After several hours on the road, Buc-ee's was exactly the monotony breaker we needed. It's much more than a gas station or convenience store--it's a destination in itself. We found ourselves wandering the aisles much longer than we planned, and honestly, that was part of the fun. The entire establishment was exceptionally clean and well organized despite the steady stream of travelers. The staff we encountered were friendly, welcoming, and kept everything moving efficiently. One thing that really stood out was the cleanliness of the restrooms. They were spotless and among the cleanest I've ever seen at a travel stop. After hours on the road, that's something travelers genuinely appreciate. We stocked up on road-trip essentials, grabbed a few snacks and souvenirs, and headed back onto the highway feeling refreshed for the final stretch to Bristol. Buc-ee's isn't just a place to fuel your vehicle--it's a place to recharge yourself. Highly recommended, and I'll happily stop at another Buc-ee's whenever I get the chance.

Like other spots I've reviewed though you end up trying to take your life in your own hands if you attempt to walk anywhere but towards the main 'mall' portion of the complex. The access road has no sidewalks/crossing and is treated like a raceway by the locals. Your kids either need to be light or fast to cross the roadway to get to the Starbucks and there are no sidewalks so you have to dodge cars racing to get in line or cutting through the O'Charlies. Wish more areas would realize cars and pedestrians don't mix well and add some support for walking.

You might not see it from the road, but it's a very quiet location and very well lit. I felt fully secure, even late at night coming here. It looks very nice and well maintained.. There is no garbage laying around and they have trash cans behind the facility. it is very conveniently located not far from the interstate and open 24 hours. The only downside I see is that the cords are very short and you have to back fully up in the parking spot or the cable won't reach your charging port.

Probably the best I have had at a Whole Foods in quite some time. Parking was ample at this location and boy did they need it when I visited. The lot was packed and it was wall to wall people inside at this location. Everything looked full and fresh and well presented throughout. It was nice to visit this location. It's kind of hard to see from the interstate. So don't miss pulling off here if you are in town..

Pushy people at the check out line acting like I was in there way - even though my transaction was not completed yet and I was trying to get my bags. And the in a rush young people fulfilling Amazon Orders for Prime or trying to stock the shelves - I can't tell you how many times I have been treated as is I was an impediment to what they are trying to do even though I am a paying customer trying to navigate my way through the store. it gets to me sometimes. There are too many people trying to shop in this store for the size of it. Too many people "In a Rush" to get on with their lives. I do feel like I am back up in the North East sometimes when I go there. The best times to shop are during Tennessee Game Days or on a Tuesday night of all things. I go there because they do have things that other markets in the area do not have - fruits, vegetables, organic products. I do like the fish market guys. I do like certain cashiers and try to always go to them. I do like being able to find certain products there that I cannot find anywhere else - . I do like their supplements. There are things I do like. But the whole Prime thing (order fufillment) has put a huge black mark by the shopping experience. They really need to train their restocking people to be mindful of the customers and to be a little nicer while they do it. But between trying not to get run over in the parking lot when I am trying to get into the store and not getting run over while I am in the store by the oh so many busy people in there, it has gotten to where my stress levels goes straight up when I shop there. What I will do is try to go during off hours, and I do try to do that. But this is a pattern. My opinion is that for the amount of customers they have and the amount of order fufilment they do - the store probably needs to be twice as big as it is. I gave them three stars - but like I said - it is always a stressful experience for me.

We had looked at a place on Arnold AFB, but at the time it was government shutdown and so there was no chance of that happening. It would have been interesting to stay the night there though. So we went into town, and looked around at various places. The Best Western was the best fit for us, so that is where we went. Check in was an easy process, no issues there, and the room was clean and appropriate. Pricing was good, particularly since they honored a price I had been set by another vendor. We slept well, and glory unto glory, the shower had a decent shower head in it that allowed for a proper shower, not one of these rain shower heads that are absolute garbage in my book. If we were to ever come through this area again, we would absolutely consider the Best Western.

As we walked in there were plenty of unpleasant surprises. Including spiderwebs in the corner of the ceiling, the air vent being full of suspicious solids including hair maybe? Cocoons?? Bugs??? Who knows. The couch was dirty and hideous, the floors and toilet were dirty, and there a very weird stale smell wafting through the air. The cherry on top of the awful room was the straight-from-a-horror-film exposed brick cut-outs in the wall. However, onto the only positive of the stay: Karen at reception. She was so kind to my mom during her first stay at this hotel, and this visit too she was patient, kind, and empathetic. If you do stay at this hotel, make sure to try and look for Karen at the front desk. She was the one thing that made this experience somewhat enjoyable. If you choose to stay at this property, be sure to check your room before you unload all of your belongings.

Anthony and his wife went above and beyond any words I can describe. The pictures don't do it justice either. I had my mother, teenage son and daughter with me and we felt like we were at my Uncle's cabin on the lake. The hospitality was above and beyond, they had everything we hadn't thought of, and we weren't nickled and dimed for anything. You HAVE to add the boat cruise/entertainment to your stay. I've been all over and this Lake is massive, absolutely gorgeous and CLEAN. Forget Cumberland, Center Hill, Chicamauga, Percy Priest and others. Anthony showed us all the islands, several great swimming spots, numerous picturesque scenes, and more. The facility has memory foam mattresses, everything you need and they just continued to share their hospitality showing us how things were built, their amazing gardens and mountains. We know we will return and are already looking to plan our next trip, maybe this time take him up on one of the island stays where you get to boat, but they set you up completely on a private island to be able to take in a sunset, enjoy the entire lake and nature experience, but in true glamping fashion.
