We were first told we couldn't be towed due to a miscommunication in someone believing we had a 5th wheel, when we actually just had a 5' × 8' trailer with us. Juan thankfully double checked this information and we got the message across of what the situation was. He arrived sooner than expected and got our car and trailer to the nearest dealer (in Clovis 1.5 hours away). The only reason I knew where the police sent it (2 hours away) is because of my tracking device. But it's no wonder when they are charging daily rates. So when I finally was able to get an update from my tracker, locate my car (reported stolen) which took me 3 days, my bill was over 700.00! On top of this the two hour commute from Raton to Dalhart was HORRIBLE because there is NO public or private transportation readily available. Essentially we were left stranded in a town with like a hotel and two gas stations, and nothing close by within hours, no vehicle and somehow magically we were to get two hours away to their tow shop. Well we did and we updated them multiple times along the way and we arrived around 10pm only to find out they were closed until 8am! We had JUST confirmed they were meeting us! So in Dalhart you'll find it's a run down town with a crappy hotel or two which we were forced to stay at. Another $100. AND THEN....8am the next day THEY BILLED US FOR ANOTHER DAY! GREED! And likely bff with the police which is why they were given the job. Fail. You suck.
