He answered any questions that I had, inspected ALL the traps around my home...there were two that we couldn't find but I know that they will be taken care of next time as I now know where they are. Cancelled doctor appts twice ( senior, doctors appts quite often. Called the 800 number, and the customer service rep told me I was rescheduled for later on this month, but nothing on the customer website. Fast to take your money, then slow to get here. I have had service with Terminix for about 3 years, and everything was fine and had the perfect Tech. The Tech was changed, and the service went downhill from there. My Tech has not responded to any of my calls or text messages in 2 months. I called to report my issues and was advised that a supervisor would call me back the next day, no call so I called back 2 days later. I was advised that a supervisor would call me on Monday - UNSATISFACTORY.... I was never asked if I would like a new Tech either. The best person to speak with and who was understanding was the person that canceled my contract. I rather go online and get my own pest control and do it myself... I gave it the old college try. I have had Terminix for a year. Our tech is a seasoned professional who chooses not to spray in our home, despite knowing our persistent problem. I have heard "it takes time to resolve the issue, it's unseasonably wet, etc, etc". Context - I have been a homeowner for decades. And the photo is over a week after the service. I had some massive and not massive bugs right after the service, which the company says should be expected, so I didn't complain or post pics of them. Also, I spent a great deal of money to eliminate all the beautiful ivy from my home and added a layer of rock around the foundation of the home to get rid of any woody haven that bugs love to give Terminix a hand. This is over a week later. I'm paying them big money and still have to deal with these nasty guys (I know, they kill the other bugs, but quite frankly, I'd rather deal with the others than be confronted with these horrid creatures). I no longer live in Trenton, but I want to give a shout out to the three technicians who took care of me while I lived there: Stan, Hopeton and Amr. You all did a fantastic job. Stan especially, as he ventured into my 100-degree plus attic many times over the years, to put down mouse traps. Always wore long sleeve shirts as required. That had to be rough. Hopeton and Amr were my technicians near the end of my time in Trenton and they were also terrific. All three were attentive and thorough. I'm not sure that Terminix treats its technicians as well as they should. I wanted to let you know I truly appreciated your service. I'm dismayed to see so many negative reviews here - however, there are many positive ones on Google. I was billed on a quarterly basis and not on autopay. I always paid, so no problems. They came out and i wasnt aware that the contract was for all pests and we only had a rat issue. Paid $266. The came out once...no bait trap. The guy gave us a few shots of sprays and that was it. Absolute liars and cheats. Spent $1200, then hardly show up for pest removal, charged $213 for a renewal when I was told it'd be just $80 and again don't show up for removal. Home has several dead mice I had to remove myself. Kept calling them to dispute the renewal, but no one ever calls back or takes any action. Called them to come and do a pest removal, customer rep said he will setup an appointment 2-3 weeks out and actually never did. Called back in 3 weeks and now waiting for yet more time. Their turnaround time is 4-5 days just to setup an appointment. So you'll have dead mice in your home for atleast that time. Can you accept that after paying $1200? Worst possible service you can hope for. Stay away. read more

Absolutely awful customer service and financing. I have termites back again a couple of months after spending thousands on a contract. I have tried - unsuccessfully - at least 6 times over the past few weeks to contact anyone in the USA who can speak English. Each time it was over an hour on hold or leaving a voicemail that wouldn't be returned. I finally reached a live US based person by stating that I wanted to cancel my contract in their horrible voice response system. It has gone nowhere of course. Called yesterday about a problem, had inspector by the name of Bill P(can't remember last name) come out, said he saw a problems and could only schedule a treatment if he was paid in full. Gave CC#. Called 9pm, said to be home to let service tech in between 8-10 window frame. Ignored 3 of my phone calls, and 3 of my texts and did not get back to me until almost an HOUR past the last hour window (10am) to say "sorry, we can't get someone out there until the 1-3pm window" All of our things are an hour away at a family's, had 5 month old with me. Service tech calls and said he can't spray until he's paid in full, explained to him paid in full the day before, in PERSON. Finally comes out, says he doesn't see any activity at all, but sprayed anyway. Save your time, money, and unnecessary aggravation... call a DIFFERENT, more professional company! read more

Same opinion as the other reviewers: not happy. 1. They offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee, which they don't actually honor. 2. They'll make an "appointment" for a two hour window, but show up whenever they get around to you. Maybe they'll respond to your calls, maybe not. After two such events, I cancelled my service. 3. They PROMISED the chemicals used are safe for pets, birds, and pollinators. So I hired them. The first time, they used chemicals that are comparatively safe, based on my research. Yesterday (hours after the scheduled appointment, after I'd already gone back to work,) they sprayed down my property with imidacloprid. It's HIGHLY toxic to honeybees and house sparrow, among other wildlife. We've already found one dead sparrow, poor guy :( 4. I contacted customer service and the response was, essentially, "Uh, huh. Terminix again did not show up for an scheduled appointment. I had an e-mail confirmation that they would be there. They constantly set up appointments without checking to see if it is okay. Then they just show up! I have refused many technicians because there wasn't an agreed upon appointment. Today my husband left work early to be here and again a no show. We pay high fees for this terrible service, and you cannot contact the local office. I had an off shore customer service person today that put me on hold for a long period of time, and came back on saying that she apologized!! That is just not good enough. Terminix front-office people should be arrested for negligence/incompetence! On Saturday (11/10) I contracted to have Terminix do a job at my home. However, I placed a call to their 800 number that same day to CANCEL the contract. On Tuesday (11/13) morning I placed another call to their 800 number, just to be sure that my cancellation (called in on Saturday) went through. My cancellation had NOT BEEN SUBMITTED as a cancellation. Well, while on the phone with this (the second) person, I AGAIN requested the cancellation. I was assured that the request would go through, and that I would receive an email to that affect within minutes. When after 2 hours, no email arrived, I made a THIRD call to their 800 number. This time, I was told that my initial cancellation request (made on 11/10) had been written-up as a "request for change of date for having the service done". They definitely had no intention of cancelling me! They wanted to keep my $757 that had been posted to my account! This third office person also told me that my second call to their office had not been submitted for action. I guess it was just lying around, someplace. I really needed to have the cancellation go into effect before 3 business days had expired. It seems that Terminix was intentionally delaying my request for cancellation of services so I would be extended beyond the 3 days. Anyway, this 3rd office person assured me that she will get things moving right away. She sounded sincere. But, so did the previous 2 persons that I had spoken with at Terminix. Time will tell. My conclusion...AVOID TERMINIX LIKE THE PLAGUE! read more
