This review is for the breakfast burritos: I picked this place because the menu on their website stated they use black beans in their breakfast burritos as well as sausage, eggs, and cheese. This was a lie; they use potatoes, not black beans, so the extra protein I was looking forward to was substituted with cheap carbs. There was also a laughable amount of sausage in the burrito so needless to say, I ate it and am still hungry. It's more potatoes than anything else. 1 star for the nice lady on the phone and 1 star because the burrito was edible. read more

The first thing to say about Terre is the amazing service! The staff were upbeat and welcoming as soon as we walked in. I stayed to study there and saw someone wiping down empty tables almost every hour. The cafe has a homey vibe inside and it also has a drive-thru. Wifi is fast and lots of free parking next to it. The cinnamon roll surprised me! I typically go for rolls with a healthy dose of cream cheese frosting, so I wasn't sure I'd love the glaze on this one. It was actually very good; the glaze coated all the nooks and crannies so each bite was full of flavor. Staff and even other customers were all very pleasant. I must say I was dissappointed overall unfortunately. It wasn't very busy, 3 people sitting with laptops, 2 drive through orders while we were there. I came in to cash in on my free birthday cinnamon roll and coffee. Nobody was readily available to greet. We ordered the cinnamon roll along with 2 carmel macchiatos and were told the cinnamon roll would be out in a bit. We waited for quite a while. Drive through received theirs before ours. So I walked up to inquire and she pointed over to the invisible pick up window towards the back of the hallway. Apparently they were sitting there a while because the coffee was luke warm at best and the cinnamon roll, well they could have just taken it out of the case in front and handed it over as it didn't appear to have been warmed even nor was I asked. The gal working had looked over in our direction several times while we were waiting and made eye contact too. She could have easy said that our order was waiting. Aside from that, I wasn't very impressed with the cinnamon roll as it had an all too airy texture not unlike Kryspy Kreme and was overly sugary with the drizzle type frosting in lieu of a buttercream style. Cozy, warm environment, but can get very noisy at times. Needs some sound deadening materials for better acoustics. Good selection of seating types and areas. Coffee and baked goods are good. Baristas and service is top notch. Outdoor seating and drive thru are offered as alternatives. Very popular for a good reason. Can often be very busy and seating can be full. Parking is good. Location is convenient. Wish they would buy the empty lot next door, build a bigger place and also offer ice cream and Annie's frozen custard. It would be hard to leave. read more

Stopped by while on a trip from Tennessee. Ordered a coffee and a jalapeño bagel. Coffee was fine just tasted like most standard coffee places. The bagel was a unique try! The jalapeño cream cheese had a good kick but it might have been a little much smothered on to one bagel. I would definitely suggest you try it because I can't recall seeing too many places that have something like this on the menu. DON'T GO HERE IF YOU UNDERSTAND CORONAVIRUS EXISTS. Also don't go if you have an underlying medical condition or are elderly. They have a sign on the front window advertising that they don't abide by the mask mandate because some people have a medical condition that prevents them from wearing one. If you don't wear one they won't ask. This is a political ploy and a "hoax." No one in there was wearing a mask. Not even the baristas. They probably aren't allowed to wear one. There are no extra precautions to keep people safe. No hand sanitizer anywhere. I don't believe social distancing is enforced in any way. Why bother when it's acceptable to breathe all over anyone and anything? This is your place if you think coronavirus is a hoax and you like scripture verse tattooed on your coffee cup. Also if you forgot your bible at home don't worry. They have some in the back. On the positive side, they have decent prices. For those who are gluten free they have at least one gluten free option, a chocolate scone. It looks nothing like the picture though. They have $5 burritos that are a small size, which is good in my opinion. Who needs a massive burrito. My burrito needed salt. I don't expect to have to add salt to my food. I couldn't taste any coffee flavor in my drink and my friend said hers was bitter. If you want to sit outside, brace yourself for the loud mufflers of the giant pick up trucks that go screaming by. I almost never give bad reviews. In this situation I felt compelled to warn others. I would have given a higher rating if they didn't clearly shove their political and religious opinions down customer throats and were more mindful of public health. I'm happy to give my business to anyone regardless of their religious or political views; I just don't need to know what they are. Will never go back here. Very friendly person took our order and answered all of our questions.. We ordered an Almond Roca iced latte and red raspberry lotus energy drink. The latte was made with good shots (not bitter), but not what I ordered. I was very explicit with my order that I was looking for a latte with Almond Roca Syrup, not a mocha. What I got was a DIY Almond Roca made by blending almond and toffee syrups and adding chocolate... On the other hand, the Lotus energy drink was amazing! It was made as ordered (sad they didn't have grape flavor though) and hit just the right balance of sweet and fizz. Really yummy! There seems to always be a problem when I drive through. Come on offers are not honored. Communication between barristras is erroneous. Getting out back to Government Way, Coeur d ' Alene, is difficult. If you go inside, barristras are quick to tell you when they are closing. I am glad my card is almost spent.
