They were pieced together and the screws and rivets were randomly placed on the door. One door was so bent out of shape that it could not be installed. When I called Marshall he wanted to pick up the bent door and order another one to replace it. It would take another two months at least (from a Canadian company) to get. After looking at the (can I say it: crappy looking door), I decided that I did not want to wait to get another door. Marshall FIRMLY told me that I COULD NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES RETURN THE DOOR AND GET A REFUND FOR BOTH DOORS. He said that Sunspace never refunded money. So I called Sunspace in Canada, and they told me that the refund was the responsibility of the American distributor. I called Marshall back and he said again, NO WAY are you getting a refund from us. To make a long story short, I filed a complaint with the VA Attorney General, who then notified OLW about my complaint. I got my refund shortly thereafter, and I paid OLW for a pickup fee, and they picked up their door. I got two lovely doors from Home Depot, with inside blinds, for about $100.00 less than I had paid OLW. The doors from HD were well made and one piece instead of being pieced together with ugly screws. They fit perfectly on the first try.

I have photos and videos showing that their truck's tarp wasn't in use, allowing debris to fly off of the truck. I provided a few photos to their office manager so they are well aware of this to be a fact and to be true. I plan on notifying authorities, providing them additional evidence and pursuing my claim. They should demand your drivers protect the property of others.

October 8, 2023…read more Transaction number 8233 I normally wouldn't email the CEO of a company on a Sunday but I had an extremely unpleasant experience at the following store number: 81375 I bought a storage container and when I got home immediately noticed there was a crack and brought it back for an exchange the same day. An African American woman named according to her Bran working on 10/8/23 at 2:17 pm rudely interrupted my transaction to tell me that she couldn't return it because I hadn't been broken when I left. She didn't handle my first transaction nor I had I ever seen or spoken to her before. But she proceeded to call me dishonest over something I simply hadn't noticed. I was not asking for a refund but simply an exchange as I needed the item. I shop here all the time and she was so rude and unprofessional that even the sales girl apologized for her behavior. But the sticking point for me was her calling me a dishonest person. Even if she said, the policy was to not accept returns it would have been handled better. What the pictures don't say however, are all of the little nuances and seams that Ed successfully trouble shot along the way. In a word, it was complicated! In the end, the project turned out to be visually stunning and flawlessly executed. He built one retaining wall from scratch along a stretch of land with significantly changing elevation and seamlessly extended another that was in great shape; but you'd never know from looking at it that it was extended. Perhaps most importantly, my project had some quirky drainage challenges bc it is a legacy home in a hilly area. I'm not exaggerating when I say when we get a heavy rain, it doesn't matter where the water lands. It all goes right to the drain! I attribute this to the fact that Ed set up the elevation strings to retest the pitching at multiple stages in the project. Almost compulsively--which is what you want in a contractor! Lastly, Ed and his team showed up literally every weather permitting week day from the day they started until the day they finished. When I called the store to tell him what happened he began yelling at me and not letting me speak, saying that I was lying and he never said that. This review is long overdue, but I've been meaning to share our wonderful experience with Al, Mike…read moreand their team on the multiple projects they completed for our old, complex house. We converted two rooms plus a hallway into a master suite as well as split two large upstairs rooms into three. We had structural concerns and lots of logistics to work out and I wouldn't trust anyone other than Mike to draw up the plans to make sure everything is safe and up to code. Al oversaw the projects and was in constant communication with us and regularly was on site to make sure everything was going smoothly. If anything wasn't 100% correct or what we had discussed, he would make sure it was remedied. Big shout out to Franz who even showed up to work the day after his wife had a baby! The M3 team worked late days and on weekends (with our consent) to meet their deadlines, even when the county held them up with permitting issues they still worked hard to finish within our timeframe. We even made major changes to our plans after construction had begun and they were able to pivot and help us get more square footage for the upstairs bedrooms. There were also numerous curveballs that they handled with ease (ya never know what you'll get with an old house). This was our first time doing any sort of large project and the team at M3 gave us plenty of guidance and support to make sure the finished product exceeded our expectations.
