    One of my purchases.

I enjoy looking at resale items especially specific camping items and good old school CD's. A friend and I checked out the place and found a couple of things we most likely didn't need, but still compelled to buy (future hoarders). At the entrance they have a board with what discounts they are running at that time. The place is well lit and the elbow room is great. You don't feel you are going to knock something over. I found that mostly everything I picked up was clearly marked, and displayed nicely, not just thrown on the shelf. They had things nicely arranged, and organized. They had a little bit of everything, but sadly I did not find any fun camping items. They had plenty of room to place large furniture. And it looks like they may hold items for you once you have purchased it, and can make arrangements to pick up later. The place is very clean and doesn't have that musty odor when you stroll through the clothing area. It's a decent size store and has good intentions. TERI, Training, Education, Resource Institute goal is to improve the quality of life for children ad adults with developmental and learning disabilities. Just steps away from the register you will find some beautiful art/craft items crafted by those challenged with developmental disabilities. You should check out, I purchased a couple of pieces, gifted one and kept the other. This stop is located in a strip mall. There is plenty of parking, but it does get quite busy. If you don't have to, I suggest not parking directly in front of the store or you will have a difficult time pulling out due to high traffic.

This is a GORGEOUS SOFA and they deliver ! I am sooo happy with this purchase! thank you terri inspired resale, (& Jocelyn)

This used to be my favorite thrift store, now I won't be going back. The woman working the day I went with my daughter has been there for years, I don't think she's the manager, and she is not friendly. For clarification, she's the older woman, tall with dark poofy-ish hair, always dressed for success., not the shorter more casual woman that I think is the actual manager and whom I think is terrific. Anyhoo, the day we went in was a sale day, I'd gotten an email alert for a flash sale. We shopped, and at one point I asked the woman to clarify the sale and she said there's a sign, to which I said it was hard to decipher, while I'm Thinking that was rude of her to say. Honestly her whole vibe was bitchy. When I went to pay it turns out none of my items were part of the sale, I was confused because the sign said all colored tags, ALL OF THEIR TAGS ARE COLORED! She tells me again, I should read the signs! So I end up p Keeping one shirt and tell my daughter I'll pay for her stuff, assuming at least she got the deals ( she's a very savvy shopper and has been here many times before.) I pay for everything and as I'm leaving I was going over what I just paid in my head and checking the receipt, I paid full price for everything! Meanwhile another woman checking out with a huge amount of clothes seemed to get a discount on everything. So I went back to the counter to ask why it appeared I received no discounts, she again tells me to read the signs. I was over the attitude and so just snapped a few pics of the signs and left. Honestly, I got the impression that she didn't like us the minute we walked in the door with our Covid 19 masks on, we wear them everywhere for several reasons, which really is no one else's business. We are well aware of the looks of disdain we get from others much of the time, I'm not sure why people are so upset by them, but it doesn't matter, I have to wear a mask. That being said, the woman working that day, had the nerve to ask my daughter "what's with the masks ?" Really? Why would you ask a personal question like that? What if my daughter had said "because I have Leukemia and I have to be careful?" After the obvious rude attitude she'd already given, that was just a confirmation that she particularly didn't care for us. Sorry Teri, I used to drop things off, then spend money in the shop, and recommend you to others, not anymore. Sad that one bad apple can spoil the bunch.

Top was $3.50, shorts were $2 and the shoes were 4.99. Whole outfit for about $10!

This is a gem of a thrift store, and me and my daughter's new favorite. Just happened upon this store as I was passing thru and they were having a flash sale - half off on all clothing. I started picking up a few things, and sending pics to my daughter and finally just told her to come in to see for herself. She arrived and we found so many great items- half of which was new with retail tags. Daughter also found two pair of great shoes for $4.99 and $5.99. They look barely worn. The store was fresh and clean and nicely organized. They have two large fitting rooms to try on clothes. The employees were so friendly and helpful. Loved all the jewelry and accessories they have on display. They also have very nice furniture- clean and in good shape. Will be visiting often now that I know about the place.

    They always have amazing deals!

