    Teriyaki Chicken Teriyaki Bowl
    Shanna G.

The service was an easy 5 star. Staff is super friendly and was extremely helpful. It was my first time visiting and the cashier took the time to ask me questions and help me choose the perfect dish for my preferences. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl with white rice, veggies and a spring roll. The chicken had several charred spots which made it a little dry. The spring roll was not crisp but rather soft. It was stuffed full of veggies but the texture was more soggy than I prefer. It really had no taste. I thought there would be broccoli in the veggie mix but mine was all cabbage and carrots. And they had zero seasoning. The teriyaki sauce was delicious. I like a lot of sauce so next time I will be asking for additional sauce. The rice was cooked perfectly. The restaurant was clean and bright with plenty of space to sit and enjoy your meal. I will be back to try more items. It's a nice option for a quick lunch.

We came in later in the evening and split a Large Spicy Chicken Bowl ($12.09) with Yakisoba Noodle Style (+$2.49) and Veggies. They didn't kick us out when they starting closing (turned off sign, etc) but let us eat in the dining area with the other late evening diners. The "spicy" chicken still isn't very spicy so yet again we augmented our bowl with some nice sriracha (THAT made it a spicy bowl!).

The food was deliveres via Foodsby. Still warm when it arrived. Opening the lid I was pleasantly surpised by the aroma coming from the food. The chicken smells and tastes like ot was fresh off the grill. I asked for extra spicy in the terriyaki chicken and it has just the right amount of kick. Would recommend!

Ordered 2 jr bowls and 2 protein bowls. I feel like $12 for the protein bowl was not worth it. Very little meat, lots and lots of rice and good amount of veggies. The jr bowls had good amount of chicken but chicken was all burnt all blacken the kids did not enjoyed it. I asked for the teriyaki sauce on the side which I'm glad I did. I think the beef is already been cooked in teriyaki sauce so it's very sweet. Everything is precooked so I don't know why the wait was so long and I was the only customer! Can't imagine what the wait would be if they had few additional orders. Gave 3 stars because the service was good Rice was good and the veggies were cooked al dente Macaroni salad was ok, too pricey for a sauce cup portion $1.99

Yakisoba with teriyaki grilled chicken breast, and added on 3oz katsu chicken. Delicious!!

Very good but i think they should definitely add shrimp to the menu. Wait was not to long. The design and website is creative.

The location is convenient, the parking lot is stress-free, and the bathrooms were spotless, as far as I could tell after those beers. The atmosphere is fantastic, especially for Vikings fans. Busy when it should be, lively without feeling like you're spooning the person next to you. As for the food, the drunken wings, homestyle wings, ranch, and garlic sauce are the MVPs. The margarita wood-fired pizza was good too. Everything was solid, but nothing quite reached the "text your ex and tell them you've found true happiness" level. Overall: good food, good service, great atmosphere, clean facility, and good value.

I shared the loaded fries, onion rings, and boneless chicken wings served with ranch and habanero sauce. The chicken wings were my favorite. They had a tasty dry rub on it. I thought the habanero sauce was tame, but tasted great. The fries could have used more seasoning and meat. I actually didn't even realize there was meat in the dish until digging through it. The onion rings were crunch and flavorful. Personally, next time I'd pass ok the loaded fries. I do commend this establishment on their management. I did experience a problem during my meal. A server accidentally dropped a few sides of ranch while delivering the meals, and it landed down the back of my jacket. They not only covered the dry cleaning bill, but also covered the cost of the jacket when the stain did not completely come out. It's the care like this that I will remember and keep me coming back.

Also the chipotle chicken bowl is phenomenal. Their fries are homemade and are amazing. And I always order their chicken wild rice soup. It is the best. My husband always orders one of their burgers and he said they are always good. Mostly great service but lately have had a number of bad servers in a row. Not sure what is going on there but we had one server (Princess) which was pretty close to the worse service we've ever had. Was extremely rude, didn't refill sodas, and we practically had to beg her for the check. Buy other than bad service a few times and one bad menu item I'd say this place is hands down our favorite restaurant in Woodbury.

Bartenders were very nice and quick, ensuring that everyone had something to drink. I thought it was nice how the bartenders were interacting with us about sports and other fun interests, which meant that they were attentive! It was also very nice how one of the bartenders noticed I was finished with my drink and replaced it with an iced water. Once we had our party members, we were seated and were given menus. One thing I noticed was that our server ignored me and asked the rest of the table (who happened to be men) what they would like to drink. It seemed that anytime I was trying to say I would like a water, I was immediately dismissed. This happened more than once, which made the experience feel a little awkward. Since we were waiting on one more party members (who unfortunately couldn't make it at the end) maybe our server was waiting for him to be seated before taking our order? But it took her a full 20-30minutes for her to take our food orders, while I was still without a drink. I had to ask for water while making my food order. Bartending service was very nice. But table service was a bit of a disappointment. Food-wise it was alright, but nothing out of the ordinary that would make me want to come back. The inside was pretty nice though, with casual dining spaces. Unfortunately I'm not sure if I'd come back anytime soon though.

I went with a jambalaya-style dish loaded with grilled chicken, plump shrimp, and andouille sausage over a bed of well-seasoned rice, all topped with a chunky tomato and pepper mixture and a scatter of fresh herbs. The portion was generous, and every component was cooked perfectly - the shrimp were tender, not rubbery, and the sausage had a nice char to it. A squeeze of the lemon they served on the side brightened the whole dish up even more. Service was easygoing and attentive without hovering, and the pacing of the meal felt just right. Hazelwood strikes a great balance of comfort food done with real care, and it's clear they take pride in what comes out of that kitchen. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a cozy, reliable spot in Minneapolis.
