Currently the only climbing gym on Oahu. This place has some hard climbs for climbers of all levels. I've only been a handful of times since the ownership changed over during covid. It's been nice with the reservation system, the gym doesn't get overly packed. It can be hard for me to get in the right zone when it's too packed. One tip I can give is be careful here near tops of climbs. They tend to make the top outs tricky and hard. I wasn't expecting that for one of the climbs and fell awkwardly and tweaked my ankle/achilles.

Awesome building gym! Make sure you sign your safety waiver online before you arrive. You can also sign it when you arrive too (but you can save some time). Street parking only! Shoes and chalk rentals are pretty cheap and it seemed like the reset the holds every now and then. The gym doesn't use the traditional V0+ system but they offer a range that they list of the wall based on different colors. We definitely found that there was a good variety! It was not too crowded when we went but it's probably because the gym is a decent size and there's a good amount of area for people to climb. The staff here are also super nice and friendly! Loved getting to chat with them as they gave us some pointers to conquer some more difficult routes. Great place to get some exercise in!

This indoor rock climbing gym is located in the Waipio industrial area. There's limited parking in the lot, but street parking is available within walking distance. It's a fun activity to do that can be challenging and can count as exercise for overall strength, especially for your hands. They do have climbing shoes and chalk bags you can rent. It's a neat little warehouse, air circulation seemed okay, didn't seem like it was too hot in there, though you're working hard with all that climbing so expect to sweat anyway. Bathroom facility was nice and clean too. There were different color handholds you can follow for various difficulty levels. I've only been here a few times, so I'm not conditioned like those pro climbers, a couple of hours of climbing was more than enough time there!! My hands could only handle so much. There are benches for resting and spectating. It's a safe place to rock climb with the mats to cushion you if you fall.

For spring break, I wanted to get the kids out and do something fun & new to us. We really haven't been active since the stay at home order started so it's about time we get up and start moving! I thought this rock climbing activity involved a harness and pully type of mechanism. It's just a wall, climbing shoes, liquid chalk and all you boo! I went online and booked our reserved time very easily for my 3 children and I. filled out the waivers immediately after, that way checking in would be a breeze. GPS lead us to the correct location in the Waipio Gentry area. It's street parking only, so you might have to walk a bit. Pricing is available online, but they do charge a covid fee and rental fees for shoes and liquid chalk. For those extra things, the price was more than I expected to pay, but still alright for a first time experience for 4. Masks must be worn at all times. You should bring your own drinks but you must go outside the building to remove your mask. I felt like safety precautions were done well. Shoes are placed in a bin near the front desk after they're worn. Sanitizer is at the entrance and there is a restroom with a separated handwashing sink. Bring your own lock if you want to store your items in their lockers. Personal shoes can be placed in wooden shelving. There is a color system to their levels of rock climbing paths. The color key is located near the entrance and is easy to follow. I'm a true Virgo so I followed closely to those easy paths. Employee - Star, said that we could make it our own and make up a path if we wanted, after getting used to the wall. Blew my mind lol, I obviously live in a comfort box! She really was awesome, very personable and super friendly. I would highly recommend this activity for anyone that is looking for something fun to do while keeping active. If you're a really active person, you could purchase a monthly pass and purchase your own shoes! We will probably be back with Daddy G just to have the full family experience!

    Happy Birthday Elise & Hunter!

This was our first time ever trying something like this. It was hard but fun and very different than D&B or ITrampoline. You have to use your mental and physical experience to get to the top and to not give up and try again after not succeeding. All the children had fun and that is the main goal! The experience was wonderful from email and calls of inquiry, information and down payment. To showing up, checking in, bringing our food (tables and tents were set up already), signing waivers from a QR code, getting shoes, listening to safety orientation, playing, clean up and leave. Staff is friendly and helpful.

In Waipio, it can be found right next door to the Beer Lab HI. As a result of the location's inconvenience and the fact that so many other businesses in the area need street parking, it might be difficult to obtain any available parking. It was a lot of fun in the gym! A lot of varied challenges and obstacles were available, even though it was smaller than other gyms I've gone to. One-day passes cost $19 ($16 for students) and monthly memberships were also available! Because COVID required us to create an online appointment and sign an online waiver, we were forced to do so. Online, navigating is a breeze! In addition, we were able to rent shoes for $3 and chalk for $2.

Came for an event. The staff was pretty awesome and worked well with the amount of kids we had. Seems like the parents had more fun than the kids though. Street parking only and bring your water because it gets hot. Looks like a lot of fun (I just watched) with a variety of skill sets. I'll def try to come and actually work out. A lot of the kids figured it out pretty quickly.

We had to make an online appointment (due to COVID) and then sign an online waiver.

I would recommend this specific location to families wanting to experience Keiki Kingdom. We've…read morebeen here twice with our 6 kids and it's always been younger children playing which is a relief from the other location which allows older children and teens to participate on the second floor to which they do not always stay. The parking is good. It's fenced in which may seem suspicious but I'm sure it's an attempt to protect its customers and the business. This location had everything operating during our visit. The staff is very helpful and accommodating and the business is very clean. It's remarkably tidy in fact! Kudos to the staff. My kids enjoyed the slides the most. There is a lot for kids and toddlers to do here. There is one slide that I was concerned about where it's seemingly a straight drop but it's not but still my heart skips a beat when I think of a smaller child attempting to slide down it. So be warned. We visit during off hours where we nearly get the place to ourselves! And for anyone wondering, they do offer military discount! I would highly recommend this Keiki Kingdom Location above all.

As a parent, I have mixed feelings about Keiki Kingdom. On one hand, the layout is fantastic. You…read morecan tell someone spent a lot of time thinking through how the space flows. Everything feels connected, there's plenty for kids of different ages to do and my kids had an absolute blast. I also appreciate that the parking lot is gated. Given the area, that extra layer of security makes arriving with young children feel much more comfortable. But once you stop looking at the design and start looking at the details, the experience begins to fall apart. Cleanliness needs work. The tunnels had an unpleasant odor, parts of the facility smelled musty, the bathrooms felt sticky and the locker area was warm with little ventilation. The air conditioning also seemed inadequate. On a busy afternoon the building became uncomfortably warm and several vents looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Maintenance is another issue. Too many attractions were out of service during our visit. The popcorn machine wasn't working, one of the slides was closed, part of the climbing area was unavailable, the TV displays were damaged and several machines throughout the building were either broken or empty. When you're paying premium admission for a family, it's disappointing to find so much of the facility unavailable. The front desk also left a poor first impression. We were required to purchase Keiki Kingdom socks even though we already had socks from another indoor playground. I understand having policies, but when you're asking families to spend more money before they even walk in, it would be nice to mention that several attractions are currently unavailable. That feels like the fair thing to do. I also wish there were more staff actively walking the play areas. Not to babysit children, but simply to help keep the space clean, notice maintenance issues and step in when kids are playing unsafely. That visible presence would make a big difference. The frustrating part is that all of these issues are fixable. The foundation is excellent. The design is better than most indoor playgrounds I've visited and my kids genuinely loved their time there. But a great concept deserves better upkeep, better maintenance, and more attention to the customer experience. We'll probably be back because the kids had fun. I just hope next time the facility lives up to the quality of its design.
