Anywho, we came in with a 10 min wait, the young host was not friendly or kind at all. The young lady that walked us back to our table didn't even make eye contact with us Right away I was like oh there's the 3 stars. We got sat in Hailey's section. I'm so glad we did. Hailey greeted us as soon as we sat down with a friendly smile. We Informed Hailey it was our first time and we needed some time to order. Hailey went over the menu with us gave us some suggestions and was genuinely curious asking questions on what we might enjoy. We took Hailey suggestion and ordered the Filet Medallions with veggies and sweet potatoes. 10/10 recommended! We also ordered the chicken and Filet combo. Pleasantly surprised the chicken was not dry! The mashed potatoes were so good nice and fresh! The ribs needed to be recooked and Hailey was so sweet about us sharing how they were over cooked. She didn't make us feel bad for reordering new ones. She apologized and brought us new ones and those in fact did fall off the bone! Overall the vibes were busy in the restaurant but, Hailey's genuine personality, friendly smile and gracious suggestions made this visit worth while! Because of her we rate this location 5/5 starts!

First of all, the rolls that they bring to the table as they seat you are dangerous good. You can easily get full off of these without realizing it because they are not stingy with these things. Soft, chewy and slightly sweet, and even better with the apple butter it comes with. Secondly, for the money, the food is very good. My smokehouse burger was excellent, full of cheeses mushrooms, and onions. It was huge but I wanted more. The steak fries were pretty good as well. My wife had a filet that would be triple the price at a fancy steakhouse, but to be honest, this one was every bit as good. This is the only one I've ever been to, so I don't know if the service is this good at all of them, but the waitstaff was awesome. The place was packed and food and drinks came out quick and right when you needed it. They were super friendly no matter which employee you came across. I did notice they really pack the folks in here, so to be honest, I felt a bit cramped, but the food and the service definitely made up for it. If I lived closer to one I'd definitely put it on the rotation. I will not complain if anyone suggested going here either. If you want a good tasting and quality steakhouse meal, you cannot beat the value here. It is hands down the best chain steakhouse I've ever been to.

When we called ahead, no one mentioned they were only serving a limited St. Patrick's Day menu today. Nothing from the regular menu was available. My daughter ended up eating plain fries the whole time because there wasn't a single kid-appropriate option. It felt misleading after being told it's family-friendly when we called prior to coming. The place was packed. The line was out the door, and we had a long wait. Inside was uncomfortably hot and stuffy too. I was eyeing the Cottage Pie but asked the server about peas (not a fan), and she said it might have a lot, so I passed. My wife ordered it instead since she doesn't mind peas and surprise, zero peas in it. She said it was just okay, nothing special, so I guess I didn't miss out. I went with the Irish Nachos instead. They were fine, but the house-made potato chips were underwhelming. Crispy but not flavorful. The standout was the lemon pepper wings. Those were actually really good. Green beer was a fun thematic touch too. Atmosphere is lively for the holiday, but for a regular visit or even future St. Patrick's Day? Probably not coming back. If you're planning to go on the big day, brace for crowds and waits. And for fun, here's a limerick summing it up: There once was a pub in Upland so grand, For St. Paddy's we joined hand in hand. But the menu was slim, Kid options were grim, Just fries for our lass, what a bland! The heat made us sweat, lines out the door, Cottage Pie? "Peas maybe." We weren't sure. No peas in the end, Wife said "meh" my friend, Nachos were fine, wings we adored. Green beer was cool, but that's all the cheer, Average at best, won't return here. Three stars is the call, For the holiday thrall. Fun once, but not every year!

It's hidden in between the East and West food courts, making its entrance nondescript, that many of my classmates are surprised to hear that there's a pub on campus. Back then, it was always bustling with students during the day and packed during sports games in the evening. The stoner tots were always a must-order. They have a lot of good craft beers on tap. I've shared countless of pitchers of IPA or cider throughout my visits. It's definitely changed drastically since the pandemic. The atmosphere is lacking. Not packed at all. Hours are a little weird. In the past 2 years, each time I've visited, it's been emptier and emptier. There will only be 2 groups there besides my own. And I feel like I have to call every time I want to stop by because I'm not sure if it's open. Prices for pints and food are up (pints are a better deal always unless it's happy hour). The revamped food menu doesn't seem appealing either. The new staff isn't as friendly (maybe they don't employ students anymore?) There was a lady whose attitude was a bit condescending and off-putting. I'll still pop in whenever I'm on campus for nostalgic reasons, but it's not the same anymore.

We sat outside and the ambiance (both inside and outside) were nice. The outside was definitely a lot quieter than inside, and the server next to us even offered to turn on the heaters (though not needed). I enjoyed being outside. We started off with appetizers which included grilled octopus and oysters. Although, even though they were on ice, the oysters weren't cold enough for me. Still, we downed them with the fresh horseradish and cocktail sauce and just prayed about it later lol. My family liked the grill octopus. It was tender and had a very smokey char flavor but if I'm being honest, it was not MY favorite so I probably would not personally order again. Even my mom said she thought it was "just alright." I ordered the Branzino and it lacked in flavor. I was not a fan of the green sauce it had on the side. It was not completely terrible, but not great either. It was cooked well and crispy, but that's all I can say for it as even Tabasco didn't make it great. The best thing of the night was probably the lamb chops and the cheese ravioli. They were both cooked well & tasted great so if I were to come back Id stick to pasta and that. The lychee mocktails & their ricotta cheesecake were probably my favorite things on the menu. The tart was decent. Our waiter was slow at times and kept either forgetting certain drinks or what we asked of him or the kitchen was just slower than usual. I'm not sure which, but service wasn't on par with the price point in my opinion. Luckily we were pretty relaxed, but my mom had finished her food by the time her wine arrived. Overall, it was an ok night. My family at least had fun and enjoyed their time there. The food was presented nicely, and service was OK as a whole but I'm not sure I'd come back on my own accord again. Definitely nice to say I've visited & tried it out at least once though!
