Of all the potential rip-off places to do business with, I managed to land us at this piece of fecal matter facility. We needed a battery replacement on an iPhone 6 and were in McKinney where they wanted $40. I had my son call this place since we were headed home and he was quoted $29 He asked how could it be less and I explained most likely their rents were much less as the industry is pretty standard and the biggest variables are probably things like rent So off we go to Tanger in Terrell. He and his sister dropped it off and went strolling while i took a nap in the truck. An hour passed and Ethan comes to the truck and says it's $40. Huh? I decide to go in and no, it's not $40, it's $49 plus with tax it's $54 of course. Well, the phone's already been fixed. It's pay or walk away without a phone as the guy refuses to budge. Fine, you bait & switch cretins, you've gotten our last dollar ever. I've no issue with a place wanting to make money, none. I do have issue with these tactics though. I took my iPad in to get the battery replaced. They never called me when the repair was done. When I did get the iPad back, the touch screen only partially worked and the iPad shuts off when the battery reaches 25%. When I confronted the people at the store, they accused me of lying and tried to charge me an additional $180 to replace the screen that had previously worked before they replaced the battery. Had my phone screen repaired and it hasn't worked properly since. I also had them put a screen protector on for me. My kids dropped my phone one time (it was in a protective case with a screen cover as well). Now half the screen is completely disabled. I asked a friend in repairs and they said it was likely due to incorrect placement of the screen when it was repaired which created a pressure point so it wouldn't take much to break all the way. So paid over $100 for a screen repair that now is costing me a whole new phone... I was told by a friend that this place was hit or miss but it was closer than the others so I tried it. This guy repaired my iphone 8, it wouldn't charge. He said there was a speck of debris in the charger port, cleaned, works great now. Cost - $10.87! I will definately recommend this place to all and will return if more repairs are ever needed. read more

I've had 2 phone screens repaired here. Both times I've called ahead, they quoted me a price and both times it was the most affordable option. I've gone in, and both times waited less than an hour. I've paid the quoted price, and left with repaired phone screens. 2 home-runs, as far as I'm concerned, and I won't go anywhere else!! This place is a scam. Took my IPhone 6s in for a screen replacement and they were done in 30 minutes, only thing is my screen cracked the same day. Took it back up there and he tells me there's a bump on my battery causing the screen to crack?? I became Irate but kept my cool, I then asked why he would install the screen knowing that. Keep in mind the screen was 80.00$ At the point where he was rude and unhelpful I told him I would like to speak to a manager about this. He tries to call him and then gives me the number to the store as his managers number. The owner is so rude, he called me a liar about his employee admitting to me that he never gave me an opportunity to fix the battery and I told him money wasn't an issue I just wanted him to do the right thing. After a certain point I acknowledged that he's a scam artist. Whenever the receipt had an 7 or 8 day warranty. He told me that the best he could do was give me half off a new screen. I told him I would never take anything up there again and I would advise everyone else not to. The stores primary number is the owners cell phone number. He has the ability to screw as many people as he wants because he knows that we're not going to take him to court over 100$ read more
