Just before this visit I had the pleasure of bringing a friend to Cavallano Sports Bar in Etobicoke where they offered a splash of Frangelico with my Espresso, and that was at 9AM so somewhat of a surprise and pleasantly delicious. So seeing this menu there was a bit a flutter in my heart as you can imagine. So if you want a family style dinner Italian style I heartily recommend this long running establishment which will fit the bill with great, friendly service and all the favourites you can think of!

Dough not "sweet," but not savoury or sour; Sauce was similar to a tomato soup (generally not in a bad way) with some brightness notes. Cheese placed sparingly, with no (desireable) orange hues, and no cheese sliding off (which is good), and added respective savoury notes, but didnt add much to save an already lackluster pie overall. Would recommend (if possible) to request "thin" dough if ordering since the dough tasted barely decent. Ultimately a boring pie overall.

I ordered a cocktail called "It's Complicated" which was exactly what I was craving. The server recommended their winter special for dinner, which was any pizza or pasta plus dessert for $32. I chose the pasta carbonara and tiramisu for dessert. The pasta was really flavourful, and I loved the egg yolk on top as it added an extra level of richness to the dish. The tiramisu was really light - I wish it had more mascarpone but it was still very good. Service was excellent and I left full and very happy.
