Great friendly man helped us with everything, he was really nice! Cars are amazing, and the prices are too, This dealer is the best I've went to!

Wow . Went to pick up a new Tesla and the service was superbbbbbb... we had been to Springfield NJ Tesla office and they didn't even smile :) Princeton Tesla has amazing employees who are very customer focused . The guy greeted us , and was with us showing the new car . In Springfield they said - your car should be in the parking lot at the back - go and pick it up yourself . Parking for guests was a problem . It was tight . If not , amazing location and super good service ..

Poor management

Don't do it to yourself!  I'm excited, its delivery day!  I completed everything on the App and it's time to go!  I get a text saying go to the car and your key is in it.  Im thinking this is great! But not to fast... they say I owed $.35.  I don't have the $.35 cents on me, but no big deal I have my credit card or someone will lend me a dollar.  I go to the manager he says I zeroed it out and rolled it into your payment it should be fine shortly.  Waited about 15 min and go back to let him know it says I don't owe but they're still not letting me in the car, he says wait...I wait another ten min and I approach a different person because he disappeared.  He goes back to get the other person and never returns.  So now they're both gone...when they both come back they said they can't and if I don't handle the .35 there's nothing they can do and I will lose my deposit if I don't get it handled. I then say to another person...hey I have an idea if you guys let me borrow 5 bucks I'll walk to PNC get a certified check for the $.35 go home and bring the 5 bucks back.  They said it's against company policy...I said OK I don't have an Uber account can you guys help me get home, I will handle it and come back, NO.  Well can I test drive it since it's used?  NO!  OK so you will not let me check the car out before finalizing, you won't assist me in getting the $.35 and you're keeping my deposit.  This was probably the weirdest car experience of my life.  It would be helpful if they just acknowledged they handled it wrong and give my money back but I highly doubt it.  So now I have to get it back from them myself, shameful. It was so embarrassing to sit there with a dead phone and no deal because of 35 cents.  Shame you you guys.  I've never seen poorer management in my life.  I wish I had seen the 3 stars before choosing this place. Picking up my Tesla and to my surprise I owed $.35 you know how dealers are but I figured $.35 cents is not bad.  The only problem is But I was dropped off and only had a cc.  They wouldn't accept it or cash only ACH or Bank Check.  I said great can someone please allow me to borrow. $5 and I'll give it back once I get I thought if I tried to clearly communicate my plight, eventually someone would step up and assist.  I wasn't asking for favors only guidance and support of which I've gotten neither. My BMW case manager made it clear that he will not be assisting with alternate transportation. Now I have no clue what's going on with my car in the shop, nor do I have a car to drive.  I know everyone is aware of this but it still baffles me how no one will help.

I've been in love with you from the start. I've admired you from afar. Every time you past by, you made my head turn. Every inch and from every angle, you are perfect in my eyes. As I drive you out of the dealership, I can feel that you're in touch with my every command. With every turn of the steering wheel, I can feel how smooth your moves are. I trust that I can relax and lean back a bit and let you do your thing. Oh yeah, turn that music on and let me feel how fast you can go...3-2-1. Due to the pandemic, a road test was not available when we were considering the Model 3. Every Tesla owner I spoke to told me how much they loved their cars. The decision was an easy one even without having ever driven one. So after waiting months, I finally get to pick up my new ride. I was so excited that I had a hard time sleeping the night before. This is my dream car. I read that most Tesla owners are in their 50s. Pick up was easy, you just have to go to the service desk and they will tell you to open your Tesla app and wait for it to say, "accept delivery". Once it's uploaded, all the other features will come onto your phone, sign some docs in the car and you're ready to go. With gas prices very high right now, I'm thrilled that we have transitioned to an electric vehicle. The way a car looks has always been a major factor in my decision. Tesla might not be for everyone but I love the clean lines and sleek futuristic look. And I am pleased that I upgraded the wheels, it made a huge difference. I love that jet engine sound every time I start the car. I'm in awe of the technology. Note: When purchasing a Tesla in New Jersey, there is no sales tax. All the more reason to get one. There will be no eating in my new car but boba drinks are allowed.

