Usually a HUGE fan, but Teriyaki Madness left a little teriyucki taste in my mouth this time. I stood there completely unacknowledged while two separate groups were served and sent on their merry way. Finally, I asked about the online order I was there to pick up. The response? "I know, it takes time to make food." Totally fair... except how would you know the name on my order if not a single employee acknowledged my existence? Silly me -- I didn't realize you were all mind readers. Hard to tell, given the general lack of ducks in any recognizable row. Then a very nice couple walked in after me, only to be loudly informed by the bowl-assembler that they were out of literally everything and should go somewhere else. Not "sorry," not "we're short tonight," just... yelled at. Bold customer service strategy. I really hope things turn around, because I've been seeing a lot of complaints about the night staff lately, and this definitely tracked. Until we hear otherwise, we won't be back -- especially since apologies don't seem to be on the menu. You definitely nailed the Madness part. read more

In the world of fast casual places, with style-your-own options, Teriyaki Madness, a franchise restaurant, brings a different food genre. Specializing in bowls made with protein and a carb and veggies, the primary protein is chicken, but they also have salmon, steak, and tofu. Choose that, and then your base of rice or noodles. This set up is common in similar places, but as the name suggests, the flavors here are Asian inspired. Most items are gluten free, and bowls can be made vegan. Although the online menu indicates the sauces are msg-free, I'm not entirely sure of that, but I'd have to try again to be sure. I've only stopped a couple of times, but the service has been quick and friendly, although in the opening phase, with the crowds of people and employees crammed into the kitchen, it's sometimes hard to hear your order called. Teriyaki Madness is a cute place with very limited seating, striking me more as a take-out place, on the side of a shopping center building and not easily visible from the main drive through Shiloh Commons. Navigating to it is tricky. There isn't much available parking immediately in front, but if you're willing to walk a short distance, plenty available nearby. If burgers, burritos, or black bean bowls are not calling your name that day, Teriyaki Madness is a good break. read more

Ordered online. Arrived 25 min later and waited an additional fifty minutes in store before leaving without my order. I was not updated on the status an no effort was made to refund or rectify the situation. I'm disgusted with their lack of customer service. Never again. read more

I wasn't expecting much. Just hoping the kids would like it. The spicy teriyaki chicken was good, but over cooked. The veggies were good. The fried rice for some reason was really tasty! The steak meal looked great. They cooked a side of just noodles for my youngest. Which was great. The downside is that the seating is horrible! Basically set up as a grab and go place. The service was decently fast. We will definitely go back here. read more

The food is really good. The problem is the staff. Every time I go in there they will not acknowledge me. The last two times I just turned around and left after standing there for several minutes. If you are lucky enough to be served, it takes forever to get your order. I really wish the service was better. Not sure I will be back. read more

A decent Asian fusion spot with friendly staff and good portions. Love the flavor of their spicy tofu and the option of ordering just veggies with protein. Even with the dining room being incredibly small the food made up for the crowded feeling! We had the chicken breast bowl with veggies and steamed rice and another one with noodles. The potstickers and crab ragoons were amazing! The service was friendly and fast. We will be returning soon! read more

We waited over 30 minutes for our food, even though we placed our order before the rush. During that time, several other customers arrived after us and were served their meals while we continued to wait. Quite frankly, I believe my husband, brother, and I were discriminated against, as the owner personally ensured others received their food while ignoring us. When I asked for a refund, the owner refused to return the full amount and offered only 20% of what we paid. It was only after I complained that our food was finally packaged--despite the fact that we had planned to dine in. The owner saw us sitting and made no effort to address the situation. Instead, he offered just $13 back from our $60 payment. I do not recommend this restaurant. If you are a minority, I would think twice before visiting, as the owner was not welcoming and seemed more interested in taking our money than providing fair service. It's incredibly disappointing--we were excited to try a new place, but unfortunately, this was a very negative experience. read more

My husband and I swung through here in the middle of a road trip from Washington to Illinois. We hadn't eaten anything nutritious and filling for a few days, so this place seemed like it would fit the bill. We were immediately welcomed by Drew, who was exceptionally friendly as he walked us through the menu. I appreciated the variety of options and the portion size was excellent for the price-- I used to pay easily 150% of these prices for teriyaki in the Seattle area. Food was fresh and delicious. It's unlikely we will be returning to this area anytime soon, but I would specifically make a trip here thanks to Drew and his friendly service. read more

Great food and some of the best service in Billings. Not many places have good service anymore so this was really great to experience.
