be filled out BEFORE arriving. The first time I went in February, I had left-hand surgery & could still use my right hand to fill out the paperwork... However, less than a month later I had right-hand surgery and could NOT use my right hand to fill out paperwork. Thank goodness there was someone kind enough to fill out the paperwork for me, but if given the ability to fill out the paperwork online before the appointment - it would've been MUCH easier & more comprehensible! JUNE 2025 Review: I'm done! Both hands are feeling great! I needed some Iontophoresis therapy & that utilizes electrical currents to deliver corticosteroid through the skin, to reduce inflammation and pain in my hands. Karen would massage both hands (palms), wipe off the lotion with alcohol, inject the Dexamethasone onto a pad (with a built in battery) that was connected to the Iontophoresis machine (using electrical stimulation (electrodes). Ions in the substance use the charge of the electrical current to deliver the medication by repelling each other like magnets.), stick it to my hands, & then put the 2nd electrode pad will be filled with saline & placed on my arm to help conduct that electrical connection, so to speak... THERAPIST: Karen is Awesome! Sometimes there are double bookings of clients, but don't worry! For instance, when I was on the Iontophoresis machine, there wasn't anything she could do for me, so she was with someone else, but was always Very Close by to help if needed & pay attention... This place is Great!

I have had many surgeries in the past. I have to say, this place was very good. From check in to…read mored/c, it was good. The anesthesiologist was phenomenal. He took my concern about my previous episode with awareness very seriously and made sure to pull out some "tricks" to prevent it on his case. I remember waking up post op and him being there asking me if I remembered anything from surgery. I didn't which was good and exactly what I asked for. Apparently me and Fentanyl aren't friends but they made sure my discomfort was well managed with Benadryl and anti nausea medicine. My surgeon, Dr. Moyles and his PA were phenomenal, as well. They both made sure I was comfortable and was ready for surgery and he got me back an hour EARLY for surgery. The one thing I was a little thrown off by was that they gave no post op instructions verbally to my mom. They gave the paperwork and that was it. I'm not sure if that's because they knew that I am a paramedic and knew how to handle my care but it was the only time I can ever think that we didn't get explained post-op care instructions. Again, that was the ONLY minor, very minor thing. As long as the paperwork was given, I count it as a win. I may be returning to the facility soon to have my other hand operated on but not sure if that's the route I want to take or not. I would 100% be okay with returning.
