we love an evolving menu terra is on our weekly rotation for this reason. the drink specials are fun even for matcha drinkers. my favorites so far have been the pumpkin spice matcha and the choco-toffee matcha. i confirmed the chocolate and toffee syrups are dairy free. the most recent addition of the vegan chorizo sandwich is amazing. they really went above and beyond with this one with vegan aioli and a flavorful avocado spread. they tried out a tofu version of their vegan cream cheese recently which i prefer over oil based cream cheeses because they get really soupy and slimy on a hot bagel. i hope to see them give that another shot but with a less firm tofu so they achieve that creamy texture they're going for. read more

I really enjoyed my bagel sandwich and hash brown everything tasted fresh and high quality. I ordered The B.E.C. on an everything bagel with light cream cheese. I have heard they have a heavy hand with the cream cheese which is amazing if you love it but I only like a little and it was perfect. The hash brown was crispy hot and delicious and a great addition to the sandwich. While it felt a tiny bit overpriced you can tell you are paying for good quality ingredients which helps justify it. The space is pretty small and when I went in the morning it was really busy. Seating can be limited so you might not get a table and there were quite a few people standing around waiting for orders. Even with the crowd they were impressively fast at getting food out. I will definitely be back again but it will probably be more of a splurge spot for a simple breakfast rather than an everyday stop. Overall great experience at Terra Bagel and I'll definitely be back (often probably)! I went on a Saturday around 9 am. I had originally tried to go to the downtown location but after circling the block, decided to head to the Easttown location instead. I immediately found parking here on the street and went in. They were able to take my order immediately and I ordered the sausage and egg with veggie cream cheese on a bagel and their pumpkin spice latte with oatmilk. I waited maybe 5 minutes for my order was amazed that the bagel must've weighed 10 lbs, haha. It was a big boi sandwich for sure. I took my bagel with me to enjoy on the road. First off, these are big and a little sloppy (when cream cheese gets warm, it gets slippery) so it was messy to eat in the car but that's on me. The breakfast sandwich was amazing exceppppt their veggie cream cheese has big chunks of raw onion in it. I definitely will not be ordering that again, I was picking out big onion pieces the whole time. Otherwise though, perfection. The latte was not good, I will stick with Starbucks PSL's going forward and will order other drinks at Terra Bagel going forward. Best bagels in GR! Yup you read that right! I live in Kentwood and have no problem driving to east town just for a dozen of these! These bagels are made with love. They are soft on the inside but hard/crispy on the outside(when toasted). The flavors are interesting and executed right. The everything and the Italian are my favorites but I'll also enjoy a plain one too. Honestly they are all good and ALWAYS fresh! I've visited in the late afternoon, early morning, Sundays, Tuesdays, anytime and they are always fresh! The veggie spread is my favorite! You have to be a fan of that delicious bad breath onion though lol! They pack it with chunks of veggie that you can clearly see! None of that powdered dry stuff this is why it's so good! The bagels are NY style- huge, chewy, airy, and flavorful! The first visit my husband got a lox bagel and I had the BEC. Second visit he repeated his order and I got a classic bagel and cream cheese. There aren't that many foods that I feel like I struggle to find in Michigan, but a good bagel is one of them, and this place def scratches the itch. I grew up in north jersey so I'm like really Particular about my bagels, and they seem to do it right boiling with the barley syrup before baking. I also think the maple cinnamon bagel is I think the first sweet bagel I've ever liked and not felt like it was obscenely sweet or excessive. My critiques are only that they will try and charge you an extra $1 for slicing the bagels if you're buying like a half dozen to a dozen which like, come on guys. & if you want a particular flavor (maple cinnamon and any seasonal ones like honey oat) YOU MUST GET THERE BEFORE 10 AM. They will run out and it's uncertain if they'll be making more at that point. read more

This place is excellent. Quick service, delicious bagels, and a truly god-fearing amount of cream cheese. Like, one time I actually measured it out and I almost had an inch of cream cheese between my bagel. It's pretty cheap too - a bagel and a black coffee will only set you back like $7, which is practically free in Eastown. The sandwiches are good albeit a bit overpriced, and occasionally they run out of the Jalapeño cheddar bagel (my favorite obv) which can be a let down. Overall though, Terra Bagels has a monopoly on the GR bagel market as of current and it's no surprise why. read more

Update: I went back. Probably won't be back again. Bagels hard as nails. Asked for "light" schmear. I don't know what normal schmear, or God forbid, extra schmear looks like if what I got is "light." I love bagels. Very much. Although their bagels aren't as large as some I've had in the past, I must say they are extremely flavorful and have a very nice mouth-feel. (There is no better way to phrase that, sorry!) We were in a bit of a rush to get some sort of sustenance and this place hit the spot and then some. I ordered their cheddar and Italian herb bagel with their chevre, kale and artichoke schmear. Husband ordered their everything bagel with chive schmear. We wanted to try their pastrami sandwich but they were all out. I should've gotten their lox but we had a long drive ahead of us and I wasn't sure how well that would do for my tummy on a long ride. We did enjoy our bagels and schmears enough to order some for take away! We have a bagel-loving daughter at home who will devour these treats in no time!
