Extremely dissatisfying! Worst quesadilla ever. Stuffed with over seasoned chicken and grease. Worst part is they don't give you any salsa or sour cream. Given this place a few chances now. The burritos are disgusting and leave a foul taste in your mouth. Their tacos suck and their quesadillas are horrible. Not going back. I came here for lunch like I do every now and then. They are close to my job so it's a nice walk and good food. The service is ok take my order bring my food to my table. Today was well nor a great service day. I ordered the carne Asad burrito tequilero style which has a up charge. I'm eating my burrito looking for the sour cream I paid extra for, not there. I tell the cashier her first response is nothing I can do about it. Not a good first response. Not how can I make it better. I just looked at her and said ok. She decided to go in the kitchen to see if there's anything that can be done. Keep in mind I've only eaten 1/4 of the burrito. I turned and said it's ok. Eating out can be very expensive. When you pay for your food and extra up charge at that it should at least be as ordered. I guess it's time to take my money elsewhere. read more

They used to be really good, but unfortunately my recent experience was very disappointing. They forgot part of my order, yet I was still charged for it. I ordered asada, but the meat was shredded, extremely dry, and had very little flavor. There was also barely any cilantro included. Overall, the quality was not what I've come to expect from them. Lady who took my order was super nice, I came around 1 and there was a person ahead of me but food came out quick. They also take cash or card. I got the Asada bowl, it came with asada, cilantro/red onion, rice, beans, limes, and they put the salsas on the side for me so I can try before adding to my food. No before picture, I was too hungry and food was too good. Super excited for them to cater my wedding later this month. read more

The food was delicious the customer service was so bad. They treated me like I was bothering them with an attitude. I ordered my tacos and burritos online to NOT waiting in line. But I still had to wait in line! I tried to their attention but they would ignore me! I will not come back because I like to feel like a valued customer! This is one of my favorite taco trucks. This is the first location and now they have grown tremendously. The only thing is their food isn't as spicy as it used to be. The last order I had the shrimp was really overcooked. The other meats are great. Tequileros style used to be more spicy though. This truck is always busy. They also have a restaurant downtown Lodi. Also many other locations as well. read more

The tacos are good, but everything else is hit or miss. The burritos are often too greasy and very skinny, sometimes overly salty, and the asada tastes like it's mixed with ground beef. Definitely room for improvement. read more

Ordered through Yelp with grub hub and so convenient since they take a long time. Definitely recommend to do that instead of waiting there 25 mins or more. I would check with truck sometimes they don't update if your food is ready which in my case I picked up around 6:15 when order pick up time was around 6:24-6:44pm so just go to counter to double check. Avoid! Unsafe, Cold Food & Terrible Service. I picked up a burrito from this food truck on Kettleman in Lodi, CA on 11/19 The food was served completely cold. This is a major food safety issue! it suggests they are pre-making food and letting it sit out. Everyone should be aware of this unsafe practice. When I contacted them for a refund. 1. The number listed on Google rejected my call. 2. Whoever manages the number refused the refund, claiming they had no record of my order, even after I sent a screenshot of the charge. Came across this place while looking for a nearby restroom after a day trip. Did not know there were other locations and then I found their IG page and saw their following. Food here was pretty good. Tried their super tacos with birria, carne asada, and al pastor. I probably would opt out of barrio in the future but the other meats were tasty. Nachos did not get soggy and the al pastor burrito was my favorite. Overall, a place worth checking out. read more

After working in Lodi for +6 months trying to find a good restaurant with great food and even better service is a rare find when traveling for work but servers/bartenders Maria and Yesenia are nothing short of extraordinary and keep the high ambiance and social atmosphere of Tequileros extremely high! This is hands down one of the best Mexican spots around! The service was top-notch--our waiter was friendly, engaging, and quick to refill our drinks. The enchiladas were loaded with savory fillings and smothered in a rich, flavorful sauce. The salsa was perfectly balanced, not too spicy but with just the right amount of heat. Ordered the tequileros carne asada nachos and highly disappointed. The chips were not fresh at all. They were very very stale and tasted disgusting. The cheese was not even melted. Shredded cheese nachos swimming in a pool of grease. The last couple times I've been here the food has been terrible. If I had not been on my way to work I would have brought the nachos back. You can do better. Lost a customer that frequents often. This place is way too expensive for the poor quality. read more

I'm on a special diet (OPTAVIA) so I always think taco trucks are not an option for me but they have a veggie and protein bowl and it's not just lettuce it's bell pepper, cucumber, asparagus. Even my son who is a picky eater (on the spectrum) devoured it so I ended up ordering a second bowl. So delicious and clean. Try them out! read more

The woman who took my order was friendly, and my order was ready surprisingly fast! I ate about 1/5 of the burrito before I started thinking it tasted kind of funny... I couldn't figure out what it was, but something was wrong with it. I kept eating it and decided I recognized what it tasted like- fish! I do like seafood, so I just figured, maybe they just finished making some fish, and didn't clean the grill off well enough before making mine. I wasn't sure if I was crazy, or if it really tasted like fish. So, I asked my boyfriend to take a bite and tell me if it tasted fishy to him. He took a bite and said "that's fish they accidentally gave you fish instead" and went and spit out the bite in the trash. Well, I looked up the menu, and it turns out, they don't even serve any fish or seafood! I googled why my burrito might taste like fish, and it said rancid meat.
