In the past 4 years, I had gained 40+ lbs due to some special medicine I was taking (and probably some overeating of hamburgers too haha). I tried EVERYTHING to get rid of it. Juice cleanses, special diets, pills, multiple private trainers, you name it and I had done it. Unfortunately, nothing stuck. Knowing my wedding was just around the corner, I had to do something to get the weight off for good. I wanted to feel confident on my wedding day! I found Lindsay through a quick yelp search and was intrigued. Let's get this straight. This is not a special fad diet or some strict eating plan, its a way of life! Lindsay gives you the tools, skills, and mindset to make a long lasting change in your lifestyle. During the course of the 6 weeks, I lost 8+ lbs and now (more than 3 months later) I'm still continuing to lose weight by following what she taught me. I plan to be at my goal weight in the next 3 months (in time for my wedding!) And most importantly, I feel fantastic!!!!! I feel like a whole new person. Yes, it's a monetary investment but it was worth every penny :) do it!!!

I'm very happy I decided to use Lindsay! I just completed her 6-week program. As someone who has…read morealways been fixated on the latest diet and exercise trend, I feel like this time I actually learned how to have a healthy lifestyle versus temporary fixes. What I appreciated the most was her accessibility. She would review menus of restaurants I was eating at or provide me with customized recommendations. When I was frustrated with results or what the scale said, she was non-judgmental and offered helpful advice for how to overcome cravings or emotional reactions. In fact, I was surprised (in a good way) by how much of the program was centered around mindfulness and balance. Even though the program only includes 4 sessions, I felt like I was in constant communication with Lindsay and she genuinely cared about my progress. She frequently sent email updates and checked in, and when I had questions, she was never more than a text away. I am excited to see continued progress. I would recommend Lindsay to anyone!

Also I'm type 2 diabetic which causes the weight loss to be slower because of added carbs in the diet . I have lost weight but not at goal. The best result has been lowering my A1C significantly and resulted in less medication. I plan to continue until I reach my goal. Meeting with a counselor helps me stay conscious of what I'm eating!

The…read moreprogram has been a small miracle for me as I've done weight watchers (great, but I gained it back), and have seen two nutritionists with very minor success. This program is based on sound science and it works! It takes self-discipline, but the more progress I saw, the more disciplined I became. I have become a chronic label reader and now find it easy to reject products that are high in sugar or carbs as just not worth it. The key here is a diet rich in plant-based protein products, very limited carbohydrates, including sugar, and lean proteins. But the coaching is critical as well and Jody is a real cheerleader for your success! I couldn't have done it without her and will continue to take advantage of her availability after I reach my goal, which is a mere 6 pounds away. She was always available to answer questions and helped me develop strategies for business travel, vacations, and special occasions. As a result, I stayed on course and couldn't be happier. I am no longer pre-diabetic and have eliminated one blood pressure medication and cut the second one to a minimal dose. My sleep apnea has also been reversed. Is there a cost? Yes, but remember that the products replace some of your grocery costs. And think of the medical costs that can be minimized or eliminated when you reverse obesity! It's the best investment I've ever made in myself!

I had just been diagnosed with "silent reflux" (aka LPR - laryngopharyngeal reflux) which made my nose stuffy on one side and caused my asthma to flare up. I couldn't take any of the reflux medications my doctor prescribed because of serious side effects, so I was going through 1-2 bottles of Pepto Bismol each week. I had lost a lot of weight over a short period of time and weighed less than 100 pounds. I was also having daily panic attacks and my blood pressure was high, even though I had been taking blood pressure medication for about a year to lower it. I was in pain and afraid, and didn't know which way to turn, when my sister recommended Nour to me, saying that Nour had helped her with her digestive issues. I was amazed at how quickly Nour's program helped me. I took my last dose of Pepto Bismol within 5 days of starting the Phase 1 diet, and I haven't had to take any acid reflux medication since then. I don't have panic attacks anymore. My blood pressure is in the normal range, now, and my doctor approved discontinuing blood pressure medication. I sleep soundly for 7-8 hours every night. I am at a comfortable weight. My allergies and asthma are better than they have been in over 30 years, and I was able to discontinue using the prescription nasal spray I had been using since 1990. I never felt "deprived" eating the foods Nour recommended. It was really a relief to be eating more simply prepared and nourishing foods. My meals looked beautiful and tasted great! Communicating with Nour was easy - even during the pandemic. We met face-to-face via Zoom, and the online platform she uses made it easy to share information and track my progress. I was able to message her to ask questions between Zoom sessions and she was very responsive. Nour's Eat to Thrive program supported my ongoing digestive health by introducing me to ways to reduce stress - which can be an underlying cause of digestive issues. I learned helpful breathing techniques, visualization exercises, and even ear massage to stimulate the Vagus nerve to reduce stress!

