I spent $5,000 on camillas that day alone, and when my gardener saw the "immature leaf" he said I had Camellia yellow mottle virus which is transmitted by root grafts and propagation of diseased stock. The only cure for this is to buy from a reputable nursery not Home Depot. I thought that buying at AMERICAN Plant and paying obscene prices meant healthy plants. The only remedy is to tear out $50,000 in camellias and start over in 5 years. All I have to do then is find a reputable nursery.

They sell Fruitz Vegetables , Mulch , Top Soil bags plus they used to sell Organc Apple Cuderz during summertimes which I was disappointed they discontinued that . i loved getting apple cider there at one time or another . This has been a while snce I have been there since the pandemic. This was my return back after 6 years . I turned in my resume to try to get a job there I love customer service and being a string hand there . Plus building customer relations there to make customers feel welcomed, At Home , And Make Them Feel Like Family There again . I like to build bridges to all walks of life that come in there . What happened during the Covid Pandemic it was unlawful inexcusable unprofessional Reprehensible, Disrespectful, Unjustifiable, And down right wrong. I went in looking for a few low maintenance plants and Cole walked me through several options with real care and attention. I picked up a Hoya Compacta Hindu Rope, a ZZ plant, a Philodendron Lemon Neon, a Bromeliad, a Crassula Jade, an annual, and a six inch Euphorbia Firestick cactus. Every plant looked healthy and well cared for. Since it was a quiet Wednesday morning, I got very personalized attention, but honestly the service here is always excellent even when the store is busy. The staff makes every customer feel valued, no matter how many people are in the shop. The prices are higher than big box stores, but the quality and care of the plants make it worth it. I tried unsuccessfully to reach a manager about my crisp, fire hazard, though he never replied to my calls or email. I spoke to a salesperson named Austin no less than four times; while sweet, he was entirely unhelpful in resolving the issue. There are several great places to buy trees: Eastern Market and the place near National Cathedral, being my favorites. Skip the hassle of buying a second tree - which I did - and go to one of those. Don't waste your time here.

Eva quoted $35 to fix a lamp…read more Considering an entire rewiring kit at Ace is about $14 and a replacement socket alone is about $7 I agreed to let them fix the lamp. Problem 1: At pickup my lamp was tagged $55 for repair. Eva couldn't explain why, said the person was confused but she would charge me $35. Problem 2: Before bagging the lamp and driving back home with my lamp I ask Eva to plug it to confirm it turned back on. The lamp didn't turn on. Clearly it wasn't fixed or checked by anyone prior to calling me for pickup. Eva says leave it and I will have the repair person look again. Problem 3: Eva calls me back and says well the lamp should be rewired to replace the plug and thats going to be $65. I was quoted $35 to fix the lamp. The lamp should be fixed at the quoted price $35. The lamp should have been checked prior to calling for pickup. Complete waste of my time.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Upon checkout you can have your flowers placed in a boxed or wrapped in butcher paper. This was helpful to carry my flowers to the car. The location has their own parking lot so you don't have to worry about street parking. You can also preorder flowers if you have a special occasion coming up.

Peonies were over $60 for just six stems, which I found hard to justify. Since I was already there, I ended up buying roses. When I got home, I discovered they were moldy. I wasted my money and was extremely disappointed with the quality.
