The salad stuff was fresh and the dressings were all good. On the hot side of the buffet they had chicken friend steak, ham, turkey and dressings, bbq brisket and friend chicken. Everything was excellent! The sides were all great. I imagine their homemade pies are amazing but I was too full to try any of them! I will 100% be back anytime I am nearby!!!

First, the service was excellent, I believe our server was named Presley. Very kind, always checking on us and keeping our water and tea full. On the buffet, my dad enjoyed the salad he had, but was surprised at the little variety offered that day. He said last time he was there with my brother there was more to choose from. He then got the fried chicken, which was greasy and barely any chicken on the thigh. I tried to find a drumstick but it was just breasts, thighs and a few wings. He did like the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. As for the fried okra, you have to eat it fresh. It is sitting under a heat lamp just makes it soggy and slimy. I ordered 4 vegetables a la carte which came out to be as much as the all you can eat buffet. First, their onion rings are OUTSTANDING! So is their homemade ranch. What was disappointing was the green beans, they definitely came out of a can and were heated. At $3.99 I expected fresh. There may have been a small piece of onion in it. Not sure if that was how it was cooked or if it fell in from another dish. The black-eyed peas were tasty. I also had a cup of the chicken corn chowder which was good. However, there was pieces of cubed chicken in it which also made me think that it was a prepackaged soup and not homemade. My dad got the coconut cream pie, which tasted good, but could have used more coconut then just on the top. He wanted bread pudding or peach cobbler, however at the time of day we were there, they had been picked over way too much, not leaving much for anyone else to enjoy. I did like the selections in the gift shop and purchased a tea towel before we left. I always like to try a place 3 times so I may stop in and try something else. Again, great customer service.

All of them have wonderful and friendly employees for starters! They have great food and awesome treats I can't live without. I always find either clothes or gifts there for me and my friends!! Every experience I've ever had there has been very positive.!! If you're in Texas within an hour or so of a Buc-ee's, "GO" experience it you won't regret it! I gave this review five stars but for some reason it's only showing one. I can't seem to change it. I apologize.!

The coffee station was my favorite. They have a wonderful array of creamers, and different type of sweeteners. We got lattes, thankfully, I was able to add some white chocolate sauce to it, which was really good. I also got breakfast burritos, but wish they had only egg and cheese instead of egg bead and cheese. I did like the green and red salsas that I had with it. I asked for a bag from the person at the counter, and they went to get me a basket-- that's amazing customer service in my book. We did the essentials-- use the bathroom grab ice and fill the tank. Great location and great service.

I walked in planning to spend maybe 20 minutes max just to buy a few souvenirs, snacks, and a few things to take home to my kids and family. Shortly after I walked in, I was approached and told I wasn't allowed to be there because I came in a semi truck. I explained that I was only going to be inside for a few minutes to buy a few items, but I was told they would not allow me to purchase anything. I was also told, "Unfortunately truckers are not welcome." Those were his exact words. That was extremely disappointing to hear. Truck drivers are a huge part of what keeps this country moving. We deliver the products businesses sell every single day, including the products sitting on Buc-ee's shelves. To be told we're not welcome and not even allowed to make a purchase is sad and frustrating. Because of this experience, I will never return to Buc-ee's again, not even in my personal vehicle. I'd much rather spend my money at a truck stop or any business that welcomes everyone and appreciates the people who help keep America moving.

What most maps won't show however, is that this particular station is located in an elevated lot, which is essentially the roof of Woody's Smokehouse - Northbound (#1) directly across from the Shell gas station (#2). While the restaurant / gas station is located on St. Mary's St just off of I-45, one will still need to turn into N Fwy Service Road and drive up a slight incline hill to reach the lot. The supercharging site has a dozen Tesla stalls charging at 250kw along with another dozen stalls dedicated to Rivian vehicles. The lot is expansive -- great for space but less so when heat is bouncing off the concrete in full force. The other bit of good news? Woody's Smokehouse is kind of cool. Without going too hard into a review, they've got a good mix of spacious bathrooms, souvenirs for last minute gifts, and a nice selection of BBQ and comfort foods. I'm never going to be mad about stopping to charge the vehicle while perusing all there is to see at Woody's. Not all charging stations / rest stops are created equal but I have to give this Centerville stop a thumbs up for being more than adequate. It's not too crowded and there are bins for garbage disposal. First off, the bathrooms are legendary for a reason--hands down the cleanest, most private, and most abundant stalls and urinals you will ever find on the highway. Outside, the sheer number of gas pumps means you never have to wait, and they even have a great car wash on-site. Inside, it feels like walking into a massive, one-stop-shop mall. If you need it--or if you forgot to pack it--they have it. They're selling everything from outdoor gear, deer stands, and lawn chairs to high-end Ray-Ban sunglasses and beautiful home decor. Then there's the food. You can smell the roasted pecans and smoked meats the second you walk in. The chopped brisket sandwiches are amazing, and the snack selection is endless--wall-to-wall jerky, fudge, and every road trip snack you could ever long for. Despite how busy it gets, the staff is always incredibly friendly, helpful, and fast. Everything is a fantastic value for the quality you get. Walking around this store just to see what they have is half the fun. Buc-ee's is hands down the best!
