The service is usually really great. This time however, I'm having to report a concern. A waitress we started talking to that had a limp like mine had just gotten hurt at work the night before! She told us it was late and pretty big party but there was a sill and she fell back and food went everywhere! She explained she was only around the bus boys who are so young of course it's common to laugh it off but later it hurt really bad. She couldn't sleep and I've been there !!! I urged her talk to her manager and go directly to urgent care. Truth is her mananger should have send her last night. I spoke to a manager Helena about it only because the girl was so young. I imagine my daughter in this situation. So....the momma bear came out in me. I asked Helena to keep her eye on Kailey hoping she would be concerned or keep an eye out... she gave me an eye alright... and then rolled her eyes and said " she's fine" it's a little small scrape she's fine" then she looks over to Kailey's direction with an annoyed look. Poor Kailey. No wonder she didn't go in to be seen and now has a limp as she tries to get through her shift. We gotta take care of our people that take care of us. I expected better from Roadhouse restaurant as a company. My sister worked for them in Texas and loved it. She was never treated like this. I hope it's not a California thing. Please Texas Roadhouse, take care of your people. Follow labor codes for this area and the law really. I hope this can alert us to pay attention to the people who serve us.

The menu is on the smaller side, but the food is surprisingly good simple dishes done well, with that cozy pub comfort you hope for. When we called ahead, no one mentioned they were only serving a limited St. Patrick's Day menu today. Nothing from the regular menu was available. My daughter ended up eating plain fries the whole time because there wasn't a single kid-appropriate option. It felt misleading after being told it's family-friendly when we called prior to coming. The place was packed. The line was out the door, and we had a long wait. Inside was uncomfortably hot and stuffy too. I was eyeing the Cottage Pie but asked the server about peas (not a fan), and she said it might have a lot, so I passed. My wife ordered it instead since she doesn't mind peas and surprise, zero peas in it. She said it was just okay, nothing special, so I guess I didn't miss out. I went with the Irish Nachos instead. They were fine, but the house-made potato chips were underwhelming. Crispy but not flavorful. The standout was the lemon pepper wings. Those were actually really good. Green beer was a fun thematic touch too. Atmosphere is lively for the holiday, but for a regular visit or even future St. Patrick's Day? Probably not coming back. If you're planning to go on the big day, brace for crowds and waits. And for fun, here's a limerick summing it up: There once was a pub in Upland so grand, For St. Paddy's we joined hand in hand. But the menu was slim, Kid options were grim, Just fries for our lass, what a bland! The heat made us sweat, lines out the door, Cottage Pie? "Peas maybe." We weren't sure. No peas in the end, Wife said "meh" my friend, Nachos were fine, wings we adored. Green beer was cool, but that's all the cheer, Average at best, won't return here. Three stars is the call, For the holiday thrall. Fun once, but not every year!

I was so glad that I decided on this restaurant. During lunch there weren't a ton of people in the restaurant luckily but the food was great. It hit the spot. Laura, our server took the time to socialize with us and get to know us and we learned a little bit about the spot that she had been working there for 18 years and overall honestly, the food was 10 out of 10. We ordered a set of 10 boneless wings and 10 traditional wings with the potato wedges and a couple drinks. The service was fast. The place was clean and we have an overall really great experience. Will definitely be back again especially my husband who watches sports a ton is planning to take our boys back here for a game or two in the near future.

Let me tell you, it's not. It's a stalk-like-a-hawk situation where you literally hover behind the people you think are leaving, and if you're wrong and someone else is at those seats, the bartenders are going to let them have those seats, even if they showed up after you. A different couple who showed up after them even asked someone in the middle of eating to move seats so they could sit together because they weren't allowed to move the open seats next to each other. The arrangements were getting so messy that Danny (I think a barback?) was trying to create some organization, but the number of people showing up and waiting was too much for one person, so he apologized to us because he witnessed both groups (who arrived after my friend and I get seats), and we were still waiting for the initial person we thought was leaving to leave. After 15 mins of answering emails and holding the two seats on each side of them, a bartender asked them to move to the cocktail lounge, and they'd bring any future drink orders to them there. The seating situation was so bad, that the hostesses, idle staff members, my friend and I were talking crap about how disorganized the situation was and how aggressive the guests were. They mentioned that this arrangement just started about two weeks ago (now, three by the time I write this). After 30 mins of waiting to sit, I can tell you that this food isn't worth it. The drinks are good, the lobster bisque was incredible, but then, the final course, the steak we ordered was room temperature, had no flavor other than being over-salted, had a lot of fat, and was mediocre at best. Something you could make at home, and honestly, probably better. Lessons of coming here, come alone, be aggressive if there are open seats, and be ready to drink because multiple bartenders asked if we wanted more drinks through and after our meal. From what I can put together from conversations around us is that this is a place you come to if you have comps if you're a rewards member, or you're trying to impress your date before a show.

It's hidden in between the East and West food courts, making its entrance nondescript, that many of my classmates are surprised to hear that there's a pub on campus. Back then, it was always bustling with students during the day and packed during sports games in the evening. The stoner tots were always a must-order. They have a lot of good craft beers on tap. I've shared countless of pitchers of IPA or cider throughout my visits. It's definitely changed drastically since the pandemic. The atmosphere is lacking. Not packed at all. Hours are a little weird. In the past 2 years, each time I've visited, it's been emptier and emptier. There will only be 2 groups there besides my own. And I feel like I have to call every time I want to stop by because I'm not sure if it's open. Prices for pints and food are up (pints are a better deal always unless it's happy hour). The revamped food menu doesn't seem appealing either. The new staff isn't as friendly (maybe they don't employ students anymore?) There was a lady whose attitude was a bit condescending and off-putting. I'll still pop in whenever I'm on campus for nostalgic reasons, but it's not the same anymore.
