    SAFETY ROUND
    Daniel C.

Side hustle has to be one of my favorite local breweries. They have a constant rotation of incredible beers. I love always trying new styles they come out with. They have live music, food trucks and a super friendly staff. They even have a really amazing non alcoholic hop water called safety round for those friends who don't drink. I think they said something like they are third best brewery in Lodi but they are number one in my book! If you haven't checked them out you need to ASAP you will not be disappointed.

While I'm not there every Friday like a "former" customer, this brewery has been a place for my family to enjoy a brew, some pizza and good vibes over the years. It supports my cousins business every Friday (check out Pizza Party 209) and other local businesses and artists. They have a great variety of beers that we love to try out. They have the most attentive staff and to no one's surprise, they welcome everyone in with a smile. This is the kind of atmosphere Lodi and the Central Valley have needed and we're happy to continue celebrating it!

Price for the flights and singles are definitely worth it. They had live music and there are some games you can grab to play. Good for small groups or solo. They happened to have a pop up for a bbq place there but I think they rotate pop ups of people with food. Either way would come back good vibes

We stumbled onto this place looking for a dog friendly brewery and we were soooooo happy!! The wine I had was delicious, and my hubby enjoyed the Hustle Juice and Trophy Wife beets. We look forward to coming again! ( and so does our doggie).

Deep breath...sigh...Sooo...many years ago I got into it just a little bit with Rick (Riaza tasting room downtown.) Ended up crossing them off our list. A couple weeks ago I discovered Side Hustle Brew was in existence. Since I am not looking for a new best friend and being a beer kind of person, I decided to give them a go anyway...just looking for some good suds...Great-Great decision. First off they are making some really good beers. We went through several taster glasses and a few pints. The awesome lady running the place is great. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable and gave us a couple sips so we could get oriented. Things I liked...the beer, the glasses, the logo (okay, I am a nerd graphics guy), the vibe and the friendly peeps we met who were also enjoying a pint or two. The tasters at $2 are an incredible go...for $10 you get a good taste of five brews. Great experience. No food but they do rotate food trucks on prem and allow you to bring food in. Thumbs up! Nice outdoor space when weather permits. They have made it to my top two list here in Lodi. Gave me a menu which I hung from the activity board in our short term rental property. Only possible negative was the indoor space is a bit noisy but hey, it's a party place...right. Nice bar, tables and high-tops to choose from and get comfortable. Interesting little table games to keep you occupied as well. We liked it so much we came back...with a friend in tow. Beers are made in small batches so if you like variety/new beers and fresh beer, Side Hustle is your place. They have a membership club where you get some benni's including ability to purchase a special brew. Currently Snort & Rally which is almost worth joining the club for. Since they are part of/partnered with Riaza Wines, your group can enjoy both beer and wine at the same table. Grab a taco from out back and y'all are good to go. They are a little hard to spot as you head to Costco, but worth slowing down and looking for. As for my issue with Rick, I don't remember all the details, doubt if he does either and only a real loser-moron would hold a grudge for 20 years...So Cheers Rick! Best to you and your team...See you again!

We had a great visit to Side Hustle Brewery for Father's Day! FYI, they are kid friendly! We got there right @1 when they opened. When you park in the parking lot, it looks like you're in the qwrong place, but you're not! There is a side gate to access the property. The inside area is open with a lot of seating, and their outside area is nice. There is a covered portion and uncovered. They didn't have a food truck this day, so we brought in snacks which was awesome! They offer beer by the glass or you can do a flight of beer tasters. They also have wine flights or by the glass/bottle. They service was great, and I wish we had gotten the nice employees name but she was super helpful and knew all about the beers and wine she was serving.

I love going to Side Hustle, they brew the best beer in town, great local music, rotating food trucks everyday, and easily the most welcoming, inclusive, and respectful vibes, and a super chill atmosphere. They also give back to the community by supporting local fundraisers. The staff genuinely treats everyone like long time friends. The fact that they put real effort into being inclusive and community minded just makes me appreciate them even more. I'll keep supporting places like this because it's clear they care not just about making great beer, but about creating a space where everyone feels comfortable and valued. Cheers!

Get the flight, leave with a growler, get a bottle of red wine, and you'll be happy! One of the more inclusive places to imbibe and retrieve tasty snacks from a nearby taco truck or guest vendor :)

They had usually kept the sound levels here reasonable, but one show I attended was louder than usual. Afterwards, I have had ringing in my ears for the past TWELVE WEEKS. While I didn't think much of it during the show, I obviously would not have gone had I known it was going to cause this much damage. The venue should have posted a warning about the sound being above safe levels, and clearly advised patrons to use hearing protection and made that easily available. I learned too late that a sound level meter would have clearly shown that the sound levels were loud enough to cause permanent hearing damage. I'm normally the last person to complain about sound being too loud, but it's simply inexcusable that any show in a public venue would cause hearing damage! I have sent printed letters about this to the venue, its parent company and the management of the band. I have not received any response at all, not even an apology. I live very close to this venue and had attended many shows, but I no longer can after this. I greatly value my hearing and am now spending much time and money in efforts to minimize the damage this one show caused me. I was very happy to have this place open so close to me, but now I can't wait to move.

Arrival: The venue is located avout 3/4 of a mile down from the Hard Rock Hotel/Casino nestled in between Hwy 70 and Hwy 65, getting into the venue parking is relatively smooth depending on your arrival time. I had advanced paid for general parking(new this year as in past GP was included with admission) I was filtered and directed through to an exterior lot (unpaved) and smoothly directed to a spot by one of the many parking attendants about. It was obvious once the show started that they had a lack of staffing for a sold out show The normal ushers to check your tickets were nowhere to be seen in the walkway between the lawn area and 200 sections, not once in the couple trips from my seat in between Opener and Headliner did I see an usher in this area, let alone asked to verify my ticket, therefore I can only assume any adventurous person from the Lawn could easily have slipped down to the seats. Restrooms, there are two brick & mortar restrooms on the concourse areas on either side fom the entry, and then 2 large banks of porta pottys on either side just down steps from the lawn area, but from appearance(lack of staffing ?) On the side outside the 211 section appeared full bank open, long long lines, outside the 201 section, this bank looked like only had 2 portas open, and a whole larger bank was behind a fence not in use. Show was great, sound, comfort and vendors walking avout selling drinks or snacks. After the show, just settle in, we walked back to our vehicle, but the plethora of parking attendants from entry seemed to be maybe 1/2, or just stationed elsewhere as lines to get out were slow or bot moving at all. Knowing this going in, I settled in for the wait and amused myself watching the many people who did NOT note their parking area when arriving wander about clueless to the location of their vehicle. Suggestions to improve leaving, they need at least one or two more exits, and if they have them, I didnt see, but some lit portas out in the outer parking if we are going to have these waits.

Not ADA friendly. Currently here for a Hilary Duff concert. When buying tickets for our group of 4…read morethere were no ADA seats available we emailed before purchasing the tickets and were told "just pick 4 seats and when you get here we'll get you taken care of" which meant a rude women belittling us and splitting up our group of 4 into 2's in complete different parts of the amphitheater. If you can't buy ADA and have a disability don't listen to them and what they promise. This is NOT acceptable. Do better. We did everything on our end to make sure we did it right including emailing you in advance.2 of the 4 in the party even got in at opening and asked right away to ensure we got accommodations and the grumpy Old women was anything but helpful.