I wish I had heeded the advice of previous clients of Nour Zibdeh who stated in their Google and…read moreYelp reviews that Nour overcharges for her services, is solely focused on profiting from her clients, and offers a program that is not scientifically based. Taking advice from these individuals would have saved me thousands of dollars, in addition to the constant aggravation of working with Nour. My intention of writing this review is to help you avoid making the same mistake I did in choosing to work with Nour- which only left me with feelings of anguish and regret. I have partnered with copious amounts of medical professionals in the healthcare field over the years, both professionally and personally, and Nour is truly the most unprofessional provider I have worked with, on so many levels. Nour is disrespectful, uncaring, and is focused first and foremost on profiting from her clients. She charges more than any actual Medical Doctor/Physician I have worked with for the amount of service she provides. She is a nutritionist, NOT a medical doctor. Not only did I not heal from my work with her, I walked away with more stress on my body from repeatedly attempting to receive reimbursement from the month of work that was never provided, yet charged for, as well as from having to continuously deal with her negative energy in general. It was only until I disputed the charge with my credit card company that Nour was willing to reimburse the amount due on my account. Additionally, she was extremely resistant to paying any fees attached to the credit card transaction for reimbursement of the total amount. Her only concern was how this dispute would affect her business status, not about my health, nor making sure I was indeed reimbursed for the total amount owed. In summary, Nour is a fraud who is incapable of taking any accountability for her unscrupulous actions inflicted upon her overly trusting clients.

Two of my co-workers were going to this gym, and both highly recommended it. The gym did an open boot camp session and I went and got to meet some of the people that already go to the gym, and to see the trainers in action. I was highly impressed and new I wanted to sign up for a series of personal training sessions. I have been going now for almost 2 months and my trainer is Sarah. I have not missed a session, and from my past history with personal trainers, this is a true indication of how much I enjoy working out here. Each session Sarah challenges me to do more and my strength, stamina, core and balance areas are all strengthening. Being handicapped, I was worried about keeping up, or not being able to do certain exercises. Sarah customizes training for me, is very patient and continues to encourage me to do more than I think I can. I recommend this gym if you are looking to work with people that are committed to helping you become the best physical self you can be. Joel, Maya and Sarah make you feel like family, and continually encourage you. Additionally the people that come to the gym are always in a good mood and enjoy their time there. It is a positive and encouraging atmosphere that produces results.

The manager took my information to send via text information about pricing, contract terms and conditions, etc. that I asked about when I walked in. I received only pricing information the same day (Wednesday, 6 Sep). I replied via text same day with thanks and asked if Joel was available the following week for the initial assessment and was told that if anything opened up, I'd receive a text (and that another trainer might be available). I responded that I didn't mind waiting for Joel and said the waiting list is fine, but could I get on the schedule for his next available opening -- just to be sure there was something confirmed on the calendar at some point because what if I couldn't make it to a spontaneous opening. I did not hear back. So I followed up via text two days later, Friday, 8 Sep... I kindly reiterated that I'm happy to have my name on a waiting list, but could I also just secure a date for an available time in the future -- even if it's a couple weeks away -- for the peace of mind ... otherwise I'd just consistently have to hope that something might open up and that my schedule would align (a likely challenge!). The manager responded and thanked me for my patience, again saying she'd try to get me in next week and that Joel is booked. AGAIN, I said that I didn't mind waiting, but could I Please. Just. Schedule. A. Known. Open. Slot. (in addition to the waiting list, fine). Once more, the manager either missed or disregarded my point entirely, saying once again that she would try to get me in soon and to be patient. Two and a half weeks later, and I haven't heard back since... Patience wasn't the issue -- I said multiple times that I didn't mind at all to wait (I didn't expect him to be available the next day!); I just wanted to secure a future spot without relying on the hope of a random opening. That's not unreasonable for a person with a full-time job. I spoke with a friend whose experience reflected a similar challenge--said that every week, it was a struggle to get on the trainers' calendars. Seems they've got plenty of business to keep everyone busy, so that's great for them as a small business in a competitive industry, but boy am I disappointed at this approach to business operations and (prospective) customer service. I was excited about picking up my wellness journey here; it's a shame.
