We attempted to remove some ourselves but were quickly overwhelmed by the task. I researched native plant landscapers and came across Swamp Rose Co-op. After reaching out, Jeff, one of the owners, came to do a site visit. He was thorough in his presentation of plans and this February we had them come and do bamboo removal and plant some native trees and shrubs to act as a privacy screen. The Swamp Rose team was amazing! They pulled out over 2 tons of bamboo and roots! They planted native trees and shrubs which are thriving. Our backyard woodland meadow dreams are coming true. We have the team coming back in a few weeks to rip out the standard plants seen in the Silver Spring area (liriope, lilies, weeds) to replace with a native garden and we can't wait. One of my favorite aspects of this company is it is a co-op. The employees can be owners, and those who aren't are still paid a living wage as calculated by the MIT living wage calculator. They do excellent work! It is hard to find a native landscaper but this team is fantastic.

My home is a challenge because I do not have good light throughout, so I need guidance when selecting plants and also I have a cat and am always concerned about toxicity to animals. But, again, their guidance is very helpful. And with their help I can find a plant for the right location in my place.

It was the end of the day so I can understand the potential fatigue but when giving me my order she informed me that they didn't have one of the sizes requested so she added a size larger and tried to have me pay more for their error without having informed me prior to pick up. Luckily I believe the manager was there and was able to rectify the issue immediately. It was a small error that I hope they can provide clearer communication to their customers when this happens moving forward.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Upon checkout you can have your flowers placed in a boxed or wrapped in butcher paper. This was helpful to carry my flowers to the car. The location has their own parking lot so you don't have to worry about street parking. You can also preorder flowers if you have a special occasion coming up.

I was a little skeptical with all the five star ratings but we gave Zee a call. They sent Zeke out and he took the top off the machine and started running it. He noticed right away that one of the valves was leaking. He checked the rest of the machine and said it was in good shape otherwise and the valve could cause the odor Rich noticed. He looked up the replacement part cost and gave us an estimate with installment. The machine is old but the repair cost was reasonable and with assurances from Zeke that he didn't see any other problems we went ahead and booked the repair. A few days later the part arrived and Zeke came back out and installed it. Very good service, Zeke was courteous and efficient. We may have a new go-to appliance repair service.

I booked it, and he showed up early, quickly diagnosed the problem, gave me my options and the cost of everything, immediately ordered the part, and called me when it came in two days later to schedule a fix the next morning. It has now been a few weeks and everything is working extremely smoothly. Very friendly guy with excellent knowledge and service.
