I was in and out with in an hour. As well as the emissions test, a free courtesy check on the vehicle was added. Waiting area was clean and cozy. I will definitely be taking my car there for future repairs!

In my opinion they picked that name to attached it to the world wide religion. It was started in 1982 by a man named Mark Carr. So if you decide to use it them, don't do it because you like the name Christian. My elderly mom took her car in because the ac would blow cold only on one side...the other blew warm. She insisted on using them bc she thought they'd be more honest because of the name. Before she took it, I looked up the problem and the majority of the time it's a "blend door actuator" failing. I dug deep to find the possible problem. Meaning the hose that lets the air in the car swings has a door that swings from the heat to the cold (refrigerant) side when you change the settings. Usual charge for this replacement, according to the internet, is between $250-$450. They came back and told us it was a hose leaking refrigerant, and that hose required the entire front bumper to replace AND they'd have to "source" a hose bc the car was older. As in, auto parts stores wouldn't normally carry this part and they'd have to find one. The estimate they gave was $1100! We had no choice but to pay it bc my mom needs AC and she bought into the word "christian" in the name. Around 4:45 we gave them the ok to go forward. By 7:30 the next morning I got a text saying it was ready. So they somehow sourced the part, removed the bumper, replaced the hose, put everything back together in the time they close and open the next morning. She made the choice to go ahead and that's on us. BUT, Christian Bros did a comprehensive diagnosis on many of the parts, including struts, joints, battery, hoses (in that same time span they fixed the AC) that we didn't ask for it. We didn't complain because it was free. Or was it? One of the things they noted and tried to get us to address was the battery. They said it was failing. We said we'd come back for that later bc we just spent $1100. I suspected nothing was wrong with the battery bc it was only a year old and the car started fine every time. So I took it to Autozone and showed them the paperwork. They said CB was probably hoping to sell you a new battery, but he would test it. 100%. I took it for a second opinion at O'Reilly's and same answer and test result. This was pissing me off so I drove all the way to Garland to a independent mechanic recommended by a friend. Same answer. Battery is 100% healthy. So remember, free inspections are done to find something to sell you. Trust your instincts and buyer beware.

On a trip back from OU she called saying something was dragging from the bottom and had pulled into a truck stop. I drove to Oklahoma got under the car and what was hanging was the lower splash shield which screws to the bottom of the chassis. Now here's what's relevant, to do a full oil change the lower splash shield must come off. . The following day after buying a new splash shield i jacked up the car and went to remove the damaged existing shield. Thats when I noticed the existing shield was missing attaching bolts and worse had been partly zip tied to the front air dam.. Final thought I had, who last serviced this car before our kiddo went off for her junior year at OU, Firestone in town. I never brought it up because I wasn't gonna ever go back there again. This was one of a succession of things that made me think. This was not a place I wanted to do business with any further. I make it a practice now to check every bit of work. That is done by anybody on our cars.Nobody is without error but this was clear negligence

Asked the manager to speak to the technician, who was sitting on his phone in the garage, and he wouldn't even give me an explanation or the time of day. Took in down the street 2 blocks to Just Tires and their manager inspected the tires and located the nail and gave me a very thorough explanation on the repair versus replacement. I purchased four new tires from him and had confidence in the decision. Will not be back with any of my cars and understand why their rating is so low with so many bad reviews.

I didn't notice the coupon was for 4 tires and apparently neither did they. After they called me to get my car, they provided me a quote for more than $2,100 telling me I had 7 critical issues. Only then did they tell me my coupon for tires couldn't be used. I paid full price for the tires, as I should, but paid over $100 in extra tire fees. They told me I needed a new battery but I had replaced my battery less than a year ago. My total bill was almost $200 more than I expected to pay. Update: I had a nice conversation with the location manager, Luis. He addressed all of my concerns and is working with me. His personal attention is greatly appreciated.

I told them I had an appointment time and they said, "You can't schedule an appointment in Texas for a vehicle inspection - it's illegal." I asked where it said that on their website. They ignored the question and added, "It's a $500 fine." I finally left, went down the road and got the check done at a Kwik Kar in about 15 minutes. I looked in the Texas Administrative Code, Title 37, Chapter 23 and the word "appointment" does not appear anywhere. I should have gone back and asked them if they are taught to lie in training for their positions behind the desk or if they do it on their own. I WON'T BE BACK.
