Amazing service we got from Thomas and Luis !!! My mother has been carless due to some miss parts she needed for her truck getting serviced we might if gone to at least 3 other stores till we came across this location located on Hwy111 across from el super. They went above and beyond to find the parts and we were able to take them home the same day or should I say night* Very thankful. My mother was so happy and satisfied!!! I have to used O'Reilly auto parts in Indio almost exclusively for my parts needs. After my experience yesterday I doubt I will be back. I had bought a battery charger there on the 8th of the month and as it turned out I did not need it. I never even opened the box. When I returned it yesterday, the 17th. The clerk (name was Abram) he acted as though he was doing me a huge favor by taking the return. The first thing he told me that I have to return something like this within a day or two as we aren't here just so you can rent things. I told him that I did not rent it. I bought it and there's nothing in his policy that says it has to be returned within right away. He got snotty with me, but backed down when he saw I wasn't about to. He has a terrible attitude and poor customer service. AutoZone here I come. read more

I was in this location yesterday 6/20 to see if someone could check my engine light. Man behind counter looked as if this service is a big pain in the rear for them. First question was where's your car? Not, "sure thing, I'll be right with you" My response was "right in front" then joked that it wasn't sitting in my driveway at home. No response as he was still looking all over for the equipment, he finally located it, I said drives me nuts when things aren't in the right place, he then proceeded to front door, with out communicating. Went to my car, used handheld to get codes, as we approached car I said I know the catalytic converter code will show but I had had an issue in Warner Hot Springs yesterday and mechanic there got three codes, he said nope, "only catalytic code" he said, you can go to one of our competitors to see what they come up with. He said Advantage is up this way (pointed west ) and said do you know we're the Pepboys is? Yes I said. grabbed his equipment and headed back to store, I said thanks, no response, I again said thank you as he was opening front door, no response. Pretty sure this may be what discrimination might feel like, I'm white, he wasn't. Entire experience with this man was uncomfortable, as I stated before, seems this service is a pain, and I was taking him away fro something else. Went to Auto Zone down the street, very helpful, even gave me a printout of the codes this store's equipment failed I to read. Will not be coming back here. read more

Having read the review below I followed the experience of the author. A headlight bulb went out on my wife's Subaru Forrester 2007 (83,000 miles). I can replace a bulb, but in the Forrester the back end of the headlight is blocked by the battery. Sonny, the manager, said that was no problem. In three minutes right in front of the store he had the old bulb out and the new one installed. This company competes with Auto Zone. Their locations are larger, their inventory is larger and their help is just great. Why go to a dealer when, at a fraction of the cost, you can buy a part and if it is an easy install they will do it for you right then and there. In the stock market these days Auto Zone is a troubled stock and O'Reilly is thriving. Thanks Sonny. read more

I had to replace a headlight on my VW. I was told by someone at pep boys it was my relay switch but was offered no other help from them...poor customer service. So I went to O'Rileys and spoke to Jose (assistant manger) he diagnosed the problem and told me the ballast on my headlight went out and needed to be replaced. Jose was so helpful and friendly. He ordered a new light and it was there within the hour. I went back to pick up and pay for the light and asked if he could help me install it. Jose was more then willing to give me a hand. Did I mention it was pouring rain outside? Jose didn't hesitate to help and had installed it within minutes! My experience with Jose and O'Rileys was worthy of a 5 star rating!! I was going on a girls trip headed to Disney from AZ. We unfortunately had some car trouble. We barley rolled into the parking lot of O'Reillys. We were just hoping it was the battery that needed to be fixed. Well we ended up being wrong and it was a much bigger problem. It ended up being the alternator that needed to be replaced. Accentually we were stranded and more then likely weren't going to make it to our destination any time soon. But Jose (Pepe) and Sergio were very kind and assured us that they were going to do everything that could to help us. It was late at night and close to closing time, they went out of their way to find a mobile mechanic to help get us on our way. Within about 2 hours we had a new battery and alternator. We made it to our destination that night! We are so grateful and can't express how wonderful and amazing the staff was. In a situation that others would freak out in, Jose and Sergio made it better and a smooth stop. read more

bad service o reilly from coachella send me over with a paid part they take 15 minutes to help me and the manager and assistant manager are talking and answering calls instead of helping the customer and at the end they did not have the part wasted my time and gas i would never go back again unless i wanted really bad customer service or the wrong information i hope this helps and try to fix this problem as soon as possible... before you lose the customer s you have left read more
