B/c I am a total dental chicken I always start with those who provide sedation (not just laughing gas and pills). This office had good reviews and when I told them I had a toothache they got me in very quickly. As always I had difficulty getting xrays done b/c of my anxiety and was basically crying (embarassing). The hygienist Carol was so, so sweet and patient and we finally did xrays via digital xrays and then a 3D option as well. I met w/ the dentist Dr. Keith who was also really kind, patient and thoroughly explained everything to me. I'll be going back to get multiple issues fixed but feel relieved and happy to be in what seems to be good hands.

Looking for a more than qualified oral surgeon led me to Dr. Marxen. I met with his staff, went over the procedure, and also voiced my concerns about too much anesthesia, and made my sensitivity to it very clear. The day of my procedure was easy. I was in and out in two hours as I followed their instructions. Post recovery I was not overly woozy and had no ill effects from the drugs. While I had post opp pain from impacted teeth removal, within two days I was back to a normal routine. And all I had to take was Tylenol and ibuprofen! The only painful thing really was listening to the nursing staff talk about lunch before my procedure (as I couldn't eat and was really hungry). If you want someone who's not going to have you living a nightmare for a month after removing teeth, I highly recommend this group.

The…read moreWoodinville Periodontics and Implant Specialist office staff and Dr. Demetri Ginosatis were awesome! I truly have a fear of all dentists, and he was just wonderful, along with his caring staff, to help me get comfortable during my procedure. From start to finish, my experience was outstanding. The staff on my first consultation visit was welcoming and efficient, ensuring I felt comfortable right from the moment I walked in. The office is beautiful, which gave me some comfort. After less than five minutes of waiting, I was taken to an exam room to meet Dr. Ginosatis. He took the time to explain the procedure thoroughly, addressing all of my questions and concerns, and his professionalism truly put me at ease. Throughout the treatment, I felt well looked after. Dr. Ginosatis, aware of my anxiety, ensured my comfort at every step. The procedure was surprisingly quick and, to my relief, painless. Even the numbing shot, which usually triggers my anxiety, was not as bad as I had anticipated. The entire team's dedication to patient care and their pride in their work was evident. I left the office feeling a sense of relief and gratitude for the excellent care I received. If you're looking for a periodontist who combines skill with great compassion, please check out this group. Thank you, Dr.Genosatis, for making what could have been stressful (and painful in my mind) so positive! I would like to highly recommend them to everyone who reads my review. When I get great service, I like to share and write about it.

I finally went to the dentist after realizing that the pain was not subsiding but only increasing. I was referred to Dr. Peysakhov by my dentist to have another look. It turned out, it had not only affected my tooth, but the infection spread from my jaw to my throat, not enabling me to open my mouth wide enough to put food through it with a fork or to breathe easily. Dr. P had said that there has been cases of death and if I were to come in any later, I'd be at an even higher risk. He did one x-ray (since I was pregnant) and realized that I needed to go into surgery immediately. He was very careful with both the anesthesia and the x-ray because I was 11 weeks pregnant. Despite complications and extreme circumstances on my end: I was bleeding more because I was pregnant, I was only allowed local anesthesia because it wouldn't harm the baby, and worst of all, the wisdom tooth roots were wrapped around an artery, a nerve and a vein... Dr. P operated tactfully and efficiently. Some of the tooth is still in-tact but Dr. P was able to get the infected part out. I was instructed to come back after the baby is born to do a full x-ray and examination of the tooth. For recovery, Dr. P gave me his personal cell number and had strictly instructed me to call him every few hours that evening. My husband was out of town working so Dr. P even spoke to my friend who was taking care of me several times that evening as well. In April 2017, I referred my husband to Dr. Peysakhov to get all four of his wisdom teeth removed. The operation was a quick 45 min and Dr. P and my husband both did great! Later that evening, my husband was having a hard time recovering and was in severe pain, so I texted Dr. P at about 7pm on his personal cell informing him of this. Dr. P immediately called me and insisted we meet back at the office so he can give my husband a numbing block and a higher dosage prescription. Overall, Dr. Peysakhov goes above and beyond not only during surgery, but also just importantly, during recovery: He didn't have to give us his personal cell phone number but he did. He didn't have to meet us at the office in Bothell at 9pm while he has a young family at home but he did. We are eternally grateful for Dr. Peysakhov. Not only is he professional, experienced, competent, and compassionate (and has a friendly team) but he practically saved my life while operating an emergency surgery on me while pregnant and was really there for my husband when he was in severe pain while recovering. I would absolutely recommend anyone and everyone to Dr. Peysakhov.

