They were able to get my son in for surgery within 2 days. Always answer any questions I have. Even on the day of surgery, everything went very smooth. The hygienist Carol was so, so sweet and patient and we finally did xrays via digital xrays and then a 3D option as well. I met w/ the dentist Dr. Keith who was also really kind, patient and thoroughly explained everything to me. I'll be going back to get multiple issues fixed but feel relieved and happy to be in what seems to be good hands.

Looking for a more than qualified oral surgeon led me to Dr. Marxen. I met with his staff, went over the procedure, and also voiced my concerns about too much anesthesia, and made my sensitivity to it very clear. The day of my procedure was easy. I was in and out in two hours as I followed their instructions. Post recovery I was not overly woozy and had no ill effects from the drugs. While I had post opp pain from impacted teeth removal, within two days I was back to a normal routine. And all I had to take was Tylenol and ibuprofen! The only painful thing really was listening to the nursing staff talk about lunch before my procedure (as I couldn't eat and was really hungry). If you want someone who's not going to have you living a nightmare for a month after removing teeth, I highly recommend this group.

If you like a lot of hand-holding, NLS/Kirkland is not for you. On the other hand, if you would prefer an impersonal, conveyor belt approach, this office may be more your style. The procedure was rough, but less due to the staff than the procedure. It's simply a terrible thing to have a piece of your body you've had in place for a half-century sawed off and ripped out. Recovery was flawless. To say I had little pain would be inaccurate: I had zero pain in the first several days.

However, when I arrived, the receptionist informed me that because the visit involved a panoramic x-ray, I would need to pay out of pocket. This was unexpected and confusing, especially since my insurance covers x-rays as part of a routine cleaning. What's most frustrating is that the office refused to proceed with the appointment, despite having verified insurance coverage beforehand. I wasn't given a clear explanation as to why the panoramic x-ray was required or why it wasn't covered, and no alternative was offered. The lack of communication and flexibility felt unprofessional and disappointing. I hope this feedback helps improve transparency and patient experience in the future

However, after several visits, my experience was extremely disappointing. What should have been a straightforward crown replacement turned into months of frustration. It took approximately 1 1/2 hours to remove a chipped crown, and the temporary crown fell off three separate times. By the third time, I was so frustrated that I simply left it off until my permanent crown was ready. When the permanent crown was finally placed, I thought the issue was resolved. Unfortunately, it also came off. At first, Dr. Yerra suggested the problem was my bite, which didn't make sense considering the previous crown had been in place for over 10 years without any issues. Later, she said the cement hadn't set properly and re-cemented it. A few months later, while eating a sandwich, I noticed something crunchy. My crown had come off again. By that point, I had already taken several days off work for appointments and repeated issues with the temporary crown. I wasn't willing to lose more unpaid time. When I contacted the office to explain the situation, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility. There was no offer to schedule me before or after work, nor any attempt to accommodate me on my regular day off. Instead, I later received a certified letter sent to a previous address informing me that I had been dismissed as a patient. To make matters worse, before the crown fell off the second time, I visited an oral surgeon and learned I had a cavity and another failing crown that had never been brought to my attention. As someone with significant dental anxiety, I was especially disappointed that a tooth requiring treatment was overlooked while a crown that had not been causing problems was replaced. After discussing everything with my insurance company, I was informed that I could file a Quality of Care claim. This entire experience cost me far more than the dental bill it resulted in lost wages, repeated appointments, unnecessary pain, and added dental anxiety. I cannot recommend this practice based on my experience. I hope others have a better outcome than I did.
