I brought an elderly and disabled friend there today because she just needed a lightbulb changed in her old lamp from the 1970s. The young lady who helped us was so sweet, and went the extra mile to take time with my friend and understand what she needed and listen to her stories. She found the correct bulb (an unusual size and wattage) and when it came time to check out, she said, "You're good to go." My friend kept insisting on paying, but the employee was adamant - said to enjoy our day and come back soon. It really was an exceptional experience. You just don't get that much anymore. I've been a customer at Lamps Plus for several years, but they've earned me for life after today.

They showed up right on time and got right to work. They did everything quickly and pleasantly and exactly as asked; they even figured out stuff that I wouldn't have been able to explain--even though all the equipment was already here, it wasn't stuff they sold. Great communication, super organized, and honestly just really fun people to have around. They were fantastic to work with, super friendly, showed up on time, and the lights turned out beautifully. What I really appreciated was how kind they were to my toddler, who really really wanted to be involved. They gracefully took the water he aggressively forced upon them... Lol. They made him feel important and were incredibly patient. You don't forget that kind of kindness. And I have to say that their Grateful Dead logo made my day. I visited because my thrift store bought standing lamp broke where the shade connects to the light socket, damaging the wire also. Didn't really know much about the lamp except is was a heavy, quality, unique piece worth fixing. Took it in and they were able to tell me it's a European lamp with an usual size of socket threading, but they found a solution and it was rewired and ready to pick up in under 2 weeks! Well guess what... I put the lampshade on and adjusted it too tightly and the socket cracked... then 2 days later our large 2X3 foot painting fell, knocking over the lamp (shade was not attached at the time) damaging it further and we had picture frame glass shards everywhere! Not our lucky day. We took the lamp back and they had a stronger socket. Our lamp shade was large and too heavy for the first one. Now it's fixed and looking great. Thanks LUXE team, you are great!

The piece has been brought to life and the glow of it feels like my mother is smiling on me. One of the flowers was broken and the enamel was flacking off all over it. I couldn't even tell you which flower had been broken! The old wire has been replaced and I feel safe having it in my home. I will enjoy this piece for the rest of my days, and when I'm gone hopefully one of my brother's sons will want to enjoy it. Thanks Luxe!
