If I understand correctly ( which I may not) the federal government has eliminated the tax credit for the purchase of electric vehicles yet opportunities to charge these cars are abundant. I see a major contradiction here. My preference at the present time is that I would buy the most affordable car electric or gasoline powered. Incidentally, this EV charging station will service four cars simultaneously.

Two technicians arrived right on time, and hit the ground running. A quick check from inside the rv of the power to the unit confirmed that the motor had indeed frozen up. Within minutes they were up on the roof with a new motor that they had brought with them. After about 30 minutes or less, they were down and checking that everything was running well and that the unit was cooling As it should. They were both very professional and made sure that all was well before they left. Every other gas station that sells pure gasoline charges upwards of .50- .80 cents more for this stuff compared to their ethanol added gas. The only requirement to purchase this is that you must go inside the nearby store and prepay. This a well kept secret that I only discovered while nosing around.

Due to the economic shutdown associated with Covid, there were numerous problems with even seeing an RV like we wanted. Keith found one and got us in to see it. He was great to work with in selecting the equipment we wanted, as well as working with a price for the unit. The same great attitude was present with several people we came in contact with. The finance guy was super easy to work with. No nonsense. On one occasion we stopped by and a saleswoman took us through our newly arrived RV even though it was pouring rain outside. We spent several hours with a technical guy who went over all the details of the vehicle... They did an excellent job in prepping the coach for us. As we picked up the vehicle, we also did some shopping in their in store shop. There are a number of things that you need before heading out and these guys have several choices of each... Very convenient. We have had it out once and have a very few items that need adjusting. They have set up an appointment to drop it by and have all the bugs fixed.

Volkswagen of Spartanburg almost single handedly restored my confidence in the company. I got a basic oil change and tire rotation at their service center. From the moment I walked in the door, all employees were incredibly professional. They advised that the oil change is going to take longer than usual and apologized for that. The oil change didn't take that long. You know the really amazing thing? This shop didn't stop to waste my time trying to upsell me on further repairs. They asked "Is the oil change and tire rotation all we're doing today?" and actually respected my answer of "yes, please." They simply did their job, got me out of there, and printed their recommended service items that weren't tackled on my receipt. Holy crap, I don't remember the last service center that identified issues but didn't try to upsell me on them. This Volkswagen dealership is amazing. Is it enough for me to buy my next Volkswagen from them? Honestly, probably not. I have no desire to drive another Volkswagen. That said, as long as I'm stuck with my VW, they will be my go-to for any repairs/maintenance that I need.
