Ok, after SIX weeks, this dealer finally came up with…read moremy forms that I signed and am legally supposed to have copies of anything I sign, pertinent to the purchase of my used car. I finally had to resort to threatening them with having an attorney send a demand letter for the pages. The people at Nissan of NA told me I would have to send this letter to THEM!!! And, they mad it abundantly clear they would do NOTHING to help me with the dealer as it was privately owned. So, getting the pages from them, including the CARFAX report upped this review from * to **! Still not good, but when I finally put the need in words the sales manager could understand, it went from "we don't do this" to "we shred these forms" all of which I know is bogus. If they are legal forms, acknowledging I understood the purchase, they cannot shred them. So, I told him "If you buy a house, you get all copies of pages you signed, including ones you put your initials on every page, even blank ones" therefore, you have them and you will give them to me. Bottom Line: I finally got the CARFAS and TEN pages I signed! And, I no longer have any reference advertising the dealer on the back of my car!

We were towed to Cumberland Auto Center, and they saved us. Being 2 days before Christmas, the part needed was not going to arrive overnight. Kris and the team got the part ordered, put us in a loaner vehicle, moved all our luggage and coolers from the Wagoneer to the loaner, and got us back on the road in a few hours. ******** (More stars!)…read more This place truly stands out for service above and beyond. I own a really rare vehicle and had a leaking heater core that cannot easily be replaced. After searching the web for weeks I finally spoke to a custom shop that said they could build a replacement from scratch but couldn't quote a price at the time. He recommended I call Cookeville Radiator. I called yesterday morning and spoke to Howard, the owner. I described my problem and he said "No problem", that he could fix it or build a replacement. I considered shipping it but it's only a 2-1/2 hour drive and I wanted to meet Howard so we jumped in the car and made the trip. The shop is what you would have seen 50 years ago so I knew I was at the right place. When we went in the office, Howard was at his desk finishing his lunch. He greeted us like family and after a friendly chat asked to see the core. He took a look and asked if we could hang around for a bit and they'd get it fixed right then! Amazing! We went out into the shop and while one of his guys worked on our part he gave us a tour of the shop and passed the time with us while the repair was done. 45 minutes later we left with the repaired heater core in hand and a smile on our faces knowing that a place like this still exists. If you have a radiator or heater core that needs work, this is THE PLACE to go!

At first, the owner tried to encourage me to go much further to my home instead of taking me to a…read morelocal mechanic in Gordonsville or Carthage because he said he didn't trust or recommend any of the local mechanics, which may or may not be good advice. I don't know. (He said that he would have charged me $300 to take me to my home.) After checking on Waze that it was 14 miles to my church, the owner told me that he was gonna charge me $150 so I decided to be dropped off there instead. He did come relatively quickly and was quick to get us off the side of Interstate 40. He touted his company and bad mouthed 2 of his competition, Dale's in particular, saying that they wouldn't have come out at 9 pm on a Friday night. When he dropped me off at my location, he told that we had went over 6 miles but that he wasn't gonna charge me for the extra miles. He proceeded to charge me $176.80. But after checking my Waze app this morning, the total miles was exactly 14.8 miles (see pic below). He lied to me about both the extra cost and the extra miles. Be careful to use your mileage app when using any towing company. I should have used mine before I let him charge me the extra money. Actually, I should have called Dale's Towing. I wouldn't take the owner of B&D Towing at his word. If he lied to me to get an extra $26.80, I would imagine that he'll do the same to you.

Had just bought this RV and was on my first short excursion. The vehicle was running fine and then…read morestarted loosing momentum so I pulled to the side of the road. 300 dollars later I was towed to Don's RV in Cookeville. They had my RV a week, at first he said it had a bad fuel pump which was in the gas tank, and finally he told me the vehicle was actually "out of gas" and that the fuel indicator gauge was not indicating properly. He billed me twenty (20) dollars for gas he added, and on top of that, he billed me over 800 dollars for diagnostics----- after a week of having my vehicle he had not affected any repairs. The fuel pump wasn't broken and was working fine. The fuel gauge on the dash was the true culprit and he neither repaired or replaced it. Nor did he even try to source the part. I only paid him to ensure I got the keys to my rig. I would in no way recommend this business for any service to anyone. If I could, I would rate this business less than a quarter of a Star.
