Service is horrible. If you need anything, use Hyundai of Kennesaw, they are the best.

We had a great experience purchasing our 2022 Venue. Both Quantrell and Austin were top notch.

Was pressure-sold a 2026 CR-V pretty unethically in October by Cris! The moment I showed even a…read morehint of considering backing out of the deal I was met with "OH DONT WORRY YOU CAN JUST REFINANCE ITS FINE DONT WORRY" I in fact could not refinance! And I was exhausted into signing off everything without having time to think. I've since gotten a car from another place that I'm much happier with and that didn't employ predatory practices onto me to make a sale. Never again

I purchased my 2024 Honda Ridgeline from Shottenkirk Honda of Cartersville in December. I never did…read morea review after my purchase because I had mixed feelings regarding pressure sales for extended service warranties and pressure sales for a favorable review. I was told a negative review could potentially cause my salesperson (who was favorable) to lose their job. Today was my second maintenance service (5k & 10k). My oil changes are free (new purchase perk) with $35 out of my pocket for the tire rotation plus a 3% credit card usage fee. I mean really? You going to charge me a fee for not paying in cash? It was not clear if this is for all service costs. Note to self before coming back: Bank and/or ATM. The gentleman who checked me out quickly gave me the bullet points from the all point inspection stating I was going to need a brake service my next visit which would cost me approximately $409. I incredulously asked why a brand new auto with less than 10k miles would need any kind of brake service?! Of course he realized then he had the incorrect sheet. I can accept a mistake but from the minute I walked in, I felt I was imposing. Everything was zippy zappy except for the actual service. Ha! I asked for a car wash in the beginning and I was informed lightening fried the circuit board and the car wash would not be back in service until September. He additionally commented he wished he could get a free car wash too. It seemed a bit condescending. Maybe it was his inflection or dry wit? I only asked because it is part of the services offered. The last time I had my car serviced (5k) with an appointment, I had to wait an additional 15 minutes on top of the 2 hours & 5 minutes I had already waited because they failed to run it through the car wash. This visit was shy of a 1.5 hour wait with an appointment. I honestly would expect 1 hour at the most for an oil change and tire rotation. It was an improvement however over the 2 hours & 20 minutes the last visit. Yay Team! I noticed I did not get a stopwatch this visit. Ha! I choose to drive from Ellijay to Cartersville for service out of loyalty and two, because I want a Honda service department to service my Honda. The whole affair was tied with a bow when I get in and notice the next service sticker stuck crookedly with no care to remove the tacky residue from the last one. To me, it's a pride thing...treat it like it's yours... it takes only an extra minute to do the right thing that will make a big difference. In my opinion, (we all have em'!) but there is room for improvement. Plus, it may not be necessary to urge for good reviews. Just like the Field of Dreams.... Build it; they will come. It's not magic or sorcery... it's just good common sense and good customer service.

We had been looking for a vehicle to buy after leasing a vehicle from Matthew's of Cartersville…read more After months of searching we found EXACTLY what we were looking for, again at Matthew's of Kia online. We sent an inquiry and immediately receive a message from Alfy Hill welcoming us to the dealership. As soon as we pulled up he had the vehicle we were looking at running and ready for a complete inspection and test drive. Alfy was kind compassionate and understanding of our needs. We never once felt pressured or rushed. He gave us time to talk things out and make a decision that was best for us. After driving the vehicle and we made the decision we wanted to move forward with a purchase, Alfy made the process smooth and painless. He explained everything in detail so there were no surprises or questions. He answered all our absurd questions with all the knowledge he could provide, if he didnt know the answer he found it within minutes. Thank you Alfy for spending your time with us! Because of you, we have decided to remain in the Mathews of Kia family!

We originally came in to look at a Kia Carnival SX Prestige and made it clear from the beginning…read morethat we were short on time. We were upfront about our situation, including negative equity and less-than-perfect credit, and also stated that we were not planning to buy right now and were more realistically looking at a future timeline. Instead of respecting that, the conversation was redirected into a full sales process. We were told there might be more flexibility with EV inventory and were encouraged to keep going "just to see what could be done." That turned into over two hours of wasted time, back-and-forth, and false hope. During that time, our vehicle was photographed, information was gathered, and we were led to believe there was a real possibility of making something work. In the end, nothing was accomplished except an unnecessary hard credit inquiry and a very frustrating experience. The issue is not simply that a deal did not happen. The issue is that we were clear about our circumstances, our timing, and our limitations, yet were still steered deeper into a process that should have been stopped much earlier. If our situation was not realistic, that should have been said upfront instead of keeping us there and dragging it out. This experience felt misleading, time-wasting, and unprofessional. It also ruined what was supposed to be my husband's birthday because we lost hours to a process that went nowhere. My advice to anyone considering this dealership: be extremely careful. Do not let polite talk or vague promises pull you into a full credit process unless you are ready to buy immediately and have real numbers in front of you. We left with nothing except wasted time, frustration, and a hard inquiry on our credit.
