This was going to be a very good trip. Obviously this place is a winery, but they have decided to get into beer too. I think the woman told us that they are still pretty new to brewing, but there is nothing wrong with that. They aren't even on the VT beer map. That just makes coming here that much more enjoyable. It is like you are getting in on the ground floor of a stock that you know will make you a ton of money. The setting here seemed very genteel to me. I think there might have been some doilies. If not, there should have been. They have a tasting. You can do wine, or you can do beer. Or maybe you can do both. We did beer. I will say the amount of black olives and mushrooms wasn't overly generous, but it was enough, my family didn't complain. In fact, my picky little nephew are a lot more than he usually does! They also have burgers, hot and cold subs, deli meat, steaks, desserts, and bait! This is really a full service eatery. If you want something, give them a call and they can probably do it. As for booze, if you're on the NY side of the border it's well worth the trip over here to Fair Haven, VT. They had this Vermont maple bourbon that my mom loves and is hard to find. Great timing for her birthday! On top of all that, the service is very friendly! I'm not a familiar face but was treated as well as anyone else, this doesn't happen in every small town as I've unfortunately experienced at another pizza shop in the area. In fact, they offered to carry the pizza to my car as my hands were pretty full with booze! I've found my new "go-to" for my pizza and liquor needs when I'm up here. Been here three times and the beer is seriously great! One of the very few microbreweries that makes pilsners. This last time we went (Feb '24) they had TWO Pilsner styles and both were fantastic. Decor is a little sparse- They have this awesome bar with a big mirror woodwork, etc (that I hear they salvaged from another place) and it's empty.
