I recently had to report my landlord to public health due to a carpet that's been in place adjacent to the shower for over 20 years, and has been repeatedly reported, has recently become more of an issue for us as tenants due to a present mildew smell. After Rainbow inspected and in fact found mold in the bathroom, the report stated the mold in question was caused from "negligence". When I called to question how the report concluded tenant negligence, they transferred me to "Parm" he then informed me that I supposedly told him there was an ongoing leak that's been reported several times. When I in fact told him the concern for moisture and mold had been reported several times and we also wanted to report while vendors were here - that we were concerned about a new faucet leak that had just started, specifically dripping down from the faucet. So simply, miscommunication. Simple. When questioning the miscommunication he was not at all friendly, or professional. He was very aggressive. Also, when you call in they do state that all calls are recorded - when I asked if he could potentially pull up the recording to confirm I said anything of the sort, he said we do not record our calls. Go figure. The most interesting thing is, both him and another Manager that I had met face to face, (Erik) had totally different outlooks on the situation. Especially knowing the carpet had been in place adjacent to the shower, for decades. It makes me question the integrity of this business as a whole and wonder if this business is running honestly. Also one other thing to add, I was solicited by one of the workers the day of remediation, to check out his car detailing business. This is also super unprofessional and made me really uncomfortable.

I was mislead by two of the technicians about services provided. My insurance company denied the claim and I was told to hold on for a couple days and try and fight the insurance company. That led to the equipment from Servpro to stay in my house an extra day and a half after they knew my insurance wasn't going to cover the damage. I was never left any paperwork or receipt about the job. I was told there would be no charges if the insurance doesn't cover it. That was lie. I was shocked to receive an invoice for over $3000. When disputed they dropped the price minimally. The second technician came to retrieve the equipment and stated " I need to pick this equipment before they start charging you ". Another lie. Needless to say, find anyone else to help you when in need because they don't care.

They later lowered it to 7100. I found a reliable company that did it for 2000. They seem like a very solid company, and you can rely on them in an emergency. Though if you can, make sure to shop around.

I declined the estimate. Instead, I hired a plumber experienced with back-flow systems. They promptly diagnosed and repaired the leak--for just $180. After the initial demo, they returned and spent hours in the dark and rain at the start of another storm disconnecting the remains of our demolished pergola from the house so it wouldn't catch wind and rip off our living room wall. The insurance company's reconstruction estimates were ridiculously low, and with the owner Joseph's help, it went up by $45k (to where it should have been to begin with).
