The visit was great until checkout when I was asked if I wanted to donate to the ACLU. I politely said, "no thank you." I was then asked, "not even a dollar?" And I said, "no thank you." I was then asked if I knew what the aclu was. I answered briefly to which I was then informed of what they do and what they stand for and fight for. I then politely declined one more time. Listen, I understand that businesses sponsor donations to various organizations and as a business owner, I am passionate about what I do. But continuing to pressure a customer despite her repeated "no thank you" and confronting her on what is deemed ignorance is not professional. I was then asked if I donate anywhere and when I said I support students in Uganda, he FURTHER asked me if I support anything local like the ACLU. No, I didn't want to donate to the ACLU. I wanted to buy a gift. I bought the gift and left, but debated for the next thirty minutes on whether or not I should return it. I chose to chalk it up to passion but definitely won't return.

This particular store is larger than it looks from the entrance. They have a wide variety of t-shirts, costumes, and lots of novelty items, including seasonal clothing. There are lots of raunchy items that I don't find as humorous as when I was a teen, but I don't think this was ever a place that was intended for senior citizens. Or at least ones that grew up! I've tried this place three times over the years and have told others in the area that this is the…read moreokayest EA I've ever used. I've been disappointed anytime I've ordered anything with fine details but they've been ok with dipped strawberries and the like, as long as you keep in mind it's not going to be great. Well I ordered a tray for Mother's Day with chocolate strawberrries and mom spelled out in pineapple slices. When I picked it up the M and O were on top of each other, so I said I guess I can fix that. The owner actually said to me "that happens sometimes since we move things around" and went to get gloves to fix it. Lady, pineapple slices don't stack themselves from jostling. Someone didn't care enough to spell out mom properly, which is this whole store in microcosm. I'd forgotten that's this owner's standards so I just told her I'd fix it when I got home and left. At home I got a closer look and it appears that this tray was probably made a few days ago and has been sitting in poor or no refrigeration. I expect there will be variations in sizes on strawberries but these are clearly store bought strawberries and several were past their prime, with mushy tips and brown stems. Ultimately where I really miessed up is picking this tray up the day before Mother's Day. So it's going to age another day before being presented. Not a good sign. I was hoping I could just flip the pineapple slices and the bottom would have better edges but they've all been in contact with chocolate so the color has oozed into them and the chocolate on the strawberries in contact with the pineapple has turned into sludge. The edges of the pineapple show some age as well as they're starting to deteriorate with one of the M looking a bit older than the other. Really annoyed but the only good news is that everything tastes fine and my wife is much more concerned about taste than appearance. Not worth the price asked and paid however.

We came on a rainy Saturday morning around 11:30 and this place gets a lot of business! Even so,…read morethere's plenty of tables and seating so we had no issues with finding a spot and painting for hours. When you come in it will probably take you some time to first pick an item to paint. They have a variety of options to choose from with various price points. The price includes all the materials and supplies as well as the glazing process and the excellent service you receive. They do a great job with labeling paints, having different size brushes, switching out jars of water, and checking on you throughout the process. I will say that since it's best to paint 3 hours it takes a lot longer than you would think. So come with the mindset of getting lost in the therapeutic process of painting. We took 4 hours to paint our items. We will have to come back to pick up our items. They have a sign and provide clear communication on when to expect our items back. We had such a blast. I noted they have a party room that can be reserved so this would be a fun way to celebrate a special occasion! Will definitely be back to paint some more.

It ranges from $5 to $50 and many are around $20 or $30. It was interesting to see all the options! I would have liked a few $10 options but we settled on two things each as a celebration. You pay and then they set up yup with a table and brushes. They have paint labeled with colors as well and a multitude of stencils and stamps plus other gadgets that you can use for your creation. They mentioned several times that you need to paint everything three coats in order to have a vibrant color. I will say that takes much more time than one would think so definitely give yourself time to paint several layers without rushing. My only other thought was next time I would pick a bigger object for our small ones to do as opposed to the tiny hand. Painting was very frustrating for them. We were able to help, but next time e Id pick only big easily painted objects. It was a fun airy spot with lots of tables and creativity abounded! Once you are done they fire your objects and you come back later to pick them up. I would definitely go back and try something else with friends or for a date night even.
