Dealing with parking is still worth the pain over driving to the other OC chargers for no reason. You live, work, or travel to Irvine for a reason why would you want to go anywhere else. Enjoy the bubble. Located on the second floor of the garage. Drive past LA fitness to the garage entrance and drive up the ramp as if you are trying to make it to the 3rd level. You will find the location on the 2/3 level right before the ramp. In other words keep going up. You won't see it otherwise because the superchargers are in a line so there are no visible Telsa logos. If you see a another Tesla follow it. Great job Tesla but we need more... I'm going to rant for a moment because Irvine is #5 on Tesla emissions saving chart with possibly the highest per cap concentration in a CA city hub. Irvine has a ton of commuter traffic, travelers both business and personal, multiple Universities and local residents and not too far from Disneyland. Cough! We need more superchargers. I will charge at home but think of all the Tesla fam that might live in an apartment or want to go electric. Very frustrating experience…read more When I entered the parking garage, I followed the instructions and entered the access code. The gate opened immediately, so I assumed that was all I needed to do. Since I was only there to use the Tesla chargers, I believed a parking ticket was not required. It's also possible that the parking system did not function properly and failed to require or issue a ticket before opening the gate. When I was leaving, I was asked to provide a parking ticket. I explained what happened and asked if they could verify my entry using my license plate, entry time, or charging records, or offer any other solution. Instead, I was told that without a parking ticket I had to pay the highest parking rate. What made the experience even worse was the staff member's attitude. When I pointed out that this could have been a problem with the parking system, he told me he didn't care whether it was my fault or the system's fault--I still had to pay the highest fee. He made no effort to help or offer any reasonable solution. If the parking system is confusing or malfunctions, customers should not be forced to pay the maximum parking fee because of it. Between the poor system and the dismissive customer service, this was a very disappointing experience. I hope management fixes the parking process and trains staff to handle situations like this more professionally.
