Right away, we just saw Coach Brad teaching ISR, and we were just amazed. Our son picked it up pretty quick and started to love the water and helped us to demystify myths. For example, how using floaties for your kids actually teaches them how to drown faster, which we didn't think about but we learned here. In just six weeks, our toddler loves the water and doesn't need floaties, and now we feel confident that, bringing him to any body of water, he's gonna be good and we're having fun with him. We're so grateful for Coach Brad and the whole ISR team! Highly recommend this to anybody, and we're going to be enrolling our next child in this too.

He was incredibly patient with the boys (even when they were endlessly splashing him) nand really knew how to engage them and keep them comfortable while learning. He was also really funny, and the kids absolutely loved him and looked forward to their swim lessons! He made the lessons fun while still teaching them a lot. With our 6 year old, he helped her build on the skills she already had, refine her technique, and learn new strokes. He did a great job adjusting the lessons to each child's age and ability. Diego was also always on time, easy to communicate with, and great about answering all of our questions. We always felt like we knew how the kids were doing and what they were working on. The kids made huge progress and really took leaps and bounds with their swimming in just six lessons. We were so impressed with how much they improved and how much more confident they became in the water. Diego was patient, encouraging, knowledgeable, and genuinely great with the kids. I was fed up and wanted them to actually learn this skill, so we did a month long intensive with Maria with them each having back to back private lessons for three days a week for a month. At the end of it, they had overcome some VERY profound water fear and could confidently swim across a pool, dive for sinking toys, and jump in/swim to a wall and climb out independently. Fast forward to today, and he's now a swim coach here and absolutely loves it. There's something really special about seeing things come full circle. He remembered his experience here so fondly that he decided to apply for a job, and now he's thriving in a place that once helped him grow and build confidence in the water. The environment here has always been welcoming and family-focused, and it's clear they continue to create positive experiences for both kids and staff. The staff here are very helpful and accommodating. There are security guards on patrol, but they are also very nice and welcoming as long as you don't go over the top with your Instagram pics.

There has got to be something special about the ambiance, landscape, view, and architecture! Let me show you! The place is NOT open to the public unless you have reservations. Parking is free if you can find a spot at the institute. Check in with front and get your access band, and then you are on your merry way to explore and take photos. It is an institute and there are a ton of researchers working - do not disturb the peace as I did. Security be watching folks like a hawk so be mindful and respectful of the rules. I got lost in the architecture and went in the building (curious yet unintentionally) - my bad. And then reescorted back to ground zero. However, at times I felt like I was encapsulated in a scary movie. Quiet, weird building architecture, no people around except a bird here and there. Then It felt so peaceful and you ask yourself "where the heck am I?!" Pictures don't do justice but videos do.
