Tucked away from the busy tourist strip, we found what every traveler hopes to find: genuine hospitality, honest prices, and incredible food. The staff treated us exactly like they treated the locals--with respect, warmth, and zero pressure. No tourist traps, no inflated prices, just outstanding food made right. Every dish was packed with flavor, the homemade sauces were absolutely phenomenal, and the service was some of the best we've experienced anywhere in Mexico. What impressed us most was the value. The quality of the food and service easily deserved a much higher price tag, yet everything was refreshingly fair and affordable. They have bathrooms with 3 stalls in the ladies room and the last stall has a changing table for your baby. The restaurant was very clean and had an open plan. You can sit outside of the weather is nice. They have little hangers to hang your purses next to your tables. They will split the bill if you have a large party. Just tell them when ordering. Their hot coffee was $65 pesos and it comes with free refills. I just got the fruit platter and the bread with coffee. The fruits were fresh and they also provide honey as well to eat with the cottage cheese. They also gave us a small complimentary plate of fruits so I just had extra. If you order the bread, you might get different varieties but they were all good. They were on the sweet side, just fyi. Overall, great experience with wonderful staff.

The machaca was dry. The sauce almost tasted flavorless. My son ordered a BLT, he seemed to be happy with it. My husband ordered a chile verde omelette. He like the chile verde, he said it was very tender and the sauce was flavorful but no spice at all. I also ordered a shake and my son did as well, and it was served at room temperature. I'm used to cold shakes. For what we ordered, I feel it was a bit over priced. The service was ok, nothing over the top great and it wasn't bad. This place wasn't terrible, but, not a place I would run back up. I don't even know how much I would recommend it.
