Although I'm sure there are some exception cases, after deep dive research, I'm 100% convinced that hardwired EVSEs are safer and more stable than just plugging a Level 2 mobile charger into a NEMA 14-50R 250v outlet (as we'd done with the Tesla, because that was the standard in 2018). Andy did a great job communicating with us and then prepared a fairly priced sensible proposal. With Max, their highly experienced journeyman electrician, scheduling and install went smoothly. The work passed its Seattle DCLU electrical inspection. Now two-weeks later everything is working as expected. Note: I also used Puget Sound solar 24 years ago, so I'm a returning customer. He offered me a matched price on the wall box charging unit that Costco is selling for $499, which is about $200 less than Amazon, and we had the installation done about a week later.
