They're welcoming and always go over everything from rules to if you need help, etc. The boys always have fun paintballing. This last time, I paid $240 for 6 boys which included everything and 100 balls each. I bought them 2 cases of 2000 balls and they lasted about 3.5 hours. Probably could have gotten away with one case but one boy was trigger happy! BRING WATER AND LAYER UP :)

He was really enjoying basketball and didn't seem too keen on soccer (and actually hated judo although he was doing it the longest). Enter Nemesis Soccer Academy, founded this past summer (2018) by Ben Villaflor, who was a great soccer player in Hawaii. My son first said he was not interested in playing but decided to give it a shot because he found a pair of soccer shoes that he wanted to buy (and I refused to get it unless he played club soccer). Ben's vision and philosophy might be different than other clubs. The focus at my son's age (8) is on development of the individual player. It is to develop skill at your age and your ability - giving you the tools to grow as an individual. Yes, you are very much part of a team, but you're developing your ability in order to be the most successful you can be when all is said and done. Focus and the goal at this age is not on winning and goals - it is about developing skill, protecting the ball, being aggressive on the ball, ball control, touches on the ball and all the good stuff that comes with it. Yes, they will learn more to the game as the years go on. The boys at this age are given equal opportunity to touch the ball in games, play different positions and learn from each other. I'm shocked by how much skill my son (and really all the kids on his team) have picked up and have been able to use in games, and how much they have grown just in 3 months. Many on the team came from previous club teams so I can't speak to how it differs as my son didn't play club soccer before. But I've seen so much growth, enthusiasm, smiling and great attitudes. The boys are developing friendships, confidence and so much more. In just 3 months, my son went from not wanting to play to someone who will not stop kicking the ball around... the house, the park, I've found the ball in his bed while he's sleeping - it's everywhere. He even wrote a paper in school about soccer! The coaches have been amazing and the parents are equally as amazing too! We're grateful for an opportunity to be a part of this club!

Be careful when booking the pavilion. They will keep your deposit and claim you're breaking fire…read morecode, even while they are the ones manning the gates and handing out wristbands themselves. Bands does not indicate occupancy, it indicates attendance. Occupancy is where you are sitting or standing. Each area on the property the pavilions, the pool, and the deck has its own occupancy limit. In our case, most guests were in the pool or on the deck, not in the pavilion. The pavilion limit is 88, and well did not have everyone inside at once. Still, they said we were over capacity. But how did they determine we were at max capacity? Did the attendant count the total people occupying the space? I understand if we were at 89 guests in the pavilion we would be in violation but we were not. Staff should be familiar with their own fire codes and apply them correctly, not lump everyone together because each area has its own occupancy. What made this worse is that they themselves allowed outside guests to enter during the event and even let people drop off gifts, but then turned around and accused us of violating rules. Nothing was broken, no actual code was violated, and yet we were treated rudely and embarrassed in front of our guests. They should also know the total occupancy for the pool and pavilions combined. If their reasoning for not letting us book the other pavilion was that it required additional staffing, then technically, there should have been two attendants present already since there was an event and they were also allowing outside residents to come in. The rules need to be enforced fairly and with consistency. As it stands, it feels arbitrary and unprofessional. Will be in contact with the AHJ

Took my number down but never called back so I called back and also went in person. Was told will get called back next day for more info, but I didn't so I called back and was disappointed after a week looking as things were going positive, but I was wrong. Don't get me wrong associates were nice, but how things were handled or organized was messy.

He took part in a variety of drills, worked with awesome coaches, learned new skills, and competed in a scrimmage. Coach Matt and his staff were outstanding, and we even got to meet University of Hawaii head coach Rich Hill, as well as Andy Archer from the Savannah Bananas. The facility is draped and saturated with winning trophies and banners. Great coaches here, and got to meet some amazing families and players as well. This club is located at the heart of Honolulu. Facility is top notch...has 3 courts, weight room, meeting rooms, film rooms, recovery room, lounge area outside and inside. Parking might be tight but no worries, you will find parking. Lots of eating places nearby. They also run clinics every Sunday I believe and beach volleyball as well.

Multiple bad encounters with different coaches, but the one that stands out is a male coach at the 14s level. Completely no class, swearing at his own players, refs, etc. Has a bad reputation in the club world. If I had a big enough club with a name like SAS, I would definitely do a better job of who I hire to represent our club name. Yes, his team does win, but at the expense of his girls' mental health and referees.