Don't let the size fool you because this place is always packed with amazing finds! From designer purses to quality furniture. They beat most, if not all other thrift sites from orange county to the south, when it comes to quality and price!!!! They associates are pleasant and helpful. The process go to ask amazing cause. The only thing I would change is for them to extend their hours! This place come HIGHLY recommended!!! Since the weather is nice and people are out, make your way up to North County and spend some time at this hidden jem!

6/8/2017 - TERI Inspired Resale - formerly known as Potpourri moved from S Coast Hwy to Mission Ave

*** This store is now at 3772 Mission Ave, Oceanside, CA 92058 - and has been renamed to TERI Inspired Resale *** This is a pretty good shop - I didn't find anything I wanted but the items were fairly nice for a thrift store. Some items were a little pricey (like picture frames that were close to $10 here (about the price of new) would be maybe $5 at the most elsewhere) but other items were reasonably priced. There was a decent selection of used furniture that could be a great start for someone knowledgeable about re-upholstering. Also, there were some nice pieces of affordable art made by TERI clients, at the front of the store. I talked to one of the employees who explained that this is the new location for the thrift store formerly known as Potpourri, that was previous located on S Coast Hwy. This made it a little confusing until I made the phone call, when it looks like this shop is still at the old location. I've submitted a request to Yelp to request that the name & address be changed (note the phone # is still the same)

Completely rude/ racist and homophobic! Was treated like shit while in this store!! Went to counter to checkout and stood on the square and was completely social distancing and the rude bitch working there decided she wanted to be a Karen and was completely out of line when she told me I needed to step back because she was already helping someone that was obviously invisible because I was clearly the one standing in front of the register. I looked at her in confusion as she continued to tell me to step away from the register. I won't spend a penny in that store!!!

I cannot say enough great things about this place. As the mother of two autistic children, I love the work that Teri does with our special needs community. I went on Thursday for their 50% off sale. I scored five shirts, one jacket, a cute taco holder set, two books and a movie for $15! I always enjoy seeing Rose when I stop in. I hadn't been in for a while but she remembered me and asked how my husband was doing (cancer survivor) and how my two girls are. Made me feel so good that she cared. She's the sweetest lady!

While we were browsing, the lady at the front kept hovering over us as if we were trying to steal something. It was obvious enough that we actually started laughing about it. Combined with how incredibly expensive everything was, we decided not to buy anything. We did use the photo booth a couple of times, which has about a 3 and 1/2 minute processing time. While waiting for our photos to print and looking through them together, we sat on the couch. There was no one else in the store, and we weren't being loud, rude, or causing any problems. Despite that, we were rudely told the couch was only for customers trying on clothes. Didn't know the couch was a dressing room. It felt unnecessary considering we were simply waiting for the photos we had just paid for and were about to leave. The store has a cool concept, but the customer service made it feel unwelcoming. Greet every customer with kindness. Not everyone who walks into your store is out to get you.

The selection is incredibly well curated, with the perfect mix of vintage, western wear, and unique accessories. Over the years, my husband has picked up some of his all-time favorite beanies here, and I've found everything from vintage Levi's to a fabulous furry purple jacket that still gets compliments. Every visit feels like a treasure hunt. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the owner is truly one of my favorite people. You can tell how much care and personality goes into the shop. Dina gave me outstanding customer service in which she did not have to. she noticed how bummed I was of breaking the dish I purchased and I hadn't even left the store yet. When I explained to her what I had done, she let me get another Pyrex of the same price or pay the difference if it costed more. I really appreciate her doing that. This really was a kind thing to do on her end. I have given my business to the DAV Veterans Thrift countless times as well as donations through the drive thru out back because I believe in their mission and love to support local businesses doing honest work. Veterans Thrift Store is nicely chaotic. There were a lot of people in the store when I visited during a weekday, so I guess other people like the chaos, too. My kids latched onto the toy section, of which there were lots. The toy section kind of bled out into the shoe section, which bled into the clothing section, which mingled with the home goods. Everything is kind of everywhere here, like I said, which makes discovering treasures a fun experience. Parking is fine, but the spaces are the kinds where they are set up one way, so if you enter from the wrong way, you're kind of screwed and have to back up and come at it from the other side.
