I've said it before about this place it is one of the few shops that actually make me feel good after spending $1k+ lol. While talking to them I had them give me a quote for doing a heater/evap core on the same vehicle anybody who knows how labor intensive that is knows it is no small job. They quoted me a little over $2k and I know they will do a great job on that as well whenever I bring it back in and they will get another great review. My original experience involved an oil leak following service, and a second repair facility documented an overtightened drain plug, incorrect washer installation, and resulting oil pan damage. The process of resolving the matter was lengthy and required considerable follow-up on my part. However, after the documentation was reviewed by management, they accepted responsibility, apologized, and reimbursed the repair costs in full. I am updating this review to reflect their efforts to ultimately resolve the matter.

I didn't expect to be in and out in literally 45 minutes but doubling the time plus some? These guys need to get their business together. People don't have time to waste like this.

Christian Bros prays on the religious and spiritual values of the general public. Here's some…read morehistory...the company was not started by brothers and their name was not "Christian". In my opinion they picked that name to attached it to the world wide religion. It was started in 1982 by a man named Mark Carr. So if you decide to use it them, don't do it because you like the name Christian. My elderly mom took her car in because the ac would blow cold only on one side...the other blew warm. She insisted on using them bc she thought they'd be more honest because of the name. Before she took it, I looked up the problem and the majority of the time it's a "blend door actuator" failing. I dug deep to find the possible problem. Meaning the hose that lets the air in the car swings has a door that swings from the heat to the cold (refrigerant) side when you change the settings. Usual charge for this replacement, according to the internet, is between $250-$450. They came back and told us it was a hose leaking refrigerant, and that hose required the entire front bumper to replace AND they'd have to "source" a hose bc the car was older. As in, auto parts stores wouldn't normally carry this part and they'd have to find one. The estimate they gave was $1100! We had no choice but to pay it bc my mom needs AC and she bought into the word "christian" in the name. Around 4:45 we gave them the ok to go forward. By 7:30 the next morning I got a text saying it was ready. So they somehow sourced the part, removed the bumper, replaced the hose, put everything back together in the time they close and open the next morning. She made the choice to go ahead and that's on us. BUT, Christian Bros did a comprehensive diagnosis on many of the parts, including struts, joints, battery, hoses (in that same time span they fixed the AC) that we didn't ask for it. We didn't complain because it was free. Or was it? One of the things they noted and tried to get us to address was the battery. They said it was failing. We said we'd come back for that later bc we just spent $1100. I suspected nothing was wrong with the battery bc it was only a year old and the car started fine every time. So I took it to Autozone and showed them the paperwork. They said CB was probably hoping to sell you a new battery, but he would test it. 100%. I took it for a second opinion at O'Reilly's and same answer and test result. This was pissing me off so I drove all the way to Garland to a independent mechanic recommended by a friend. Same answer. Battery is 100% healthy. So remember, free inspections are done to find something to sell you. Trust your instincts and buyer beware.

He and another mechanic told me to come by, and without hesitation they removed it for me completely free of charge. The customer service was incredible. I was in and out in less than five minutes, and they were so friendly and understanding, even with my less-than-perfect parking, lol! Jacob even let me know that if I ever needed help again, they'd be happy to help. On top of that, they took the time to show me exactly what tools and socket size I'd need if I wanted to do it myself in the future. It's rare to find people who are this genuine and willing to help without expecting anything in return. I'm so grateful for their kindness and would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

I brought in my 2016 Toyota 4Runner for an oil change and inspection. The techs were efficient and knew what they were doing. The lobby was clean, comfortable, and had a professional feel. I had some issues with the oil change place down the street, so I'm really glad this shop opened. Even as a walk-in, the service was fast, friendly, and thorough. I'll definitely be bringing all my vehicles here from now on!
