This franchise must be still working out issues. Tried regular teriyaki chicken bowl and spicy teriyaki chicken bowl. Rice was undercooked on both. Spicy teriyaki chicken was dried out tough cubes almost inedible. Some of regular teriyaki chicken was dried overcooked charred but not all dry. There was not much broccoli in the vegetable mix. I've eaten at another location which was good. Placed mobile order for pickup which was sitting on counter while they took and served walk in patrons. What the ???? This restaurant has so much potential! Japanese food is clearly loved in this area, there are many Japanese restaurants. This is the only one in the 'fast food' genre. Honestly, you'll get better quality food and pay the same amount, maybe less at any of the sit-down restaurants unless you only order sushi. I do not know how or how the staff are trained to cook here, but there is a severe need to up their game in this respect. I mean, wow!! Teriyaki Salmon looked as those it has been boiled or steamed, until it was cooked to hardness. I broke the plastic fork available trying to break off a peice. Folks, this is beyond overcooked. Salmon is so much taster barely cooked to doneness, and just the word teriyaki implies cooking by broiling, grilling or even frying at minimum. Not in water. Just. NO. 'Teriyaki Salmon' is not boiled salmon with a little bit of teriyaki sauce drizzled on top. Next: the veggies - half cabbage and ?onion?, half half-cooked and crunchy broccoli, bagged julienned carrot, and a couple round slices of zucchini - steamed and very faintly looking like there had been some contact with teriyaki sauce. Again, no grilling, broiling, or frying at all. Nada. Lots of water. Now, let's review how that cabbage was cut. Apparently at the restaurant there. Hacked into 1/2" long, very very long strips. Artlessly. Rather inedible even for someone who kinda likes cabbage. The appearance of this cabbage threw the whole "dish" off. Just a bunch of half cooked veggies and way overcooked fish that had had some exposure to teriyaki. Kinda like exposure to COVID, where you're not quite sure if you really have it or not. It is healthy. But presented in the most unappetizing (dare we say, disgusting?) manner - simply due to lack of handiness with a knife (to chop) and cooking skills. Likely little no management. Uew! Food is okay but drenched in a pre-made sauce of your choosing to flavor the meal/bowl. The sauces are pretty good but like most Asian sauces, have lots of oil along with the flavor. This is my first visit although I've eaten next door often and never gave notice to this places sign as it gets lost in between the Jersey Mike's blue and red color sign and a bright white on the other side of this place. I came here because I wanted a more healthy lunch and that means lots of veggies. I was pleased to see the menu offered a "all veggies" option, but only after you are forced to select one of the meat options. I asked about getting just veggies and was told it's not an option but I could ask to have extra veggies instead of a lot of noodles or rice. Having no option to just have the all veggies in the bowl without paying for meat I don't get and not getting the bowl full of veggies as I preferred, I selected the chicken as step 1 on the menu and all veggies as step 2. Then I was offered either noodles or rice, so I selected noodles. Sadly I didn't receive the bowl of mostly veggies, instead I got a bowl of most noodles with a decent amount of chicken and very little veggies. A bit unhappy, I brought the bowl to the ordering counter and asked why my request for mostly veggies or even the "all veggies" that's advertised on the menu and I was told the way I received my order was the way it comes because everything is weighed out, including the pre-packaged noodles. To understand the lack of customer choice you need to understand this is a franchise and the franchise owner is mostly powerless to make any change. But as a customer I have power to choose where I eat and what I eat. It will never be this franchise again! I wasted my money as 98% of the noodles I was given I didn't eat. That is far too much noodles of no value except to fill my stomach with a very low cost flour product drenched in a fat and oil ladden sauce. I got less veggies in the "all veggies" option than even Chinese takeout give. If you like lots of calories and just want to feel bloated, this is a good place to eat. The food is okay. Omg I used to rather all the time when they had locations in the Dallas area. Sadly they closed down out the blue. I don't know why. But on my roadtrip up north I looked over and saw one open and had to pull over to order some food. And it's just as good as when I used to eat it I. Texas. Thank you for being open and available along my trip. Plus the staff was very friendly and patient. I plan to stop here on my way back as well! I highly recommend! Mother and I went to Teriyaki Madness tonight because we were craving it, haven't had it in a while and the last time we had it, it was very good. I placed our order, went to pick it up and took it home to eat and let me tell you I've never been so sick in my life. The first bite we took, it tasted off, ate 2-3 more bites and it was just gross. Needless to say my mom and I both got food poisoning from this place. I definitely do not recommend eating here! This place has gone downhill so fast. read more

So a 5 hr drive for Spicy Chicken Terriaki sounds like madness but the drive with my love and her uncle was kinda the point. It was worth the drive. The right amount of spice with the Terriaki kick. The chicken is just the right firm and tender. The fried rice and vegetables are the right way to go for me but you can order it your way if you like. Overall I would like one in Buffalo or challenge one of my local favorites to get the recipe. read more

I went in with High Hopes. I ordered a veggie bowl with noodles. I would say it's just OK. The flavor was good BUT, you better love cabbage because that is the main vegetable that they put in it. The pictures in the restaurant show plenty of broccoli, zucchini and carrots. My bowel has a ton of cabbage. Two pieces of broccoli and about 5 slices of zucchini. Some scattered carrots. Cabbage is cheaper then green veggies. For almost $8 for a regular size, I'd like to see more of the other veggies and less cabbage. read more

The chicken was fairly good, but the fried rice I got with it had a disgusting strong fishy taste to it and the vegetables didn't seem that fresh. Brother and cousin who both worked there some time ago claim that it's likely due to not properly cleaning/swapping out pans as that was a regular thing while they worked there. read more

I became obsessed with Teriyaki Madness during some time spent in NC. Literally, everything I had tried was delicious. So I was bummed when I left.. as this area had nothing comparable... until now! And I couldn't be happier! Living in such a small town, you get tired off eating the same thing over and over. So its nice that we have something new... and delicious. I always get the chicken breast, you can literally never go wrong with that option... as well as one of their side salads. Their edamame is delicious too. Went for lunch today as it was the last day for the $5 chicken teriyaki. The chicken was delicious, however, the stir-fried veggies neither looked or tasted as such. My other complaint was the $1.99 price tag for a frozen egg roll. I can get those at any grocery store. First, I will say, this is a review based on placing a pickup order through Door Dash during this COVID Pandemic and social distancing measures. The first complaint is when I placed the order, I was told the order was ready for pickup at a specific time. I arrived 15 minutes after that specified time and was told that they were still working on my order. While waiting 45 minutes in the restaurant, I observed the following: 1. The girl at the register went into the kitchen several times, worked the register, handled people's orders, went outside several times and never once washed her hands or even use gloves. 2. They are to be open for pickup only but there were so many people in the restaurant that social distancing was not possible. 3. I watched a lady place an order at the register and then received her order before the order I called in from home, at this point which was about an hour earlier. That is when I decided to leave, figuring they either lost my order or they would get to it when they feel like. it. They may have good food and they might not. I'll never know because I never got to try it and probably never will. My review is based entirely on CUSTOMER SERVICE. My advice is to be honest about the time it takes to have the order ready. Customers should not have to come and wait 30 minutes or more for an order that was already supposed to be done. Second, learn to practice safe and sanitary food handling procedures. What I saw, I would not feel safe eating there during this pandemic or during normal times. read more
