I've been informed of their progress every few weeks and can see that they have been following a dedicated curriculum. One of the most important aspects of their lessons is consistency with the same swim instructor each week. This has allowed them to feel even more comfortable in the water. Several friends have switched to Noonan at my urging and have been happy with the improvements they have seen in their child's swim skills.

I actually scheduled swim lessons for our daughter, Emmy, with Krista before we even moved here! Emmy started lessons when she was 2, continued again the next summer at 3, and this past summer our son Hayes joined in at just 1.5 years old. Krista has such a gift with young children -- she's patient (yet firm), calm, and knows exactly how to make them feel comfortable and confident in the water. We've seen incredible progress each summer. Both kids have not only learned essential water safety skills, but they also love being in the pool now. The peace of mind knowing my young children are safe around water is truly priceless, and it makes living in Southern California (and being around so much water) so much less stressful. It's was made very clear at the beginning that the player must prove their commitment and dedication to the sport. Not the club, the sport. If that means double practice then that's what you do. Many of the girls have gone on to play in the collegiate level, national team, and so forth. Waterpolo is an expensive sport no matter where you play. Seaside is a business and experiences the pressures of the economy just like everyone else. Last minute changes to schedules, games, and tournaments happen to every single club regardless of stature, there's no getting around that. You get what you give, and I don't mean monetarily. They are there to coach, not be your friend and that's exactly what they do. The families we met, the friends we've gained, and the experiences we shared will always have a place in our hearts. The level of coaching and support by Coach H and Seaside will take you as far as you want it to. 3 negative reviews out of the HUNDREDS of players they've embraced and lives they've impacted should not deter a single soul from joining Seaside Water Polo. A friend and I were fishing this morning on the beach in Carlsbad. It was very early with very few…read morepeople on the beach. About 50 girls and the coach jogged by us twice, then they came back towards us and went in the ocean right in front of us. Not sure if their coach realizes this but fishermen use extremely sharp hooks to catch fish. And having the girls suddenly go into the ocean in front of fishermen makes literally no sense when there were miles of open beach space.