Also found it really off putting that regarding my answer of 1gram/day when the dentist asked "do you use marijuana, if so how much?", the dentist said "that sounds like a LOT! What does that even mean? You smoke 12 joints a day?" I mean why even ask or comment if you have absolutely no frame of reference.

Neal, Leonard and Sorensen (NLS) runs the gamut, from the highs to the lows, with everything settling into a mostly middle experience. NLS is a factory disassembly and assembly line. If you like a lot of hand-holding, NLS/Kirkland is not for you. On the other hand, if you would prefer an impersonal, conveyor belt approach, this office may be more your style. The procedure was rough, but less due to the staff than the procedure. It's simply a terrible thing to have a piece of your body you've had in place for a half-century sawed off and ripped out. Recovery was flawless. To say I had little pain would be inaccurate: I had zero pain in the first several days.

However, when I arrived, the receptionist informed me that because the visit involved a panoramic x-ray, I would need to pay out of pocket. This was unexpected and confusing, especially since my insurance covers x-rays as part of a routine cleaning. What's most frustrating is that the office refused to proceed with the appointment, despite having verified insurance coverage beforehand. I wasn't given a clear explanation as to why the panoramic x-ray was required or why it wasn't covered, and no alternative was offered. The lack of communication and flexibility felt unprofessional and disappointing. I hope this feedback helps improve transparency and patient experience in the future

I went here to establish as a new patient, to be honest I was kind of bribed by OpenCare, with an $85 giftcard to Sephora as incentive for choosing this place. I figured I did not have a lot to loose considering I'd get the giftcard at the very least. I went in for my new patient exam, the staff seemed a little too busy to greet me. I remember it being a little awkward. I could tell one of the receptionist was likely the dentists mom, they both have the same kind of demeanor and speaking patterns, talking down to you or like you are inferior while also acting inconvenienced to be doing their job. The waiting room looked nice. Had a coffee station, nice furniture and a fire place. I sat for about 15 or 20 minutes past my appointment waiting to be called back. The temperature of the waiting rooms was uncomfortable and I mentioned it and the assistant said it was always freezing or too hot. Then he told me that they didn't open the door because then it would smell like Subway bread, which was a smell the receptionists did not like. The assistant who took my x-rays was pretty cool out of everybody there he seems like a nice honest guy, he also seemed a little bit nervous. And I met with the doctor she made some condescending remarks about my teeth, something about how I need to drink my coffee faster and she made a snarky remark that I probably drink wine every night? I told her explicitly about my extreme dental fear and I remember her laughing/ scoffing when I expressed my fear. This made me pretty uncomfortable and it made me not really trust the place. I was told that I needed six or seven fillings and that it would be hard to do everything I needed and one appointment and that even one to two hours would not be enough time. They scheduled me for a cleaning a few days later and it went to have the cleaning and there was a substitute/float hygienist. She was extremely nice and I liked her. She was very attentive and seemed very thorough. I was disappointed that she floated from clinic clinic in that I wouldn't have her as a hygienist again because she was the kindest one I encountered at this dental office. I do remember that fluoride was NOT even offered. On my way out I asked the receptionist about it and she said oh it just probably isn't covered by your insurance then she flipped through some papers, (while acting like it was annoying to have to search through my paperwork) and then finally said yeah it's not covered if you want it's going to be a $40-50 charge. Eventually I ended up calling to schedule my appointment for fillings and was reminded of how unprofessional they were. I called and kept having to be put on hold while the receptionist spoke with the dentist or trying to find me a spot I was calling about 1.5 months before the end of the year and was reminded of how inconsiderate the staff was. I eventually ended up going to a different dentist all together and found out fluoride is and always has been covered by my insurance and that I only needed 1 filling and had 2 areas to watch. The dentist was very nice, asked if I had questions, offered a referral for TMJ massage and told me my teeth looked great. After having such a completely different experience at the other office that I am now established at, I thought it was my duty to tell other people about my experience in case others have had the same.
