And when I woke up one morning with 7 spider bites on ONE arm, I knew it was time to call the professionals! Plus the photos of the bites scared the hell out of my poor mother. I just didn't pull the trigger blindly. Adscot came highly recommended from my fence guy at Gates Are Us (now AGS). He said he had been using them for years, then ironically a few days later a worker installing my Solar who had a spider problem at his home recommend them also!! That was enough for me, so I booked the one initial spraying which was *** 45 dollars LESS than Terminex *** just for your F.Y.I ;) Adscot is a small, family-owned company which I totally PREFER to SUPPORT! Scott stopped by and dropped "Da Bomb" on those Spiders, he he! Well, not really a bomb...he just sprayed real good and also gave us some GREAT, INVALUABLE information on how to keep these buggers away between sprayings...FOR FREE!! He he!! ( Yes, a company actually gave me something for free guys! Lol) After the spraying his extra friendly and sweet wife Patti warned me that I "might" see MORE spiders up to 4 days after the spraying due to them freaking out and trying to escape then DIE and she wasn't kidding! A few days after the spraying I decided to take a gander outside my ground-level backyard patio door that night and saw this HUGE, grayish big butt, long arms, spider-looking scorpion thing moving quite fast and scared the S**t outta me!!! :( :( He moved so quickly I couldn't squash it even if I was brave enough to approach this hellish-looking creature!! I slammed the patio door screaming but I was all alone in the world as my normal spider killing device (my husband) was in the freaking shower! I franticly tried to describe this evil being as I hopped on Google to try to find out what the hell it was!! After about 10 minutes of research it looked closest to a Camel Spider or Sun Spider! So I tell my husband that I "think" this HUGE creature might be a Camel Spider! That's when my trademark clueless husband announced ...."Oh yeah, as the exterminator was spraying outside he said he thought he saw a bunch of long legged baby CAMEL SPIDERS!!!" EEeeWWWEE :( Now he tells me, GREAT TIMING, right?!? :( I really appreciate an exterminator that could tell the spider species... even as a baby!! But it doesn't matter much as I probably will not be going out into my back yard E V E R, lol! Regardless if they all die or not....we'll just go buy the Bar-B-Q this fourth of July, he he! Although I am NOT fully "cured" of my STRONG fear of Spiders....Ascot definitely helped me feel a bit less Hunted and Attacked! The worst extermination company in the high desert. We have a mouse infestation and hired Forest to…read moretake care of it as well as monthly maintenace. He was hired in January after making a full inspection of our house assuring us he would be able to resolve this. The price was high but he justified it by saying it would require multiple trips to the house for removal of dead mice and replacing the traps. After the first month, he stopped his regular visits and came only when we called him, even though the issue was far from resolved. Traps were placed in the garage but no mice were caught, most were in our kitchen, behind the stove. Now however, Forest starts saying the mice are coming from the garage, which is full of boxes. Now, he starts saying that until we clean the garage, there's not much he can do. Also, he tells me the contract he wrote and I signed was for 30 days. After that, not his problem. Funny he failed to mention that earlier and just kept coming out and replacing the traps. We also signed up for regular maintenace but he repeatedly assured us that regardless of the issue, he would avail himself to us at any time for any issue because we were on his regular maintenace plan. Which was just not true. He missed two wasp nests under our eaves which had to be called to his attention. He was sloppy, leaving his mess in my bedroom and in the downstairs bathroom. He left muddy footprints on my bathroom rugs. He kept referring to me as "her" or "she" on the phone in a not so complimentary way even after being repeatedly told he was talking to "her" not my roommate whom he assumed he was talking to. I'm seriously considering taking him to small claims court!
