How is it acceptable to assign someone a primary care physician without their knowledge or consent--and then refuse to let them change? This is my healthcare. When I was seen and examined by him, he stated that I was to go straight to the Methodist Hospital emergency room. He also said NOT TO DRIVE MYSELF! (HE STATED THIS 6 TIMES)I informed him that I had driven to my appointment by myself. AGAIN, he insisted that I have someone come to pick me up and take me to the Methodist Hospital emergency room. After examination by the emergency room physician, I was admitted to the hospital. When I was released from the hospital, I returned to MacGregor Medical Group only to find out that MY CAR HAD BEEN IMPOUNDED!!! He happened to be in his parking spot when I got there. I had never had a physical exam done, so I thought it was time to at least start with that. For this, I didn't want to go with just any doctor's office. My goal was to find someone who actually cared and that was not going to try and give me medication to fix everything. One of my friends recommended Candace, and told me her experience with her and how amazing she was. I decided to make an appointment and it took me a bit to get in her schedule because she is in high demand. I am not going to go into detail about my appointments because I feel like that's a little private. However, I can share that Candace was exactly what I was looking for. She made me feel like it was just me and her, and I was not just another patient. She took the time to understand my history and my goals. Candace made some amazing recommendations that were practical and that I could easily apply on my day-to-day. Frankly, you can tell she cares and that is super hard to find. Just had an appointment this morning 9/15/14 and I was hesitate because the office was small, I…read morewent in to get my implanon removed after having it for three years I got it done in California . I now live in Texas so I had to find someone who would get it out and inexpensive since I would pay out or pocket . They were very nice the doctor was hesitate since my implanon was under my fat tissue since I gained weight , the implanon kept moving so he had to call another nurse in, to help move it around he made a little incision that did not hurt since he made sure I was well numbed . Everything went great did take a little longer then they said only because we were having problems keeping the implanon from moving . I am a very happy customer . I only paid $150. She also let me know about getting a pap smear done and getting a year worth of birth control for only $110. I will be back next week.

Visited the PAVILION PHARMACY yesterday to obtain FLU & COVID vaccine…read more Young man at window 1 informs me they have no covid vaccine and that he would have to charge me for the flu shot because I dont have Medicare part D. For years i have gotten both shots without cost...MEDICARE part B covered both shots! He told me I would have to go to the attached EXPRESS CLINIC to receive the shots with MEDICARE PART B. I went to the EXPRESS CLINIC and the staff there seemed totally confused. A female manager went to speak with the pharmacy guy..returned still seemingly bewildered. She asked me to wait while she 'checked something out.' She went into the back..never came back out. After abt 10 minutes, I left as it seemed no one knew what they were doing. I went to a local HEB and got both shots without charge. This was the most BIZARRE experiences ive ever had dealing with a 'healthcare provider.'
