The four of us all had different things, and nobody had any complaints. My breakfast burrito was a little unconventional (a green chili sauce and a spicy gravy on the side) but very, very good. SERVICE: Okay, friendly, maybe a little inexperienced. Also waited a long time to have the check-and-card picked up (ended up going to the front counter). AMBIANCE: It's a cafe. The windows overlook a big dirt parking lot. The place was clean and tidy, though, and I was looking for a good breakfast, not a luxurious setting. NET-NET: I would go back any time I was passing through. Our friends recommended it, and I will, too.

The food was fresh, local and out of this world amazing. We got the blue corn pancakes with wild blueberries. We all agreed they the were the best pancakes ever. I got the green chicken chili and the vegan sweet potato enchiladas. The food was so top notch we legit all wanted to drive back 1.5 hours a few days later for a repeat. This was the best meal we had on our 10 day trip. Make sure you call as the hours are funky and they are closed Wednesday and Thursdays. You will not retreat your decision to stop. PS The Bluff Fort was also a sleeper surprise for us. Standout of the trip.

Dinner time I ordered a Margarita Pizza and a (6) pieces of plain Chicken Wings with Buffalo sauce on the side. It also came with ranch dressing, carrots and celery sticks. The pizza was delicious, really good brick oven pizza! Chicken wings were very satisfying, lots of meat on them. Once I paid for the order, cashier gave me a buzzer, and it notified me when the food was ready. Pretty easy process!

For dinner, we ran into some issues with our food not being ready when the website said it was. So they gave us a buzzer and said they'd let us know when it was ready. That gave us some extra time to scope out the resort and get settled. We really enjoyed our pizzas. My youngest also loved her Red Bull Mirage with raspberry syrup and berries. I enjoyed the Lime Ricky with is a Starry with cherries and limes. We also ordered from here for breakfast. The Nutella French toast was great! I enjoyed mine with bananas and my youngest enjoyed hers with strawberries. My oldest liked her breakfast burrito. I also ordered a coffee, added chocolate, and it was unfortunately, not very good and I ended up tossing it. They have plenty of seating inside as well as outside. The place has a nice rustic feel to it. Can't beat the convenience and the views the resort offers.

We could hear the people stomping above us and our room wasn't cleaned every day unfortunately. Service was pretty good front desk guy was very nice(1 out of 2). Which is close to the arches and other parks. Slower and quieter neighborhood. We were given the first floor room right across the elevators. Less privacy when leaving and entering the room but was convenient to be able to enter and exit through the back door. Got a regular king room and it comes with a microwave, sink and mini fridge. The bed and pull out couch were so comfortable. Pillows were great. The shampoo attached to the shower wall did fall randomly when we first arrived but I reattached it and seemed to stay on. Continental breakfast includes a variety of juices, coffee, bagels, spread, a small yogurt bar, a variety of muffins and a staff member behind the grill offering you prepared scrambled eggs, chicken sausage and rosemary potatoes. Surprised no pancakes, waffles or cereal. Overall, yummy and gets the job done. The only thing that really bothered us was the TV connectivity. After a day of adventures and driving, we couldn't really relax with a show or movie. If we did, then it took about 10mins+ or we compromised and kept it on a show we finally got to work. Called the front desk a couple times for assistance and he explained to us that the hotel doesn't have a strong WIFI connectivity and that majority of guests are experiencing it as well. He did his best to help us out with an issue that's out of his control and we really appreciated it.

There are a few things that give me an indication of a well-run park. 1) Friendly caring staff 2) clean well-manicured RV sites and 3) The facilities are clean, well-ventilated, i.e. smell fresh and operational. Henries Hitch n Post excels on all 3! If these items are in order, you can pretty much expect the hook-ups are in order as well and they were. A note. As far as facilities are operational goes, if the park has a laundry facility my experience is there tends to be some "out of order" machines the majority of the time. Not here! The laundry room has over 10 machines and 10 dryers (didn't count) and everyone one is operational. Wow! First rate. As for the human touch, its amazing. Our short stay turned into an unanticipated longer stay due to a family emergency. Immediately the managers Ed and Beth were on top of things to assist in helping me. The emergency required some family help and Ed and Beth made sure they could stay on site so we could be close together. My instructions from them were take what time you need to address your situation and don't worry about other things we got you. This amazing hospitality and concern for us was such a big help. I told friends and family about this and a common comment is small town hospitality. Yes, probably some of that but it's mainly Ed and Beth. That's the type of people they are. Warm, caring and sincere with big hearts.