One of the supposed perks of buying a new Toyota is the inclusion of an initial service contract…read morecalled ToyotaCare which allegedly provides oil changes and tire rotations for the first 25,000 miles at six months intervals... at least that's what the salesman breezes through like an auctioneer when you ask him for details. In reality you get two oil changes since Toyota only recommends changes at 10,000 mile intervals. A mileage threshold that most reputable mechanics dismiss as ridiculously long especially for a four cylinder engine. What they've really created is a ponzi scheme to deliver your car back to the dealer every six months to check for warranty work that they profit from handsomely. And, perhaps more importantly to Toyota is getting you in the habit of bringing your car back to the dealer for service since the service department is the dominant profit center at most Toyota stores. This scheme all came to light when I dropped my car off for what I thought would be an oil change and a tire rotation and having them pronounce the service finished in ten minutes. Basically, they lifted the car up, took a look around and found nothing to fix under the warranty. When questioned, they defended their "comprehensive" check and sent me on my way. Ten minutes? It almost takes me as long to brush my teeth so, I'm calling BS to say nothing of their wholesale misrepresentation of the program. The moral of this encounter is you have to go through every document at time of sale with a magnifying glass. My fault, since I left my magnifying glass at home. Two stars.

It took more…read morethan 90 minutes to complete which is unsatisfactory when there is a scheduled time and the customer arrives 10 minutes early. Halfway into the 90 minutes the service writer came out and attempted to sell many hundreds of dollars of additional work which were declined. This appears to be nothing more that the dealership using the oil change as a way to sell significant and expensive additional work. EVERY service writer I watched came out to their customers and tried to sell additional work. This is probably pervasive in the manufacturer based auto industry, but that doesn't make it legit. I mentioned to the service writer that the local oil change shop could have done it in 20 minutes - his response was to disparage the hard working techs at the locally owned business as competent. I get mailings from this business almost weekly telling me what a good deal they will give me to sell them my truck. No way. They proved their true nature in this endeavor.

I've had the car only 9 days and 120 miles and by starting it on the 10th day I get 3 alerts on my dash and a check engine light. To summarize I brought it to the dealership to be diagnosed for the following morning. I was told the master break cylinder failed and they wouldn't be able to repair it for a month due to the part being back ordered. They also told me no courtesy vehicles are available and to get a rental and I'd be reimbursed at only $44 a day. I contacted GM corporate and opened a case to escalate the repair and to try and get a courtesy vehicle. It's since been silent on the dealerships end. So basically I purchased a brand new car that I'm paying for that I can not drive. And I have to go through the headache of getting a rental that I have to pay upfront for to hopefully be reimbursed for. If my car is kept more than 20 days I will be telling the dealership to keep it as I will declaring it a Lemon Law vehicle.

No matter what make or model you are looking for, there is a very strong chance they have it. What really stood out is the freedom to test drive multiple cars at your own pace. I test drove about six vehicles and even went back to retest one. Being able to take the cars out, get a real feel for them, and compare helped me make a very informed decision. I worked with an amazing team: Ross (sales), Steve (finance manager), and Sean (Shawn) in finance who handled the paperwork. Each of them made the experience exceptional. Ross was outstanding. I came in with only a general idea of what I wanted, more about the feel, power, and certain non negotiable features, and Ross listened carefully. Based on that, he curated an excellent lineup for me. After each test drive, he paid attention to my reactions and adjusted accordingly. He ultimately guided me to a car I had never even considered, but it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for, my dream car. Ross was patient, knowledgeable, and never made me feel rushed. He provided true customer service. When I noticed something slightly off with the brakes, he personally test drove the car to confirm my concern, and they immediately fixed the issue before I took delivery. Every question or concern I had, Ross handled quickly and professionally. He truly gets to know his customers, which is rare in today's car buying experience. Steve in finance was equally impressive. He came out, introduced himself, shook my hand, and focused on understanding my situation rather than pushing for a payment amount. He found me the best possible deal, even beating my pre approval, without excessive credit inquiries. He provided a detailed breakdown of every item before I signed anything and allowed me to accept or decline options with zero pressure. I was able to customize my package completely, which I have never experienced before. I walked out paying exactly what I expected, which is unheard of in car buying. Sean (Shawn) handled the paperwork and made the signing process smooth and stress free. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and provided copies of anything I requested. He kept the atmosphere relaxed and conversational, which really helped ease any anxiety. Even with multiple test drives and resolving a small issue, I was in and out in under four hours. That is incredibly efficient for such a thorough and personalized experience. Overall, if you are looking for an outstanding car buying experience, Auto Lenders of Princeton is the place to go. I came in unsure and left with a vehicle I absolutely love. I will definitely return again and again.
