The receptionist and head nurse were rude and even laughed at my mother's situation. The other two receptionists were blithely talking on what appeared to be personal calls. There was only one family in the waiting room. DO NOT see this practice if you are looking for a professional, caring medical staff. They are loud and unprofessional and do not know how to properly book appointments. You are never seen at your scheduled appointment time--appointments consistently run 30+ minutes late. If appointments were being scheduled correctly, this would not happen so often. They also frequently make mistakes when booking appointments. On more than one occasion, my appointment was scheduled with the wrong person, which meant I could not be seen as planned. The waiting room is nicely decorated, but it is not pleasant to sit in because the staff talks loudly about happy hour, food, and other personal topics, laughing so loudly that it becomes ridiculous. It took three attempts--wasting a significant amount of my time--to have a lab sample properly collected and submitted. The first visit was booked with the wrong person. The second time, they claimed there was an error in the paperwork and had to collect the sample again. I then had to return a third time for the specimen collection to finally be completed by the nurse. They also do not answer the phones when you call regarding prescription refills. Instead, you are required to leave a voicemail and are told it may take up to 72 hours for the refill to be authorized. I followed this process and never received a response. When I called back to follow up, I was told there was no record of my request, which suggests the voicemail messages are not being checked or are simply being deleted. If you have a lot of time to waste and don't mind sitting in a noisy office, you may be fine. Otherwise, beware.

Even for a basic office visit you may be waiting 2 hours after your appointment time to be seen by a provider. Test result follow-ups are very slow, even after they show up on the patient portal. Providers are also slow to write orders when test results are alarming to the patient. Dr. Coutinho used to be great but if you go here now odds are you will just see one of his PAs rather than the Dr. himself. I have nothing against PAs but the care here is simply not up to standard.

The office staff is always courteous and helpful everytime I call or need to reschudle, or if I owe a balance they are very easy to work with. If you love dogs, so does the staff lol. It's always nice to see the Dr's golden retriever and poodle walking around the office and come up to you to get some loving. I definitely recommend coming here for you primary care.
