Very poor excuse but they said someone will get of hold of me, they called back just to ask if I wanted to reschedule because either way the problem was not get resolved today. He hasn't even show up to my front door and he was already to tell me he can't help me. Called the company back to ask to have someone else to come over, the lady I got transferred to was so defensive she wouldn't even let me speak. Very poor customer service! Great Value I had a spider problem inside and outside my house. I contacted several pest control services in the Salem area and the prices were outrageous. Like 600$ for the initial treatment, no thanks. So glad I checked out the Terminix website. Initial cost was 129$ and they come back out quarterly for 99$. I had them initially treat the inside and outside of my house. Saw a huge improvement with a few days. Since then they have been out to treat the outside. When I first moved into my place I could not even go outside and enjoy the deck because there were disgusting spiderwebs EVERYWHERE. Now it's nice and clear and not a spider to be found. I made an appointment for an estimate. The window was two hours. They never showed up. I called and the employee said they were sent to Oakland, and he would be another hour or two. I was frustrated because they didn't bother calling me to tell me they needed to reschedule. I told him politely not to bother, because I'm going to go with a more reliable company. I need a pest inspection (WDIR) completed for my VA refi. I initially reached out July 7th and it is now July 22nd with no call backs, inspectors no call/no show, "disconnected" calls -3+ hang ups, different excuses/reasons each call with over 5 representatives and I am no further along than I was at the beginning of the month. I have been promised multiple callbacks from supervisors and I have still received nothing. This is me a (new customer) wanting a service and not getting it. How many other people are going through this?? Why are they the only company so far to have this license? I am on the verge of cancelling my refi due to the absurdity of having to get this freaking inspection required by the VA in Oregon. All the other bug places I've called do not have the license to do this inspection and so far it's only Terminix. In all of my 34 years of life and 15+ years in customer service, this is the worse Customer Service I have ever gotten!! This issue has delayed my refi by over two weeks which has added way more stress. My Mortgage Broker has even been calling on my behalf as this has been the last thing needed and he has gotten unfulfilled promises of of callbacks the past few weeks as well. I would give them zero stars if I could. Please trust me on this one! We invested in a two year service and I couldn't be more disappointed. I feel like I wasted my money. The communication is horrible. No one calls back when I leave a message. They show up to do work without the right equipment. They cancel on you. They don't show up. They leave a mess when they do their work. We still have the rodents we started with!!!!! I would love to get my money back or have used another company. I would actually like to pursue legal action. I'm out a good chunk of money for services they never provided. I know it's too late and I'm out of luck, but I'm just writing this in case one person might think twice. Use another company. This branch has become a nightmare for me. When I had them in Oklahoma the lady servicing our house was fantastic. When we had rodent issues pop up, this was our first choice. I'm regretting ever contacting them at this point. I called and made an appointment for the free inspection. They set me up for 9/30/2019. I got a text from the guy that does the inspections saying he was out of town that day and could I reschedule for 10/4. I asked if he could be sooner because our problem has exploded, he said he could do 10/1 between 3-5pm. So, 445pm rolls around and I sent him a text asking if he was still coming. I got the response he was told not to because my house was being painted. Well, my house isn't being painted, he had gotten the wrong customer and rescheduled for 10/4. The inspection went okay and I signed the contract. I was told I'd get a call to schedule the first treatment the next week. The next week rolls around, and things go downhill real fast. I got a call from an unmarked number in TN, they didn't say who they were and completely butchered my name, so I thought it was a spam call. I looked up the number, called back and left a vm saying I still needed service and to call back to set up a time. No one called me back. I called the 800 number on Thursday morning asking about my service, they had scheduled me for a day I wasn't even going to be home. She said she would contact the local branch and reschedule and I'd get a call back that day. 5 o'clock rolls around, still no contact. Call back to the national line. I was on the phone for 24 minutes, 20 of it on hold. After the being hold I was told I would be transferred to the local branch. I get transferred to a vm that wasn't branded, just "leave your name and number." On to call 3. Get told that if I didn't get service on Tuesday they didn't have another appointment until the week after. At this point, I asked (not in a nice way, but not unprofessional way either) to cancel. The cancellation dept was closed, but I was told I was removed from the schedule and I'd get an email stating my never used contact was canceled. Instead I got a call on Sunday saying that my house would be serviced on Monday morning. I've already moved on to another service. There is zero communication between the national hotline, local branches, and the customer. This branch (Oklahoma was great) and national hotline are horrible. The only reason Terminix is getting 1 star is because I can not give them zero. After finding termites in an old railroad tie that was in the landscaping outside of my house, I called for an inspection of the house. The Terminix rep came by, inspected the railroad tie, crawled under the house for a while, and then went over his "findings". He claimed I had "no current activity, but previous damage/signs of activity." He recommended a full house treatment (nearly $2000), and then ongoing regular service (about $40 a month). I called two other companies for their opinions, the second being Orkin. The instant the local Orkin rep saw the railroad tie, he stated that those were NOT the same type of termites that enter and damage homes. He crawled under the house and found NO damage or signs of previous termite activity. I then showed him the Terminix report with a drawing of the area with "damage". The Orkin rep went back under the house and double checked the area...no damage/signs found. I can not say what I would like to about how I feel about Terminix. I STRONGLY recommend you at least call Orkin, and maybe even somebody else before going with any treatment Terminix suggests. read more

Sounds like more of the same bad news. 1. Called and scheduled an appointment ( I am a renter ) 2. Was given a four hour window. Did not show up 3. Called, was put on hold for 12 minutes, hung up on 4. Called again, on hold 15 minutes, was told local rep would call me 5. 1 Hour later local rep called, insisted I didn't schedule an appointment, only a consultation. Apparently this makes it ok to not show up, even though it was in fact an appointment. 6. Finally arrived, acted like he was doing me a favor, insisted on long term contract, of which I said no. I then had him talk to the owner on the phone, who he argued with. 7. It gets worse, but who cares. Was asked to leave. Then called Orkin. Another mistake, read review. 8. Terminus continues to disappoint me. Our insulation job was just plain and simple "sloppy". After returning to complete the attic area that they skipped over i fine out months later when we had our furnace maintenance performed that they had created a fire hazard. My mom signed a contract with these people and had a appt on Tues July 29th for a time between 12-3 to have some work done. .....no call, no show. She called the office and person said they'll be there that day but couldn't say when, she even called the corporate number to complain, nothing happened. She made another appt for the following day......no1 showed up. No1 called her to say they were running late or anything. She then called the office again and told them she wanted her money back for the service she never received and for the rest of the contract up to 2016. I called Terminix because I had a skunk under my house and wood rats in my attic. Tom Thomes responded quickly came out and did an inspection and gave me a quote. Geoff Miller removed all evidence of infestation and replaced all of my insulation with new high-quality insulation. He worked with my insurance company and in spite of ice and snow managed to get the work accomplished in a timely manner. The inspector said he had done an excellent job.
