Just picked up my new ionic five from Ed Voyles Hyundai and they only had one key for me. They said another key would be sent to me in a few weeks. I think that's a little weak!! and then the finance guy even charged me 3% when I use my credit card for the down payment . I thought that was pretty bad too so far I regret doing business with them. read more

If you're heading there for service beware, they try to fleece their customers thinking they won't do their research. Tim was the service writer I had the displeasure of dealing with on two occasions. the first one was a warranty engine replacement. everything went well until I went to pick up my car and they wanted to charge me close to 500 dollars for 4, yes 4 spark plugs that are on the top of the engine and easily accessible. I did have them install them since I figure 500 for a new engine is not too bad. fast forward to just under a year later. I went in for what I thought was a blown head gasket, should be a warranty item from the new engine or the CPO warranty. Thankfully it wasn't the head gasket, it ended up being the upper radiator hose. The plastic fitting that connects to the engine was cracked. Tim the service writer said that is was several hoses and the total would be about 1200 dollars. I looked up the part numbers on the estimate he sent me and noticed one of the parts was a metal heat pipe. I inquired because those don't "expand" as he said the hoses were doing. He then texts me that the mechanic gave him the wrong part number and he was working on getting the correct part number. Next text was that the rubber hose was more expensive than the heat pipe "but I'm going to make the mechanic do it for the same price". I was at this point seeing his attempt to fleece a knowledgeable customer thinking I'd just agree to have the work done so I asked for an estimate for just the one hose that was leaking which is the upper radiator hose. The estimate he texts me purposely cuts off the part numbers, he's thinking I don't know what hoses he's talking about. He prices out the hose with a more than 300% markup in price at 185.20 for a 56.00 part and the labor at 380.00 for a .5 labor hour job for an experienced mechanic. I replaced all the hoses and I'm not a mechanic, just mechanically inclined, in a total of 50 minutes. We were thinking of getting a new vehicle for our family and based on the multiple experiences at the dealer we will never purchase another Hyundai. Go elsewhere for you service needs if you own a Hyundai folks. read more

I was assured the vehicle I was interested in was in "great condition". no, it was not. The front fascia was hanging on by 3 clips and was broken in the middle. The drivers side front fender liner was in pieces. The car had multiple dents, scratches and clear indicators of abuse. Both headlights were cracked. The lower side panel under the door on the drivers side had a HOLE in it. Gidget the sales Manager is untrustworthy and is a perfect example why used car salesmen have the stigma of being liars and con artist. She had multiple chances to be forthright about the condition of the car before I wasted my time going to the dealership. read more

Service and parts department is terrible. My washer fluid reservoir would leak all the fluid out of my 2023 Santa Fe. Took it in and they said it was a bad hose and they would order it and let me know when it was in. 2.5 months later I called to see if was in and they never ordered it. Didn't even know what it needed. So they said they would just replace the whole thing and it would take a week to get it in and they would call me. Never got a call and can't get them to answer. Definitely find another place to buy a car and have it serviced. read more

Service department needs to get their act together. Scheduling appointment online was a failure because instead of a confirmation I got an email from sales about buying a new car. I needed a tire replacement but they didn't have the right one in stock on Friday. I was told I could get it installed on Monday and on the spare to not go over 50 mph. On Monday I went to have the new tire installed and I waited almost 2 hrs . I had to inquire after more than an hour of waiting when I saw my car had not been moved to the shop. I have never experienced such poor customer service at a Hyundai dealership. I will never go back there again. One star is generous on my part. read more

Sales staff will sweet talk you for hours and then pull the same old stunts by low balling your trade in and marking up their vehicle higher than it should be, just so they can drop their inflated price to make you feel better about getting ripped off. The service department is completely incompetent. They are indifferent towards the situation, rude and lack common knowledge about their department. They had my car 12 weeks that should have been two. Messages still not returned, rude service manager Kayla, that refused to give me her superior. She never followed up, gave inaccurate information. Delayed service by not ordering all the parts. I left 2 messages for Mike the service director and never received a return call. I would not recommend them and will not be going back. This is my second Hyundai from this location but I will never own another Hyundai due to this dealership's service. read more

So, I bought a car in January, and had many issues which the finance team assured me they'd help with, after I bought it. Not only didn't they help, but They ignored me completely. I brought my car back today for service and while there I looked at another car. I worked with Austin (who was awesome) because he ACTUALLY kept in contact with me. When I got home, The owner Matthew Laughridge (candidate for congress in 2020) "sent" me an email. It obviously was canned and had nothing direct connection to this person, but I responded and told him that it made me angry that he took time to respond when there was the smell of money in the air, and I called him a joke, i said I'd rather just deal with Austin, who was honest. The sales manager Eric Stallworth responded that they were "not dealing with me as a customer any more." I have the emails and will be happy to furnish to anyone who is interested. This type of tactic should be banned from business today. The fact that you can't take feedback about when you screw up and make it right, makes me ill. Do better Mr Laughridge. Mr Stallworth, this isn't the first time you were obnoxious to me, so I'm not surprised. But you should also do better in creating a customer experience. read more

Myself and my nephew went into Terry Reid this past week to purchase a car. My nephew a Airforce Serviceman just returned from the UK (The entire staff was very appreciative of his service to our country). We called Tillman he said he had what we wanted and he didn't lie. I brought my vehicle in for a recall alarm service update and since my brake lights have remained on. The whole experience was ridiculous. I came in at 9:00am and was told it takes 30 minutes to an hour and a half and that if it was longer they would call me. At 1:20pm mind you they close at 2:00pm I still didn't have a call and when I called I had to leave a message. I ended up calling again and decided to pick the car sales option and they had the service department call me back. I called trying to get them to take a look at it was was told they couldn't get to it for a week. I spoke to two gentlemen about coming and both were very uncaring and said there was no way anything could be related. My car was fine before the update and I found two small black piece (parts) on the floorboard of my drivers side after the service which I still have. The entire time I was there for service all they did was try to sell me another car and tell me I should get a new one etc and I feel this dealership is engaging in unfair business practices and intentionally making things go wrong with your car to try to get you to purchase a new one. read more

Very rude sales man. Not very welcoming. Stood at the lobby for around 10min while seeing employees working at the desk until some actually came just to say hold on making us wait for another 10min. Not long after that, no apology was even given. As we went through the process, the salesman was very lazy and put in no effort to help satisfy our needs in a vehicle. Definitely not coming back.
