It's in the north side parking lot for the River at Rancho Mirage which is a small but nice outdoor mall with many large chain dining options like cheesecake factory, P.F. Chang's, and a movie theater. Busy because it's in a prime location. Could probably use a few more stalls here. read more

First time at this Tesla Supercharger location at Rancho Mirage. We visited this location twice on a weekday and a weekend. Both times there were plenty of charging stalls available for charging. The great part about this location is that it's covered especially in the desert heat of 113 degree weather. You're charging under a shaded covered area so you don't feel the rays or the sun while in the car. Will definitely frequent this Tesla Supercharger when in Palm Desert. read more

Came here around 0615 one morning. It was still kind of dark. As a solo female traveler I felt safe here, as there were already 2 other drivers here charging. And then when 0640 rolled around, multiple drivers started pulling in to charge. I didn't notice any services here such as food or restrooms but I didn't get out of my vehicle to walk around either. These are slower chargers but that's ok. read more

This charging station is located in the northern parking lot of the River at Rancho Mirage shopping mall. I came here to charge the Tesla as the Indio location had no vacancy. There's a lot more charging stalls at this charging station. They don't have the higher speed chargers here, but they're still pretty fast. There are several different restaurants in the mall if you want to eat something while you wait. I opted for getting an ice cream cone at Ben & Jerry's. Even though this location was quite a ways south of the 10 freeway, it did make for a good backup location in the case where the Indio station was full. read more

Our charger worked flawlessly and was "super fast" It is a great perk to have such support from Tesla to enable Tesla drivers to take road trips without range anxiety. read more

Excited to see a bona fide Tesla Supercharger in the Palm Springs / Rancho Mirage area! The location of this Supercharger is open, clean, easy to access, and looks brand new. Most of the chargers are under a covered parking structure, with what appear to be solar panels. So you can recharge your electric car while chilling underneath a source of renewable energy. Very "cool" (ha) and definitely green! There are 24 charging stations here, which is more than enough to ensure that you will get a slot if you need one. The River mall is a very short distance, i.e. 50 yards, away. So if you need some refreshments during business hours, it's super easy to find what you are looking for. Even though these look like the smaller urban chargers, The charging speed was pretty good. I was the only Tesla around when I came by on Tuesday morning, but I'm sure once word gets out about this charger there will be a lot more people stopping by here. Five Stars! read more

Came to this supercharging station and it was fantastic! Shaded spaces, refreshment vendor nearby and well maintained. While here, a Tesla service tech named Manny approached me and said 'I'm here from Tesla...is there anything I can do or answer for you?' Nice superchargers outside of a mall with many food options/shopping. Only 72 kwatt urban chargers but no waiting and I've charged there several times since we are in Palm Desert for 2 weeks.... But it is August in the desert. read more

This locations has quite a few stations and I was able to charge about 100 miles in 20 min for free. Also great they are open 24 hours. They are near shops so if you don't want to sit in your car for 20 min you can do a quick run out. However, there is a warning if you leave your car over 5 min after it has charged you may be charged a fee. read more

Found this great spot to supercharge to 100% near Shadow Ridge, had lunch at Cheesecake Factory and was done in an hour from 40% and made it home to Orange County without stopping to supercharge again. Will definitely go back to this spot to supercharge next time we vacation at Palm Desert. read more
