After waiting all day for an oil change, was told the rotors were scored and the pads were wrong and my brake flyid was shot. They replaced the brakes unDer warranty and I paid for the brake fluid replacement. Another entire day lost. A week later, my manual clutch feels spongy. Maybe its just me I thought...until tonight (saturday), and my 2020 124 spider wont go into gear. Ai told me there was likely an air bubble in the brake/clutch fluid. Ofc the shop isnt open until monday. Frantically i called mobile mechanics to bleed my slave cylinder. Jeremy texted me back immediately after missing my call to confirm he could do it. An hour or so later, he bled the system but only half the gears worked. He then suspected a linkage misalignment, and broke down the console to realign it manually. Half hour later, all gears worked. 2 for 2 in less time than my oil change took at the other hellhole. Jeremy saved me thousands because another shop would have replaced my clutch, then the entire transmission, and potentially STILL miss the bleed and linkage. I ultimately ended up working with Irwin who took care of the paint job on my car and was very pleased. Irwin was SO very kind and respectful. The paint job was not a huge or complicated so he was able to complete the job at my house. Huge convenience and benefit!!!
