I came in desperately needing a battery. Lucky for me they had what I needed. At first things were a bit rough (not due to them) because my battery terminal was being extremely difficult to remove due to age, heat, and corrosion but the super dedicated employee Josh didnt give up, he kept at it with cleaner and time and patience until slowly but surely it came off without any damage or anything which he warned me was a reason he wasnt sure he could do it. But he did! Saving me time and money that I cannot express how much I appreciate! Also he made sure I got the right size battery! I am so eternally grateful to him, I know it may seem small but to me this made my whole day so much easier and better! I will always remember this and this Autozone for this service. Unfortunately I won't be returning to this Autozone after being a long time costumer here. Went in for help with a headlight and they're apparently not allowed to check or change that for costumers anymore. Also said they're not allowed to disclose why they can't, which is odd since I was there three months ago and had that same headlight replaced by a worker. Also couldn't pull up my account to check or exchange that same headlight since AGAIN it was brand new three months prior. Also went back in after repurchasing the bulb for a refund in which yes it was opened they also denied me of that as well. Ended up going to La Quinta Autozone where they both checked my headlight AND gave me a refund without hesitation. I don't know if your staff just doesn't want to work or let alone go outside because of the heat but they chose to apply and work there no one forced them of that. :) read more

If it says they close at 10 don't waste your time going at 9 or 9:30 I saw them tell someone that they where closed and pull gate to side then once they left they open again then I went to cvs real quick since saw a customer go in after i got out but while I pull up the some employee was pull the gate to side again and asked the guy if they were closing when I saw a customer go in and he goes pull gate to side and asked em like 3 times if they where closing Just kept on ignoring and starring ps he was able to hear me but was acting a fool read more

Would not recommend this location. I went to get windshield wipers replaced before a 9 hour long roadtrip. The kid changing them dropped the wiper and cracked my windshield, great. I then wait 20 minutes in the store listening to them give the kid hell for not following policy and run around to figure out what to do next. The manager finally gets to me and says they will reimburse me for a replacement. I have less than 48 hours on a holiday weekend to get a replacement before my trip. I call 8 places who all say they cannot help me in such little time so I go with safelight(who were awesome and squeezed me in). I call the store to let them know I have my receipt and I'm coming in for my reimbursement and they are rude on the phone and try to make it harder on me to submit my receipt. So I go in store and the manager Hector says he can't give it to me until it's approved by his district manager and he most likely won't be available until after the new year! I asked him if the store has a policy for this knowing they do because the manager the day before had told me they do. He says yes but that he still can't help me. I have no money, the money for my trip was used to replace my windshield and I'm supposed to leave tomorrow morning at 6 am. I went through hell to get this all done and spent all my money I had just because I went to this store so save yourself from an experience like mine and keep driving passed this location. read more

I like coming to this location because Roger the store manager always gives me great service! He has a good staff and his store is always clean and organized. I came in today in the morning he did not have the part I needed. Roger told me I'll have it by 12pm he called me at 10am to let me know that he has my parts ready. I was WOWED by his service! Bought a premium battery a year ago that cost me over $200. It came with a 3 year warranty. After one year, the battery failed to hold a charge for more than 5 days if the car was parked for that long. I returned it for a pro-rated refund. The clerk asked what that was. I told him, but he said the warranty was only for a battery replacement. I agreed to take a replacement battery but he then stated that he had to give me a smaller battery because my premium battery was discontinued (their web-site says they are out of stock). Upon reviewing their battery products on-line, I found that they do not offer pro-rating on any batteries except for one. I won't be Buying any more batteries from AutoZone in the future because their warranties stink. Think I will be patronizing their competitors from now on. I have subsequently bought a great battery from Costco for half the price and a super warranty with pro-rating on every battery they sell. read more

I went in the store, asking if someone can assist me on a check up on the juice left on a battery. 2 employes immiadately said they will be happy to assist me, after doing a diognose on the battery they informed me that I indeed needed a battery to my supper old car. They never pruessured me into anything and tottaly let me pick on a battery that was very reasonable to my budget. Due to my car being so old the gentemen struggled to get my car back started, he never gave up, outside in 110 degree weather , never did he stop trying he was sweating excessively, I felt so specal, when he got my car up and running with my brand new battery. Theese guys were supper busy in the store, I dont know how they juggle such stress, but they do it with a smile. Special blessing to this Indio store they Rock !! Wow, what an experience. Dealt with Raul and he was class A all the way. Really helpful with an incredibly good attitude. But, the next day went back for more parts and got a guy named Roger, he was as rude and wierd as they come. Literally, he was attitude from the first words outta his mouth. Kinda ruined the experience of good treatment. Rule of thumb Roger, never bite the hand that feeds you.
