For example, at the pool, we found straws from the previous guest, etc. not a deal breaker, but something to observe. But everyone I interacted with genuinely seemed like they wanted us to have a good time. If it was fake, it was very good acting. From the valet to check in, amazing! Javier checked us in. 7 out of 5. Stress free. The pool area, 8 out of 5. Off the charts. Attention management: I stay at a lot of hotels and resorts. And though I'm sometimes overly generous with my ratings, I can honestly say Dru is the best server I've had, ever. She should run the joint! I wish I could give her a raise. Evan was pretty bad ass too and should be commended! Will I be back? 100 percent. Amazing property, rooms are great, staff is awesome. Food is good, but avoid the breakfast buffet at Rockwood. $40 for powdered eggs is no bueno! Other than that, you'll love it here!

The staff was attentive, and everything felt well organized. We had dinner at Aquifer65 & JW Sushi Bar one night, and it was fantastic. We also enjoyed dinner at Mikado Japanese Steakhouse, where the hibachi experience was both entertaining and delicious. The rooms are a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the property, but the overall experience more than makes up for it. The pools, grounds, and amenities make this a great place to spend a long weekend. I'd definitely recommend staying here--just be prepared if you're visiting in the summer. The 104-degree desert heat is no joke, so plan on spending plenty of time in the pool and staying hydrated!

Unfortunately, there was no clear signage indicating I had entered through an exit, so I simply drove to an open pump like I would at most gas stations. Almost immediately, other customers seemed upset with me, but I honestly had no idea what I had done wrong. It wasn't until a security guard came over and explained the system that I understood the issue. The entire experience was embarrassing and uncomfortable. If you're new to this station, be aware that there appears to be a specific traffic flow and queue system that may not be obvious to first-time visitors. Personally, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I'd rather go to Sheeley's, where I can simply pull up to an available pump without confusion, long lines and pissed off ... Sheeley's has plenty of pumps and steady traffic flow, the experience is much easier and far less stressful. Prices are exactly the same.

As you charge your car.. there is a steady stream of in&out burger customers just INCHES in front of your car ! I don't like the fact that I have to worry about whether the nose of my car is going to get hit. Also ... there is more than one grouping of EVGo chargers in the Rancho Las Palmas Shopping Center parking lot ... HOWEVER.... Most of the chargers are down for maintenance .... So now .... Before I get out in this 111 Degree heat ... I call EVGo customer service directly to find out what's working and what's not.... A very stressful and time consuming process :-/

Restrooms are available in the various restaurants but they are locked and you need to get the combo code. The Starbucks employees are the most accommodating for this. The pizza place has great wood fired pizza, I recommend that. Subway is Subway. By getting a bite to eat or an iced beverage you are able to enter an air conditioned space. Sitting in your car with the AC running just lengthens charging time.

We had our confirmation number and receipts for our stay but they said that since we bought our stay from a third party (Expedia) and since the name was incorrect on the reservation, they could not allow us to check in. They said you can hang out by the pool or stay inside and hopefully you can figure it out. Good luck. They could see my name on the reservation as the primary guest, but the owner (timeshare owner?) of the room's name was on there and apparently was not transferred over correctly. Things that are out of my control. That error is something between the hotel and the owner. But the hotel made it my issue. We tried for 40 minutes to get help from Expedia and the owner and nothing seemed to be progressing. So we went back up to the front desk and this time Danny G helped us. He was great! It's the only reason I'm giving 3 stars and not 2. He did everything he could on his end and then discussed it with the manager. After a few minutes, they gave us our room keys and let us check in. The room itself was nice. The bathroom floor was a bit sticky- yuck. We just put a towel over the bathroom floor. The room walls are paper thin and you can hear everything next to you and above you. There was a fan that was on constant idle and you could not turn it off. That made it a bit annoying at night. This hotel is extremely kid heavy. I saw other comments that mentioned a lot of kids. Nothing negative, just something to be aware of. The pools were overcrowded with kids and you could hear kids screaming and playing outside the rooms. For check out- no email or text was sent to us. So I just went in person to check out. As I entered for early check out (7am). I saw the lady at the front desk and she saw me. I said good morning. She did not respond at all and then picked up the phone and was on the phone for a good 3-5 minutes. I waited patiently. She then put the phone down and looked at me and said how can I help you. I said I was just here for early check out and I placed the room keys on the counter. She looked annoyed and then held a basket out in front of me. She would not pickup the room keys that a put in front of her and instead made me pick up my room keys and put them in the basket. She then looked at me and said rudely "just so you know, you don't need to check out." I said ok, have a nice day. She then responded with mmhmm. Overall, due to our experience, I would not recommend this hotel.
