Shortly after getting the table, I placed a couple of plastic bottles on it. Later, I noticed scratches where I had placed the bottles (see attached photo). I thought the scratches might just be marks on the surface and tried to rub them out. I used a plastic scrubber and only made matters worse. I contacted the sales rep at White House Furniture and their response was basically, "oh, well." They would do nothing to help me repair the damage aside from giving me the name of a refinisher. This is a DINING ROOM TABLE but now I am now afraid to put anything on it because it scratches so easily. This table, plus delivery cost me almost $2,000 and I am stuck with a table that needs to be covered to be used. I might as well have gone to a Bob's furniture store and purchased a cheap one if it is going to be covered all the time. I like working with the smaller vendors but will not support vendors who do not stand behind their products. Avoid these people.

She helped from start to finish, from the vanity, to the fixtures, to the tile, to the lighting, to the paint, and everything in between. Sheree has superb taste, was reliable and professional. She was all about me getting something that I would be happy with, rather than just pushing her opinion. She really guided us so that we would have a beautiful outcome. She also noticed the small details that actually make a huge difference. For example, she designed the tile layout in perfect detail, making the simple tiles look very elegant and much more expensive than they actually were. Their business practice is to tack on additional fees to already high prices. For example, they charge significant penalties for using fabric not bought directly through them, high delivery fees, additional charges for foam and any material used, credit card fees, etc. Where they can take advantage of any opportunity to maximize price, they do. What's worst, though, is that many of these penalties and fees are not even revealed until after it's too late to back out. The way they conduct business is shady and leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
