She heard an accent and thought that she could stick it to a tourist. I have lived and rented through all of the companies who have come and gone in the HD for some 35 years now. Never have I ever experienced such outright scamming and deceptive practices. I would highly recommend that everyone avoid renting from this location and consider Enterprise or any other available rental company. You will be gouged and when you draw attention to the scandalous act such as this. Get only response was "you should have caught it",; no accountability or remorse for her egregious actions. If needing a rental, Avoid Avis, If you're an out of town renter, get ready to assume the position should you foolishly choose to rent from this location. Not even airport rental companies would run a scam as bad as this. Best to simply avoid the entire negative experience and go elsewhere Avoid like the plague You'll be glad you did. I couldn't see the screen. It couldn't read my credit card. I had to drive up to the attendant to tell him the machine wasn't working, but somehow, he got it to work. Overall wash was okay. Dryer section is still too short. My car was still wet and had lots of water droplets when I drove out of the wash area. I basically just got a water rinse with some suds. I had to wipe off the water spots afterwards. Hence, still 3 stars! I know they can't lengthen the dryer section, but maybe get stronger and better dryers or at least allow the car to stay there longer before moving it forward. Just a thought.
